Absolutely beautiful custom-built beach house with all the amenities needed to have an incredible Narragansett, RI beach vacation. The home is tastefully decorated with all new appliances, beds, furniture and electronics...including 2 flat-screen TVs with cable, new stereo, dvd player, cordless phones (free long distance in U.S.), etc. The home has central ac for those very hot weeks as well. You do not need to bring anything but your bathing suit and clothes to enjoy your time at our home. Narragansett has the most amazing beaches in New England, restaurants and nightlife, but you are also only 10 minutes from scenic Newport where you can enjoy the mansions, quaint shops, fabulous eateries and everything else that wonderful island has to offer. You are also only 10 minutes from the Block Island Ferry. Block Island is one of the "hidden gems" in this country...very, very beautiful with excellent nightlife, restaurants and sightseeing as well.
Our home is very kid-friendly. It is safety-proofed for babies/toddlers and there are no stairs as it is one level (basement access is behind the house) . Kid-friendly features include a pack & play, kid tent, booster seat, waterproof matress pads, blackout curtains in every bedroom (so kids-or adults!- can sleep later or nap), games, toys, ping-pong & foosball. There are plenty of kids in the neighborhood and at the beach all summer. The neighborhood is very upscale and the house has deeded rights to a private beach which is a 4-5 minute walk down the road. We have a golf cart to take back and forth to the beach. You cannot park cars or bikes at the beach, but you can park the golf cart. This comes in very handy...trust me! :)
The location of the home is behind Twin Willows Restaurant (walking distance) in the Wesquage area of Bonnet Shores. You can enjoy the benefits of having Twin Willows nearby without hearing any of the noise. This family friendly restaurant/tavern is known for it's great seafood and quality nightlife. We use it for takeout quite often when at our beach house.
Enjoy everything South County has to offer as you are minutes from historic Wakefield, Theatre By The Sea in Matunuck and a wide variety of beaches on Narragansett Bay or the Atlantic Ocean in South County.

- Smoking Not Allowed : Not allowed in the house or the yard. If you want to smoke, please take a pleasant walk to the beach. If we find cigarettes in the yard, you will lose your deposit. However, nobody lost any of their deposit last year...everybody received full deposits back. We are not trying to be difficult but don't want a yard filled with cigarettes.

My wife and I were married on Block Island, and I grew up in the Ocean State. My wife grew up in Wisconsin but has fallen in love with Rhode Island's beauty and many beautiful beaches. My kids love the beaches (rated #1 in New England) due to the great waves and the family-friendly atmosphere.
Why the Owner Chose Bonnet Shores
My wife and I have been vacationing in Rhode Island every summer, and Narragansett is clearly our favorite spot. We love the variety of beaches, some with surf and some more calm...appealing to my family now as we have two boys ages 7and 3. We bought a home near Bonnet Shores so it would be an easy 10 minute drive to Newport, a family favorite place to hang out.

When staying at our beach house in Narragansett, we are able to experience the best beaches in New England and at the same time enjoy Newport on a moments notice. South County has a wide variety of beaches on the bay or the ocean, and they are all amazing. We love the seafood, nightlife, restaurants and Theatre By the Sea.
