Do you crave a quite retreat to replenish your spirit? Away from the daily grind? Watch the sun rise over the mountain, or the frequent weekend fireworks. Catch that big bass you have dreamed about? It is all here waiting for your pleasure. Our 3 bedroom cottage is on 156 feet of semi-private waterfront. We also have a large 4 bedroom cottage listed on VRBO.
From the moment you park the car you will be amazed at our lovely location. The paver walk beacons you into our cottage. The simple life awaits your pleasure. Central location to the wine trails (within 20- 45 minutes). Recent rent reduction offers a great deal on your stay!
Our 3 1/2 bedroom double wide has a lovely enclosed porch and open sitting deck. A large dock and beautiful view of wet lands marsh area. We have herons, ducks, geese and a pair of immature Eagles in the area. We offer a paddle boat and have life jackets for children and adults. We have a large cottage available listed on VRBO you can check it out!
We offer a private location with wood lot across the street. We have a nice fishing spot and a clean 3 bedroom home. The kitchen is fully stocked, with pans, silverware and dishes, plus we are pet friendly. Our lake front is mud and muck but there are public beaches nearby.
Our lake front has a gentle slop with the cottage sitting approximatly 20 feet from the lake. It may not be a good match for the handicap. The fishing is very good and there is a boat launch on the Island and also in town.

Year Purchased: 1990
I grew up visiting my Grandfather who owned Weller Island. The story is told that Grandpa was playing Poker with Dr. Weller. Grandpa was winning when the good Doctor put up some bottom lake side farm land. When the hand was done Grandfather was the proud owner of an Island. Since he worked on a road crew in Dundee NY, it very shortly had a road built to get to it. When I was young I thought Grandpa and Grandma was the best place to visit. I learned to swim, played with my cousins and was a shadow to Grandpa. Grandma spent her time in the kitchen so the fun was with my Gramps. He was a social butterfly always visiting or puttering around outside. Today many guest comment on our peaceful setting and the nice fishing. We have people who return yearly. We are located 20 minutes from Watkins Glenn speedway (via back roads seldom a hassle in getting to the race track). A short 10 minute drive to Bradford area you will find a secluded primitive camping, swimming area. It is a great place to bring a picnic and let the kids swim. Hiking trails, picnic tables and portable out house are available. Go down Rt. 226 toward Savona pass the first gas station look for DEC camping signs, take a right and you will see the DEC signs on the left. You will love it! Our cottage is large enough to host that family reunion you have talked about but never get around to doing. Or you just need some down time, quite time, time for you. You’ll love our small community very friendly summer people. Do you want a cottage facing the lake where you can just relax? Take the kids to the park or beach and come back to relax?

Peace and Quite that is what I love about our cottage. Listening to the bull frogs and the crickets at night just lull me to sleep. Fishing, reading, walking on a dirt road, biking on the county roads. Our cottage is a place of peace and calming, if your looking to unwind this is it.
