From the private ski locker, to the heated garage, to the salt water pool & hot tub, this slope side loft is an experience in luxury. We had a fantastic visit, were very impressed by the ski school and were comfortable from start to finish. I highly recommend this property as a destination vacation you will be sure to enjoy.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We always love staying at Base Camp One. It's easy to send the kids to ski school in the mornings (just walk out the back door) and coming back for lunch is a breeze. This condo had all the amenities of home and I enjoyed having all the spices & condiments needed to cook our dinners.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Our family had an excellent stay in this very comfortable condo. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Sleeping arrangements were very comfortable for adults and kids and can't beat the location. We were 20 yards from the lift, 20 yards from the lodge. Didn't even look at our car when we were there. Common area is very comfortable with games and movies. Ski locker was very convenient to where we didn't have to haul our gear around. Really couldn't ask for more. We can't wait to make it back here for another ski vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great for folks learning to ski and young children, tweens, and teens who can ski/snowboard - they can come and go as they please. Easy to rent and store your skis everyday. The local grocery is great - especially if you do most of your cooking at home. The grill was great when we were just to tired or lazy to cook. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Hope to make it back someday.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Great place for first timers. Kids had a blast and loved the condo. Ski school was awesome and the people were great. Only negative is the pool and hot tub are outside and a good distance away. We will be back next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We loved this condo! Great location on the slopes and very well appointed. We particularly appreciated the owners' information leading up to our visit ... they made things very easy! This was a perfect condo for our family of 5 ... our kids loved learning to ski at Sol Vista, and we loved having a "home" right at the base of the lifts. We have awesome memories of our visit, and we look forward to coming back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We stayed for a long weekend as the trees were turning their leaves. It was a beautiful location. We were able to explore nearby Steamboat Springs, Grand Lake and Winter Park. I am a local and ski at both Winter Park and Sol Vista and have stayed at this condo several times. We love it and would recommend it to anyone and wouldn't think of going anywhere else in this area! The condo is very spacious, is in excellent shape and there are beautiful mountain views off the balcony. Our visits have been during the summer for biking, hiking and just getting away and also for skiing at Sol Vista and we've had great experiences every time. Having a true ski in/ski out is great for both adults and kids and the amenities there are perfect and easy. There is a great indoor garage, lockers for bikes and ski equipment, large workout room and a game room for kids. The mountain offers a safe and smaller scale resort for young skiers yet some more advanced terrain for the adults. It is Easy, relaxed, new and has all the extras! It's also a short 20 minute drive to downtown Winter Park!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here with our daughter's family over a long weekend. The first day we skied just up the road at Winter Park. Skiing the next day at Sol Vista with our 3 year-old and 7 year-old grand kids was by far the best. We stepped out the door of our condo and there we were ready to jump on the lift. It's perfect for a family with young kids. Winter Park was a bit of a zoo (actually without the kids it would have been just fine.) However, the skiing at Sol Vista was laid back, safe and all trails lead back to the base. We decided to go back in late spring -- a bit wet, but we could still ride the main Sol Vista lift and check out the view at the top where weddings are held and hike down. Oh -- we forgot the code to get into the condo -- we called the owners, no problem -- sweet people.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We loved staying here! Slopeside works perfectly for all ages with skiing, sledding and cross country skiing right out your door. Easy to go back to the condo for lunch or snack too. The underground parking garage is an added bonus and makes it easy to load and unload. Loved the set up for the rooms, especially the kids room with a double bed, bunk bed and trundle all in one room. We used the DVD player in the kids room to calm them down in the evening. Love having the washer and dryer in the unit - with young kids, we used it. We all had a great time and would highly recemmend this beautifully decorated, warm and well-equipped condo to anyone!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our family stayed at this condo last winter. We were very pleased with the amount of space it had to offer along with a breath taking view of the valley. We had an incredible week skiing at Sol Vista with the kids. After each day skiing we took advantage of sitting by the fire pit to warm up and relax. It was nice having a restaurant nearby for those days too tired to cook for the family. We hope to stay here again next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Spent a week at property winter of 2011. Terrific location, great mountain, and well managed property. Everything was as described and we could not have been happier. T Great alternative to the Vail/Aspen locations and property is just a short drive to Winter Park if you're looking to hit up a mega-mountain during your stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Perfect place for a fun and stress-free getaway! The owners were excellent "hosts" making sure we had all the information we needed to have a wonderful stay. It was the ideal location to help our children learn to ski. Within minutes of walking out our front door we had rented our equipment and were on the slope! The excellent location and amenities allowed us to get the most out of our recreation and relaxation time. The surrounding area has something for the whole family and everyone will be comfortable in this beautiful condo.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
