Our family of six loved everything about Tara! The home itself is open and airy, clean and well decorated. It’s located within a very short walk of almost everything on Tybee Island - the beach, the back river pier, restaurants, shops! This was our first trip to Tybee Island and we fell in love with it. We will definitely come back and will definitely stay at Little Tara when we do.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I own the home just one house away from this one, on the same street. Tybee Island Joy dot com located at 1509 Lovell Ave, and I do have to say, that I'm proud to offer this home whenever we have family and friends in town. Little Tara dot come is clean, spacious, and relaxing. The Master Bedroom is huge with a walk in closet the size of some Children's rooms, and the other two bedrooms are large and the two upstairs bathrooms are big, with a charming hall bath downstairs. We wanted a beach town that was quiet and family friendly. We wanted lots of bike riding and walking places. And we wanted a non resort feel. Rather we wanted something like 'The Hamptons in the '50's.' That's what Tybee Island is like.
