C-JA's Hideaway is located on the St. Joseph's Bay Peninsula, with the Gulf of Mexico on one side and St. Joseph's Bay on the other. Located in the Barrier Dunes gated community with private beach access, this two bedroom townhouse is nicely decorated, and extremely clean and well maintained.

A short stroll down the boardwalk will lead you to the sugary sands, rated the #1 beach in the nation by Dr. Stephen Leatherman (aka "Dr. Beach"). This is not your typical tourist packed beach. Actually, there are few beaches in the country this sparsely populated, and relaxing. It is common to see dolphins frolicking near shore, as you wander along picking up sea shells, or build castles in the sand. The beautiful emerald-green waters, sparkling white sand, and some of the most awe-inspiring sunsets you'll ever experience, will have you wanting to come back again and again.

This is a perfect family retreat, offering not only warm sand and beckoning waves, but also two salt-water swimming pools, two stocked fishing ponds and lighted tennis courts, all within the Barrier Dunes community. The St. Joseph's Bay Country Club is only 15 minutes away, offering a challenging and scenic experience for visiting golfers.

Barrier Dunes is located right next door to St. Joe Bay State Park, with beautiful hiking trails along the bay and outstanding bird watching (Keep an eye out for the Bald Eagle). St. Joe Bay offers a wealth of activities including boating, kayaking, snorkeling, fishing and some of the best scalloping in the Gulf. You can rent bicycles nearby, go horseback riding on the beach, or charter an off shore fishing trip, all just minutes from C-JA's Hideaway.

C-JA's offers three balconies, with gorgeous views of the ponds (you can fish off the balcony!). Two bedrooms with queen size beds and private baths, and a roll-away, comfortably sleeps six; cable TV, DVD & VCR players in each bedroom. The fully stocked kitchen has an ice maker, microwave, dishwasher, all small appliances and a host of other amenities. Linens are provided, and you have a washer and dryer as well. We have high speed internet hook up, and a library of movies. All that is missing from this picture is you! So come on. Its time to escape, to the Cape!

  • We have stayed at this condo several times & have always found it to be more than comfortable. It is always clean & well-maintained. It is perfect if you want the total get-away that will afford you peace and tranquility.

  • You can't beat C-Ja's for cleanliness, comfort and amenities, yet just outside this pristine condo you'll find the most tranquil, beautiful, extensive beaches and natural hiking areas anywhere. Not for those looking for touristy excitment; but if you love ocean, sand, nature and tranquil vistas this is the place to be!
