Welcome to our cozy cabin on the creek. Our home is on a private road and sits directly on the CREEK. It’s very peaceful! It’s a ranch style layout offering easy accessibility, plenty of room for families and an open floor plan with cathedral ceiling. The home sleeps 6 people offering 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom.
As you enter through the mudroom you will notice the house is tastefully furnished in a cozy, inviting theme, giving your vacation to the mountains a comfortable feel. Each bedroom has a Queen or Double bed, closet, mirror, nightstand and dressers. Additionally the living room has a Queen pull out, very comfortable, sofa bed. Our kitchen if fully equipped with home away from home amenities. The living room has 2 large couches, cable TV with DVD VCR and a gas fireplace.
You can enjoy sitting on the porch that overlooks the beautiful creek and take in all the views and relaxing sounds of the Pocono’s, or take a hike through our adjacent wooded property or just go fishing right in the backyard. Outdoor propane grill provided for additional cooking options. Our home is non-smoking and we do not allow pets at this time.
We offer an early booking special for Spring/Summer Season----Weekly non holiday rentals Fri-Fri for only $550. Holidays are $100 more. We also rent by the weekend Fri-Sun for $500 and can rent for the month so call or email us and we’ll try to accommodate your requests. Security Deposit of $250 will secure date and upon inspection of home will be returned 1 week after renting. We are sure you will return to our home again and again.
The Pocono area is filled with things to do for people of all ages. Located just 40 minutes west of the Delaware Water Gap, and less than 2 hours from Philadelphia it’s an easy trip for almost everyone. Our home is just minutes from four major ski areas - - Big Boulder, Jack Frost, Blue Mountain and Camelback. It is also minutes from Hickory Run State Park which provides a beautiful public swimming lake, food facilities, hiking, etc. If you need more to do, there are many other local attractions.
Nearby you can visit the Pocono Raceway, Shawnee Resort, Hickory Run State Park, historic town of Jim Thorpe, Penn's Peak, Lake Harmony, museums, unlimited shopping choices, rafting, golfing, paintball, go-carts, horseback riding, casino’s and so much more. There are numerous dining selections from formal to casual within minutes of the home.
