Villa Tranquila is conveniently located about 1/2 mi. from the ferry boats, heading south on the airport road on Isla Mujeres. It is between a small airport strip to the right and the Caribbean Sea to the left. Villa Tranquila has it all with the incomparable turquoise hues of the Caribbean at your doorstep and a roofttop pool for your enjoyment with downtown and beautiful beaches only a short walk away.
The house has its own furnished terraces with the palapa (thatched) shaded rooftop terrace perfect for relaxing in the comfortable loungers. The rooftop terrace offers magnificent views of the sun rising over the open sea and the sun setting over Mujeres Bay. There is a toilet, mini-bar area with a fridge and sink as well as tables and chairs for enjoying spectacular sunsets while dining. Why the Owner Chose Isla Mujeres
As far as we are concerned there is no better location for taking a vacation- OCEANFRONT & BEACHFRONT to the Caribbean Sea- with a view of Mujeres Bay on the other side of the house! It is also very convenient to the downtown area.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The whole day can be spent right at the house. The water and the beach are at the doorstep. The rooftop pool and covered palapa area complete with refrigerator, sink, toilet, chairs & tables, loungers, and hammocks give a wonderful place to relax, read, sunbathe, eat, and swim. We have bicycles for our renters to use at no extra charge.
The "Main House" of Villa Tranquila- it is Oceanfront on the Caribbean side of Isla Mujeres. It is about 1/2 mile from town.
A few small private and military planes come in and out of here. It is exciting to watch from Villa Tranquila!

Garell and I had been going to the island for many years, had purchased Casa Tranquila in 2003, and thought we would like to make another investment on the island. This property was next door to Casa Tranquila, so we contacted the owner and ended up purchasing it also. We love the island- the people and the atmosphere!
