The farm house is part of the Bates Mansion at Brook Farm National Historical Site and sits on forty-five stunning acres. This farm house offers country living at its finest. This beautiful four-bedroom, four-bathroom Vermont farmhouse has it all. You will arrive to a warm home with fresh clean linens on fully made beds. You make yourself at home in this gorgeously decorated house where you can rest in front of the woodstove after a great day on the slopes during the winter or after a full day hike in the fall. This is the type of place you will come back to year after year
ABOUT THE HOUSE:
Once inside, you’ll be amazed at the beauty and charm this home exudes. Each of the four bedrooms has its own full bathroom. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds each uniquely decorated and the fourth bedroom has six twin beds and double height ceilings. In the kitchen the floor to ceiling windows afford magnificent views of the grounds and green mountains. A hallway "walk-through" room with a bed (a "fifth bedroom") can be used as a sleeping room or a television room.
Stay warm on cold winter nights by the antique woodstove in the family room. This tastefully furnished home has many extras including a reading room, family room, living room, formal dining room, and an eat-in kitchen. The house is furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary furnishings. Satellite TV, DVD player, fully furnished kitchen and much more.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY::
The property could not be better for cross-country skiing with a nice choice of picturesque trails that give you a good workout and some beautiful sights. Likewise, you'll find the sledding and snowshoeing exhilarating and enticing. This property is exclusive, private and offers ponds for ice-skating, as well as numerous sledding hills. The VAST snow-mobiling trails are only 1/8 mile away. Also, snow-shoeing, hiking, and many winter opportunities and options are available to you.
SKING:
Okemo Mountain offers ninety-six trails providing all experience levels with some of the most exciting and challenging of them coming on the mogul runs on Double Diamond. If you want to try out more than one mountain, a thirty to forty five minute drive brings you to Killington, Stratton, Bromley and Magic Mountains.
ABOUT THE AREA:
Ludlow has great restaurants from fine dining and fun pubs. Quant shops and antiquing galore. There are many historic, tourist, and outdoor attractions in the area, but if you want peace and quiet, you have only to stay around the property.
