Great place to enjoy Santa Fe

Our family of 6 (4 adults, 2 teens) stayed at this property over the Christmas Holidays... the house is beautiful and in a perfect area of town, within walking distance of the plaza and main attractions. Close to ski resort (Ski Santa Fe) and close to the local sledding hill (7 miles). The grocery store is also a quick 10 minute drive. The house itself was well furnished with enough linens for our family. Plenty of dishes to cook a Christmas meal. Very clean and nicely decorated. The owner left us a nice goodie basket as well. A couple of suggestions: it'll be nice to have a guest book, maybe a book of instructions (how to use the washer/dryer, when to take the trash out, recycling instructions etc.); ad a mirror in the bedrooms, maybe a couple of hooks behind the bathroom doors, in the winter maybe ad an extra door mat for wet boots and maybe have a sled available for the kids (we drove so we were able to buy sleds and take them back home but it'll be nice for people that fly into town). Overall we had a great time and enjoyed the house very much! Thanks for letting us use your house for the perfect family vacation! If we come back to Santa Fe we'd love to stay there again!

Just stayed here very comfortably over Memorial Day weekend as a party of 6 with 2 medium-sized dogs. Condo is EXACTLY as described and pictured, and is immaculate. Plenty of dishes and utensils. Owners leave a welcome-basket tailored to your party. Bedrooms are very large. Master bathroom is spa quality, with lots of natural light. Lovely and interesting art on the walls. Fantastic sandstone tile throughout--makes for good footing. Kiva is highly functional. Fully fenced in, xeroscaped yard, that is clean and without pet waste (we usually have to pick up waste from previous pet owners who don't seem to be as concerned with giving pet owners a good name, so we were delighted that the yard was already completely clean). We walked everywhere in downtown Santa Fe from here, and took a cab home one night for less than $5. Turn up Artist to the adobe stairway entrance that ascends 150 feet up the side of the hill and yields awesome views of downtown Santa Fe, and fabulous sunsets. Horace was delightful to deal with, and takes service quite seriously. He called in during our stay to make sure we were satisfied. Have rented through VRBO on more than 10 occasions and this is among the very best experiences! Would stay no where else in Santa Fe!

With over 400 homes and Hotels in the Santa Fe area available for rental, it is not easy to decide where to stay. The owners are very proud of their home and they take pride in their vacation getaway and are always consistent in the presentation of the home itself and they love sharing it with guests. It's location is really ideal as it is close to the plaza and sometimes it is actually easier to leave the car on the gated property and walk everywhere to avoid parking hassles.
