My husband and I came to SC to find a beach house for the family. After busy days, we couldnt wait to come back to your beautiful home for the peace and quiet we needed! Your place is exactly what we want for our home as well. Right on the beach, clean and comfortable, I couldn't ask for anything more! I would recommend your home without any hesitation! Seriously, if you love the beach half as much as we do ~ don't miss the opportunity to stay at Marie and Bob's Paradise Getaway! The beach is steps away. Casual dining is very close. Lots of places to shop. This place has everything! The property is very clean and maintained well. We've vacationed here for the third time just over a year. I wouldn't reserve another place in Cherry Grove. Marie is quick to e-mail you or call you, if you have any questions or concerns. I would recommend Paradise Getaway to anyone looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating vacation. They treat you like family! ENJOY!!

3 adults and 2 children have recently returned from a wonderful vacation @ Bob and Marie's home in Cherry Grove. A bright, clean and comfortable condo was our home for a week that I wish never came to an end. The location couldn't be any better, within seconds you can walk onto a section of beach so beautiful you will not want to leave. The beach/ocean was perfect for my children of 3 and 5 with tide pools @ low tide and relatively calm surf at the waterline. The area is quiet and relaxing but only a short drive to all of the entertainment Myrtle Beach has to offer. The photos and description were accurate and the owners were extremely helpful in answering our questions. Not only would I recommend Paradise Getaway to friends and family but have every intention of returning myself. Thank you for letting us stay in your home away from home - it really is just like PARADISE!

My family and I stayed at "Paradise" it truly was an amazing vacation. We loved the fact that the beach was right there, which we went to every day!!! The water was perfect and the weather was amazing. My family and I loved the location of the condo to the beach. We would leave everything on the beach to go back up to the condo for lunch, a snack, a drink, or whatever it was that we may have needed. My family and I also loved that there was a kitchen right there, so that we could cook a few meals just like we were right at home. The atmosphere of Marie and Bob's paradise is such a warming atmosphere. As soon as you walk through the door it feels like you are home. We will be staying here again when we make our way back down to North Myrtle Beach. Thank you Marie and Bob for opening your home to us!!!

Very nice condo. Clean and well decorated. Good view of the beach/ocean from the balcony. Family of five and more then enough room in the condo. Owner is very friendly and makes everything very easy during the rental process. Would definitely stay here again if returning to NMB.

For us the beach is about r e l a x a t i o n !! Paradise is great. I really love the proximity to the beach. Oops, left the sunscreen in the condo... no problem, it's just so close! This apartment is very well equipped and comfortable. Cooking while on vacation is not for everyone, but I enjoy cooking. I was very pleased with the kitchen and eating area. Breakfast on the balcony was a great start to each day. The view of the beach is lovely. Cherry Grove beach is great for families or for watching cute kids that are not your responsibility... so awesome! One day I'll bring grand kids, but this year having my single 20 somethings pop in was fun for all of us. We all had a great time.

Great place to stay right on the beach! Easy access and great location to a quiet beach. Far enough away from the condos that there are no crowds on the beach. Great condo, fully equiped, great decor, very clean and everything works! Couple small drawbacks, it is right on the main street so there is constant road noise if you open the windows. The ac unit is on the patio so its noisy and a bit crowded out on the patio. We ate breakfast out on the patio every morning and watched the waves. Loved the condo and enjoyed our stay imenstly. The owners were great.

By Ohio standards, winter was non existent. Never-the-less; emergency medical situations, treatments, family weddings and funerals, and a myriad of stressful events made a getaway a necessity. As we searched VRBO sights, one looked too good to be true. The reviews were all positive. When we contacted the owners, we were blown away by a caring, enthusiastic owner and new friend- Marie. We were so blessed to find "paradise" at Marie and Bob's slice of heaven. The condo was clean, bright, and comfortable. Everything looked new or next to new. The bathroom was newly remodeled and all of our needs had been anticipated by Marie. The beach was just a step off the back deck and the beach and surrounding area was much more peaceful and clean than the hectic Myrtle Beach area we had experienced in the past. This was the vacation getaway that we needed and longed for. Not surprisingly, the week flew and we reluctantly had to leave the serenity that we found in D-2. Pat and I will return now that we have found a great place to recharge our batteries. Pat & Scott (Ohio)

In a word? Paradise... But we all aready know that don't we? Imagine this... 4 Adults, 5 children - Newborn, 2, 4, 6 and 9. There were PLENTY of sleeping spaces. We ate in the condo almost every meal. We watched movies and played games after dark. Sounds like home??? Well, it was, except paradise was only 30 seconds away.... It was gorgeous. If you want to go to stay on the beach, its perfect. If you want to go sightseeing, its perfect. If like us, you want to do a little of both... You guessed it!! It's perfect!! It truly is a nice place to take your family or even a romantic getaway. We will definitely be returning. It's only a few minutes to the Boardwalk, Broadway on the Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, and many other sightseeing adventures. My family especially loved the Super Voyager III Dolphin tour. It was awesome. If you are considering this condo look no further... I researched for weeks before booking with Marie and I did NOT make a mistake. A great big thank you to Marie and her family for sharing her home with my family, it was a truly special experience! Enjoy your time and have an awesome time in PARADISE. -- Family of 5 from Georgia

My husband, mom and I just returned from a wonderful stay at Marie's and family's condo in the Cherry Grove Section of North Myrtle Beach. It was the perfect place for us to stay. The size and layout of the condo was perfect for the 3 of us. It was comfortable and clean. The tall chairs on the balcony were an added plus, easy for my elderly mom to get in and out of. We enjoyed sitting out there and watching the ocean. For us, at this time of year, Cherry Grove, is a wonderful place to go to relax and shop. Large shopping complexes are within an easy 20 minute drive, yet Cherry Grove is very quiet and calm. If we decide to vacation next fall in the same area, I will definitely contact Marie again. She could not have been easier or nicer to work with, whether by email or by phone. Oh, another thing I really like is that the condo has it own recycling bins located very close and convenient to the entrance. Thanks Marie for sharing your Paradise Getaway with us.

We have never met the owners face to face but we knew that our tastes were very similiar when we opened the door for the first time at D2! This place is just it for our family of 5. As far as telling you why, I really dont know if its possible. As you get out of the car and walk up into the breezeway,a few things happen...First, your eyes see a trail of sand about two feet wide and curvy through the overgrowth and a little further out, your eyes find that sea of deep blue thats caused you to drive so very very far and lastly that salty air that flows through the breezeway hits you and you know that your destination is over. The owners have a sign on the door that says "Paradise" and boy its true. Simple, neat, clean, oceanfront,all of the amenities from home and not 16 floors up with 3000 people in the same building. MOST OF ALL, just a few people here and there to say hello. The beach is vacant until about 9 a.m. and is never packed during the day. Did I mention it (the beach) was about 20 seconds from the door? D2 was warm and like we were staying with friends for a long weekend. Someone owns it and loves it. They believe in it and love it so much that they have pictures of their loved ones all over for others too see. Its not just a "rental" Unit. The Nautical theme and bright beachy colors make it what it is. The guestbook was full of years worth of guests from all over the country that had experienced what we were in the moment in time. There was not one time when we said "well, it would have been better if" because the total package is what made it a winner with us D2 itself, the facility, the way its laid out, the breezeway, the short walk to the beach, the balcony, the pool, the huge wooden deck, everything, its all there. If this does not convey a small piece of what we had at D2 in the summer of 10' then all I can say is to try it yourself. These two 30 somethings with 3 small kids absolutely loved it and have staked a claim on it for 2011 already. Regards, fam of 5 from NC GO HEELS!!!!!!

Our thanks to Marie and Bob for a wonderful week in "Paradise".It was the perfect vacation for my family and I ,great weather, easy beach access and most of all having the amenities of home. This is a very well kept condo. The beach was not crowded which we all loved! I will definitely rent condo for my next vacation(possibly Sept or Oct) or the summer of 2012. Thank you both once again for a wonderful week!!!!

My husband and I, along with our 2 children stayed at the Paradise Getaway. We were extremely pleased. It is very family oriented and the beach was not crowded at all. The unit is the perfect size, wonderful decor, and located right on the beach. It is wonderful to walk out of the door and see the beach. The owner Marie is wonderful and always just a phone call away for questions or concerns. I would definitely stay again!!

If you are looking for a very comfortable place to stay call Marie about her Paradise Getaway! It has everything you will need for a relaxing, enjoyable time away from the everyday grind. If for some reason you need something you aren't far away and there are plenty of things to do in the way of attractions, shopping, eating out, etc. Marie is a delightful person and has a very nice Paradise to share at a reasonable price.

Very homey and comfortable unit. There was even a hand juicer in the kitchen! We love the beachy decor. It is just a few yards to the beach and if you forget all your sand toys, no problem, they have some! The owner is very conscientious and wonderfully friendly. All in all a great experience and vacation!
