The Ski Inn is located less than 500 yards from the base of the Winter Park Ski Resort. The Inn is a lovely, spacious and comfortable vacation home that features Five bedrooms plus a loft, two baths, and a private hot-tub. You can walk or catch the free shuttle to the ski lifts, the resort is only moments away.

The three level home has lots of room for family and friends to comfortably spread out through the house. Enter into the MUD room and drop off your extra gear. The main level is open and airy with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light. Cozy living room/dining room combination boasts a large moss rock fireplace to enjoy. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and dining table large enough to seat 10 people. 1 Queen bedroom and bath w/shower also located on main floor. Situated upstairs are two bedrooms, a small loft with pull our futon, and a full bathroom with tub/shower.

The lower level unit has a separate living room with entertainment (TV), dining area and kitchen with views. There are two bedrooms with a double bed in each. The bathroom is spacious and has a walk in shower. The hot tub is located just outside the lower level.

Entertainment includes TV/VCR, 3 decks - First is the spacious sun deck with outdoor furniture off the main level adjoining the family room. The Second is situated on the back of the house with a gas grill & awesome views of the continental divide. Thirdly there is a lower back deck with views and a relaxing hot tub. Please observe our no smoking rule.

For larger groups, or those who want more space, we can also rent the lower level which has two more bedrooms, family room, small kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with shower. This area also includes a TV and VCR in the second living room. We DO NOT rent the lower level separately, so you will have privacy.

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 1993

We are a mother-daughter team, working together to share the beauty, peace, and joy of the SkiInn and Winter Park with others. Judy leads a very busy life "down the hill" in Boulder, where she works as a therapist and runs a food bank. Jenni now lives in California, pursuing a new career in Marine Biology, but returns to Colorado many times every year and always includes a trip to the SkiInn as part of her visit back home.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes, Old Town

Judy spent many years volunteering for the Winter Park Handicapped Ski Program and fell in love with the Winter Park/Mary Jane ski area and the town of Winter Park. The neighborhood of "Old Town Winter Park" is particularly special as it is extremely close to the ski area, but without the crowds and close quarters of the lodging located right at the base.

A few of our favorite places included Shipwreck Landing North for food and drinks, Alpine Sun for ski rentals and repairs, summertime walks with the dogs along the creek bike path into town.
