No other Borrego property can compare with the spacious feel of this resort-like hacienda that has a 3 bedroom/3 bath main residence and separate 2 bedroom/2 bath casita. (For smaller groups, the main residence alone may be reserved for up to 6 people and at lower pricing).
The main residence has extensive vaulted ceilings, king-sized beds, a fully equipped kitchen with island, adjoining den with an audio/video entertainment area, a formal dining room that seats 12, a vast living room with an audio/video entertainment area and billiard table, a dedicated quiet study, and a large laundry room. The casita is virtually independent of the main house, with rooms equipped like those of a luxury resort. The vast garage accommodates 4 vehicles!
You enter through an ageless, heavy wooden gate to begin your dream vacation. Situated on acres of native Sonoran desert landscape, this is a grand hacienda of estate proportions, with peach stucco walls, a clay tile roof, wrought iron sconces, soaring ceilings and an enormous fireplace in the great room. Quality furnishings throughout offer a range of styles that will please any taste. This home offers luxurious amenities and many opportunities for a relaxed vacation or a working vacation, including broadband Wi-Fi internet, big screen TV's, Blue-Ray DVD players, desert movie DVD library, surround sound systems with iPod docking, music CD selections, wine captain, 8-foot billiard table, board games and books.
Step outside to the 12 foot deep shaded veranda running the length of the hacienda and casita. Look out to a sun washed, walled courtyard bordered by citrus trees, palm trees and colorful desert plants. The centerpiece of this courtyard is the heated spa and sparkling pool (heating optional). You’ll enjoy amazing 360 degree views of the San Ysidro and Santa Rosa Mountain ranges that frame the Borrego Valley. You can toast skewered marshmellows over mesquite coals in the large fire pit. And you can watch sunrises over Fonts Point and sunsets over Indian Head Mountain.

We are Ph.D. biologists who were born, raised and educated in southern California, where we currently live. We have been visiting Anza-Borrego Desert State Park and Borrego Springs since 1977 and have fallen in love with this wild place, its geology, biology, weather and people.
