2 bedroom and 2 baths that will sleep 8 comfortably in beds provided. Also a pack n play and a queen sized blow up bed provided also. This is a stand alone house with a back and front yard, front porch and back deck. Direct TV provided with 150 channels including local ones. Large library of good books, videos, games, provided for your enjoyment. Utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses included. Bring your own towels and linens and personal items. Everything else is already here.
We are just three blocks from the public boat access ramp so bring your boat. Room to park it next to the house. House is modern and recently upgraded. Cosy and comfortable. quiet neighborhood. Family beach. Within walking distance to the beach or park in the public access areas provided by the town. Near restaurants, shops, grocery store, post office, library and more.
This is the perfect place for a relaxing week or month at the beach. Sorry no pets. No fraternity parties or sorority parties. No smoking.

Why the Owner Chose Oak Island
We are keeping this house so that we can have family time at the beach. We hope that all of our guests will feel as cosy as we do here.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our house is three blocks from the public boat ramp for those who bring their boats. We are close to public parks and walking trails. We are within walking distance to the ocean front and the beach as well as near public access parking. We are right in the center of the town near restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. There is/has been no smoking in our house. It has been totally renovated inside this past year and has new green appliances inside. We are only a few feet from the Inland Waterway. We are five minutes from the 2 fishing piers. Ten minutes to Southport. 30 minutes to Wilmington. 60 minutes to Myrtle Beach SC. We are only 20 minutes from 30 golf courses. Enjoy kayaking, boating, swimming, biking, fishing, movies, fitness centers, museums, antiques, seafood.

We used to live in the house next door (30 years) and rent this one out to the US Coast Guard. We have since moved to Florida. We visit on holidays and in summer to see our grandson. There is nothing like summer on Oak Island. It is a family beach where we always feel at home. We are retired now but we used to operate (and still own) the shopping center on the island. We currently rent the buildings to various businesses. My husband is a retired Marine Engineer who spent much of his career in the Merchant Marines. I am a writer. We have put our personal items and touch on the property to make you feel at home.
