Located in a private cul-de-sac in East Fork, just 14 minutes from Bald Mountain ski lifts, this custom-built, 6000+ square foot mountain lodge has breath-taking views of the majestic Pioneer, Smokey and Minebender Mountains. Walk out the front door for snowshoeing and hiking, or just walking along the cul-de-sac. This home was designed by an award-winning architect, for this family - which loves the outdoors, skiing, hiking, fishing, as well as entertaining in an elegant setting.
Amenities include two stone fireplaces, butternut woodwork, gourmet eat-in kitchen with slate slab countertops, service for twenty, and two dishwashers. The dining table seats 10-12, with 8 more in the kitchen. The three bedrooms upstairs have en-suite bathrooms; the master suite on the ground floor includes a den with stone f/pl and flat panel TV/DVR; the master bathroom has white marble counters with two sinks, a stone walk-in shower, and a separate toilet room. The Great Room with stone fireplace has 25 feet high ceilings with views of the Pioneers to the east and the Smokeys to the west.
The game room has views of the Smokeys and the Pioneers. The soundproof Media room with views of the Smokeys has a flat screen TV, a full range of electronics, two workstations, and a queen size pullout sleep sofa. Sit in the outdoor hot tub and watch the sun set on the Pioneers while you listen to the ducks calling each other in for the night and watch the elk graze on the hillside.
The family antiques from the Victorian era and the Western décor make this house elegant, comfortable, personal and fun.

Our family loves skiing and the many other outdoor activities available in “the Valley.” We also enjoy movies, concerts and eating great food with friends and family. At the end of a day of outdoor fun, we like to sit down by the roaring fire and read, play games, listen to music and visit with each other..
Why the Owner Chose Hailey
There is SO much to do here! Sun Valley has the best skiing and the most man-made snow so we know we will always be able to ski during the winter months. The restaurants in Hailey, Ketchum and Sun Valley run the gamut from elegant dining to rustic to vegetarian to good old pizza. And if we choose to cook at home we can always find great ingredients at the local markets. We also love the other outdoor activities – hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, fishing, golfing – which are surrounded by beautiful mountain views. The live concerts, and the movies and the various crafts and antique shows are also great fun.
The Unique Benefits of this Private Home on 8 Acres
In the mornings we love to sit in the outdoor hot tub and watch the elk graze on the nearby foothills to the north. After a day of hiking or skiing we love to sit in the hot tub and watch the ducks call each other in for the night. The house is warm and cozy with the two fireplaces adding visual and actual warmth in the wintertime. We love to cozy up in the master suite den on a quiet night and watch a movie by the fire. The porch facing the Pioneer mountains is a glorious place to entertain in the summer months. You can hear the East Fork River in the summer.
