There's also an abundance of water-sports activities including chartered fishing boats, jet-ski rentals, and parasailing. Many golf courses nearby. Orlando area theme parks/attractions only 1.5 hours drive - Daytona Beach 45 minutes.

As soon as you open the door to this lovely condo, you're drawn to the balcony and the fabulous view! If we were at the condo, we were on the balcony! Pub style table and chairs make for a very comfortable area to get the full view. You have all the comforts of home. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds are very comfortable, the washer/dryer is quite handy and there are even some pool toys in the closet! Really the only thing you need to bring to this condo is your swimming suit and beach towel. We have stayed at this resort over the last 20 years and feel blessed that we found this particular condo. This was our third or fourth stay here and we've sent friends there too! (they also loved it) It's obviously the best cono there! The resort is ocean front, has three beautiful pools, two jacuzzi's and a work out room which looks nice but i have yet to partake! I have no idea how many spectacular sunrise pictures I have because it is so easy to jump out of bed onto the balcony and start snapping! No longer have to get down to the beach for pictures. St. Augustine is a great town with many things to do and the restaurants.....Oh my! The horse drawn carraiges on the bayfront are wonderful! St George Street is a fun place to meander and shop, eat drink or people watch! Like I said, we've been going there over 20 years and can't wait until next year! You'll really miss out if you don't choose this condo ! (Hope you don't pick my week! lol) The best town, the best beach and hands down the best condo! Have fun!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Just returned from 6 days at this unit. The location was absolutely perfect -- right on the beach in a relatively quiet resort -- about 15 minutes from Saint Augustine. The beach could not have been better. Wide (except at high tide), soft sand, not too crowded, clean, easy to walk or run on (very few jagged shells to worry about stepping on). The ocean was very calm the first few days, but the kids enjoyed larger waves later in the week. Rob was a terrific host. Upon request, he provided restaurant recommendations all of which turned out to be great. The beds in the unit were very comfortable. We didn't eat many meals in, but the kitchen had everything we needed. Despite it being the week before Easter, the pool we used was never crowded and there were plenty of lounge chairs. We couldn't get the resort's wireless access working, but the DSL connection in the unit was reliable and fast. The unit's balcony was wonderful -- very large with five very comfortable chairs and tables for eating. It had a nice breeze and was shaded from direct sunlight except early in the morning. Grocery stores were less than a mile away. A1A is the main road in front of the complex and there was seldom any traffic on it. It has a sidewalk for running or walking, but there isn't much nearby to walk to.Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.
