Our newly remodeled and charming hide-away in the quiet residential section of the French Quarter is cozy and welcoming. And it's a wonderful place to call home while you explore New Orleans! Our Condo has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a living room with queen sleeper sofa if needed, and small kitchen. The exposed brick walls and fireplace (non-working) lend a historic feel to the suite. It offers the privacy and quiet to guests looking for a charming place to become a part of the life of New Orleans.

Located in a very safe and secure area of the French Quarter, it is on the 2nd floor with its own balcony overlooking the lush private courtyard. Both the Balcony and Courtyard are yours to enjoy while you stay. We're 1 block from Royal street for shopping, 2 blocks from Bourbon Street, and only steps away from dozens of great restaurants and neighborhood bars. The French Quarter is "made for walking." The blocks are small and compact. 2 Blocks to Decatur Street and the French Market. 4 blocks to Jackson Square and the Cathedral. There is so much to see and do and you can walk to Pat O'Brien's, Cafe du Monde, or Bourbon Street. Our little escape is a great place and we hope you'll enjoy the "City That Care Forgot."

Located two streets away from Bourbon, and 4 Streets over from St. Ann, within a 5-7 minute walk you can be at OZ, Bourbon Pub and Parade, Good Friends, Rawhide, Napoleon's Itch, The Clover Grill, and Lafitte's in Exile. Close to several small grocery stores and liquor stores too! And 4 buildings away is Le Richelou Hotel, which has a very wonderful patio bar and restaurant.

Start your day in the Courtyard with Mimosa's, coffee, or beignets. Enjoy leisurely walking the Quarter, a Steamboat Ride on the River, and cocktails on the balcony before dancing the night away on Bourbon Street or listening to some of the country's best Jazz Musicians at clubs within blocks of the unit. The City is one of America's Jewels and can be your for exploring and falling in love with. Don't blame us when you want to return to her again and again and again!

No Pets, No Smoking. Coin operated washer and dryer available on the property. Secure gated entrance prevents unauthorized access onto the property. Parking is available in the French Market Lot, where you can park and walk a short 2 blocks back and forth from the unit to your car.

Year Purchased: 2009

We are a group of friends who love New Orleans and love going to New Orleans so much that we bought a condo in the French Quarter! We are not able to go more than 2-3 times a year each, but wanted to be a part of this Great City. So we looked and shopped for almost 2 years before taking the plunge to become Vieux Carre property owners. We don't regret this decision and will use the unit as much as we can.

The Unique Benefits of this Condominium

The restaurants within walking distance. The great Jazz Clubs. The history, the museums, the art. New Orleans is just such a great city!

    • We absolutely loved this place! My husband and I were there to celebrate my 55th birthday! Everything we could have wished for and more! As promised the condo is in a prime location in the French Quarter, yet very quiet, tucked in the back by a beautiful courtyard, which we had to ourselves while there. Close to everything, yet, perfect place to relax and recharge after a busy day/night of siteseeing and dancing. Condo is fully equipped, clean and cozy. Owners quick to respond to any questions that I had. Easy, secure parking nearby. We were sad to leave this special find, but will definitely be back, hopefully soon!
