Our North Lake Tahoe 3 BR 2 BA Single Family Home backs to National Forest with hiking, biking, jogging and peaceful relaxation in the forest right out the back door. Our home has a very comfortable living room, with Cable TV, DVD player, WiFi service, Stereo and wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave, electric coffee maker and more. A large dining room adjacent to the kitchen seats up to 12 persons. Our home comfortably sleeps 8 with Queen beds in two bedrooms and a Full and two Twins in the third bedroom. Our home is comfortably furnished, and includes bed and bath linens. A washer and dryer are provided for your convenience.
We are located 1 mile north of the lake, and 2 blocks off of Hwy 267. An access point to the Tahoe Rim Trail and to the North Shore of Lake Tahoe with sandy beaches and an array of water sports, including boat rentals, parasailing, boat launch facilities and more, are 5 minutes away. A 19 hole golf course, up-scale shopping, restaurants, and a large Super Safeway market is 1 mile from our home. The area is a haven for mountain bike riding including an opportunity to take the Northstar lift up the mountain and ride your bike down the hill. During the winter months you are 10 minutes from Northstar Ski area and an easy drive to 5 more ski resorts. our home backs to the forest and accomodates cross country skiing right out the back door.

We love Lake Tahoe for all of the peace and beauty nature provides. As 30 year part time residents of Lake Tahoe, we have explored the west and north shore of the lake, extensively. We are grandparents and great grandparents of 10 beautiful children and still love to hike, ride bicycles, cross county ski and show shoe in the 4 distinct seasons at Lake Tahoe.
Why the Owner Chose Kings Beach
We enjoy the area our home is located because it backs to the National Forest, with off highway walking, jogging, bicycling, cross country skiing and snow shoeing on miles of trails into the adjacent Regional Park. Our home is very comfy and homey, with very nice but not extravagant furnishings, making it easy to relax while our grandchildren play in our home or on the outside deck open to the forest.
The Unique Benefits of this House
It is a unique pleasure to be in a location where homes are generously spaced apart, without fences, to give a feeling of being in the wilderness, while we are only a 5 minute drive to a Super Safeway, Starbucks, great restaurants, the Tahoe Rim Trail, beautifully developed sandy beaches, 10 minutes to Northstar World Class Ski Resort and a short drive to 4 other great ski resorts, including Mt Rose, Squaw and Alpine Meadows.
