We had a great vacation! The weather was sunny almost all week, only two cloudy/rainy days but we managed just fine with some biking, shopping and a movie. The boys loved the beach and it was so nice to have such a short walk there (and a wagon to carry everything). They spent a lot of time catching minnows and crabs with their nets, and swimming of course. The water was warm and we even got some good waves on one of the windy days. We took your suggestions of going to Cloud 9 one morning, to the Chatham Bars Inn one night for drinks/appetizers, and to the Corner Store -- all were great. With so many options of things to do, places to eat, etc., it's nice to get suggestions from someone who really knows the area. Your home had everything we needed and was so nicely decorated, bright, and cheery. (Our boys loved the bunk beds too.) We will definitely be in touch for our next Cape vacation.

Just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful stay in your house. Everything was perfect. Loved the wagon and the short distance to the beach. Made everything a lot easier with a 3 year old and all the beach gear. We were fortunate to have great weather and we were able to go to the beach 5 of the 6 days. We did a lot of your recommendations and also enjoyed Marion's Pie shop, and the Breakfast at Hangar B was wonderful!! The house was very clean. Again thank you very much for sharing the house with us. Loved the decor, set-up, and location. All of us LOVED the outdoor shower and used it as our main shower - a great idea for keeping sand out of the house.

This is a lovely home which is beautifully situated. Easy walking distance to the beach which has a handy little snack bar and great bike rides in the surrounding neighborhood. The house is lovely and nicely equipped with everything you need for a stay at the beach. It has a nice yard for the kids to enjoy/explore and is situated on a small hill on a very quiet road across from a marsh, very private. It is also a very quick car ride to lots of Cape Cod activities. We would highly recommend this house.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We came all the way from Germany, and your house was perfect for us. Chatham is a dream, in the middle of Cape Cod - the perfect location for many excursions. We went to Nantucket and to Provincetown but still Chatham is the most wonderful place. You have all what you need and we just enjoyed being at home and relaxed. We cooked with the children, we enjoyed the deck and the barbecue and I could do all the washing for the whole family for our stay. All was perfect. Thank you.

Just returned from a 2 week stay and so glad that we chose this property to rent, having spent a long time researching the various websites. For us, this place was perfect, with everything we needed for a 17 month old (i.e. high chair and pack and play) and also enough space so that for our, unfortunate /unusual rainy days, we weren`t all on top of each other. We ate in every night and found the kitchen and also BBQ more than adequate for our needs. Very close to a great beach for children of all ages, Marion`s pie shop (yummy blueberry pie) at top of the road and main town centre just a short drive. We are definitely contemplating returning next year.

Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We had a fantastic holiday; thank you. The beach house was in a beautiful spot and allowed us to chose between sailing or hunting for crabs at Ridgevale or travelling a bit further to Nauset beach for the fantasic waves. We spent a morning on a deep sea fishing trip and were lucky enough not just to catch lots of fish - sea bass and cod - but to be amongst a group of whales which was an amazing experience. The house was great with no problems and everything was easy to use. The outside shower meant it was very easy to keep inside clean. Many thanks again for a fantastic holiday, we hope to return again one day.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the house once again. It is so much better to stay in your house than some of the pure rentals. You take such good care of it and it is so quaint and clean - just what we want and need. Everything was great once again. We would love to return next summer. Thanks for everything!!!

One of our best holidays ever. The house is lovely and very nicely decorated. Location is ideal ... our 2 year old had a wonderful holiday. He had a trip to the beach everyday... Being so close to Ridgevale beach (a wonderful family and child friendly beach) was definitely a bonus. Chatham itself is very quaint... Marion's Pie Shop, conveniently located at the top of the hill, is certainly worth a visit ... We found Cape Cod both picturesque and friendly and would definitely consider coming back again. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to spend such a lovely week at your home, we've had a wonderful holiday and will recommend to our friends . . . -- We had such a great time here! It was the perfect mix of activity and relaxation. This is a perfect Cape cottage - beautifully appointed. One of our best getaways to the Cape ever. -- This house is very tastefully decorated and renovated. It was absolutely perfect for us. -- Beautiful house with great surroundings...local food was fantastic...definitely a great place...it was very clean and comfortable...great choice for our honeymoon, would definitely come again . . . -- We had such a nice time on our vacation that I didn't want to go home. I still wish I was there. Another week would have been perfect! The location of your home is ideal--close to town, but even closer to the beach. We were at the beach usually twice a day. If we forgot something, it was no trouble to head back. Our girls loved the boogie boards! -- You have a very lovely home and we truly enjoyed our stay. It was an excellent vacation--no worries, no plans, great food, simple fun. Thank you, again, for sharing your home w/us.
