Redfish is a family vacation dream house! 4 generations gathered for a week of fun in the sun and ended up with incredible memories for a lifetime! The kitchen is perfectly laid out for crowd-cooking and the huge wooden table is SO nice for meals and games! A little rain didn't dampen the fun- we just played ladderball on the HUGE front porch! Beautiful starlit nights are great away from the Destin and PCB lights... Looking for a perfect place where your family can be together, but still have their privacy? Redfish is IT! Book it!

RedFish was perfect for our family event. Close to Seaside, and Santa Rosa Beach. Kids biked, Kayaked and my son and I played Santa Rosa CC. The house was ideal for our gathering, and we hope to visit again soon.

Beachfront Paradise!!

We rented Redfish for the week after Christmas through the New Years. And this house was spectacular!!! It not only, lived up to, but exceeded our expectations for a well needed week of fun and relaxation with our family. We were able to rent bikes just three blocks from the house to use all week. Seaside and Grayton beach are just an easy 2 and 4 miles respectively from the beach house. We also had a kayak delivered to our house for use all week and loved how easy it was to simply launch from the beach whenever the urge struck. While Redfish is proximate to everything you'd ever want to do in the Destin/Seaside area....I think the best part of the vacation was simply enjoying the beautiful and spacious house that provides breathtaking views from sun up to sun down. And oh, the sunset!. On a more practical note....we rent A LOT of VRBO homes and what we most appreciated about this home was the impeccable cleanliness....clean refrigerator....and most importantly, "real" property management that is courteous and responsive. We had one minor hiccup in the first couple of days with the hot water heater and one call to the property management company and it was quickly taken care of. Thank you Redfish for helping to create another vacation of wonderful memories for our family. We look forward to coming back soon!!! The Helmans (Atlanta)

Good afternoon Barbara. Just letting you know we had another great vacation at the Redfish. Your home is so comfortable and we love the back porch for morning coffee and evening visiting. We had a little more seaweed than we liked but we still had a great time. Rented some boats and waverunners on the bay one day and the kiddos had a blast. Cooked a big steak and shrimp dinner one night and celebrated life at the beach! Mitchell's Seafood Market at Grand Boulevard was outstanding in food and service. Thanks again for sharing your home with the rest of us. It was enjoyed and appreciated! Kathy

My husband and my teenage son and I had the good fortune of spending a few days at 'Relaxing Redfish' a few weeks ago. Each of us decided to rate our 'getaway' after returning home to Atlanta. It was unanimous: the 'Redfish experience' garnered three '10' scores....highest rating possible!! We LOVED it......and, there was SO MUCH to LOVE: spectacular beach views, spacious, comfortable bedrooms, lots of interesting interior design features throughout home, modern, inviting kitchem & dining area, ultra-convenient location for walking, exploring, biking, mega opportunities for birdwatching, irresistable porches furnished with great chairs and greater views, and on and on and on...Renew and Regenerate at RedFish!

What a wonderful place to celebrate New Years! 4 couples & 3 teenagers spent the New Year Holiday together in this fabulous house. I can't say enough; it was fantastic! Breakfasts and dinners were cooked in the gourmet kitchen and the table was large enough to accomodate all 11 of us seated together--which was a real treat! Morning coffee and yoga out on the deck overlooking the beach; long strolls along the beach; people and birdwatching; afternoons spent wandering around Seaside, then back again for evening activities including cooking, eating & wine tasting! We capped off New Year's Eve by watching area fireworks from the decks! The accomodations were perfect and I would highly recommend it to friends and family.

My husband and I stayed a week in November and were blown away by this location. The house was amazing - very well maintained and clean. With all the windows at the back, it looked like we were walking onto the sand and ocean as we came in the front door. The views were outstanding. Every one of our friends that came by to see us wanted to stay on the back porch in the chairs. We stay in the area every year in October or early November and this was the best yet. We will definitely return. Thank you Barbara and family!!!!!

Finally- a vacation rental house that lives up to its description.I`m very hesitant to write a glowing review for fear of others finding out about this vacation home.I`d rather it remain a secret, but I guess I should tell the truth.We loved this house and its great location.What a beautiful area! This house definitely exceeded our expectations. The spacious open layout and large balcony/porch provide unbelievable views of the gulf. We watched dolphins swim by just about every morning. We had our wedding at this house and all of our guests were amazed with this house as well! The owner, Barbara, is a pleasure to work with. She answered all our questions in a timely manner and was very helpful in booking our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to all, as we will definitely be returning ourselves!

All I can say is wonderful!! The house, location and the beach all were 10's!! It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had due to the fact that everything we were promised about the house was delivered. We have told all our friends that this is the house to rent if they want a great worry free trip. I am sure we will be back again next year.

Our family & friends (group of 10, aged 25-60) had the best vacation ever in the Redfish house, Sept 18-26. We loved everything about it. Great for families and couples with plenty of room for big dinners and relaxing. Warm and inviting. One unexpected pleasure, the surf could be heard from every bedroom! We enjoyed the porch for our morning coffee and the beautiful sunsets. Looking forward to our next stay there.

Sorry it took so long to reply--It seems like forever ago we were sitting on the porch at Redfish. I want you to know that we loved your house! Our two-week stay was perfect. It sounds like all the renovations will be wonderful. We have no idea what next year will bring but we will certainly remember Redfish if we get back to that area. We have been home for almost a week now and are still relishing our great time in your house on Blue Mountain. We all (14) had a great time. The kids caught crabs and jelly fish and fed the birds on the beach. We gathered shells and rented a kayak for all to enjoy. Thank- you for the great accommodations.

Redfish was everything we wanted and more in a summer vacation rental. The location was ideally suited for our large family. And what you see in the listing photos is accurate! No photoshop needed. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the family/kitchen area where we could all gather and then retire to our bedrooms that comfortably fit all the different needs of the family. Walk out the back porch, and down your private stairs to the beach. The owner was very accomodating with all of the information leading up to our stay, and was quick to answer our emails if we had questions. Seaside is very close by (10 minutes) and shopping at the outlet shops (20 minutes) is a breeze to get to. Do I sound biased about Redfish? I am! It was a wonderful vacation for all of us and we are going back next summer.

My family stayed at Redfish for a week in July and absolutely LOVED the house, the views, and the short bike ride to Seaside! We had six adults and 3 children which fit comfortably with beds to spare! Redfish is a very spacious house with plenty of beds and room for everyone. The pictures and website accurately showed this house but nothing can compare to waking up every morning to the beautiful view of the Gulf that this house has to offer. The owner, Barbara was extremely helpful in booking and answering any questions we had about the property! Would definitely recommend this rental to anyone and look forward to coming back to Redfish!
