This was our 1st private rental and we were a little nervous. But Alexandra & Poco were very accommodating. They even mailed us the keys as our flight arrival was 3:00am. The apartment was the perfect size for my husband and I. Most importantly it was CLEAN! They even took time to text us recommendations of places to eat and explore. Restaurants are close and the beach (not crowded) was a short walk down the street. Everything you need to enjoy the beach is in the closet(chairs, cooler, games...) Old San Juan is only a 15 min drive or bus ride. This is a great stay if you are looking to save money (to spend on enjoying the island). Finally Alexandra made us feel like we could contact them for anything...they were only a call or text away. We WOULD certainly stay here again!

This is a comfortable apartment, nothing fancy, but has everything that is needed. the bed is comfortable, lots of hot water, an easy kitchen, washer, dryer, elevator, beach chairs. A short walk to the beach. And a short cab or bus ride to old San Juan or central Condado restaurants. Alex and Paco are terrific hosts, generous with time and help, non-interfering but always available for questions and advice. We hope to visit San Juan again, and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere but Alex and Paco's place. Many thanks!

This is a well-situated apartment in the Condado district of San Juan, with parking space, easy access to transportation, close to a major supermarket, and a five-minute walk to the beautiful and uncrowded beach and to Condado restaurants. The apartment is large, very clean, with appliances in a good-sized kitchen. The owners couldn't be nicer, very friendly and helpful. They take a personal interest in your needs. I would definitely recommend this place to a relative or good friend. I hope to stay there again on another trip. It's a excellent choice and a good value.

We enjoyed our stay in Alexandra's apartment. The location was great, close to the beach and a variety of restaurants and activities in Condado. The apartment was spacious, clean and functional - we were pleased to have a full-size equipped kitchen and wireless Internet access. Beach chairs, towels and a small cooler were also included and we took advantage of them! Alexandra was very professional and easy to work with.

Good rental

Traveled to PR for the second time, this is the 3rd property I have rented in PR. The pictures are very accurate. The apartment location was great and having parking was wonderful. The apartment was clean. Paco and Alexandra were very nice and easy to communicate with. The rental process was very easy. I travel with my family a lot and rely on reviews before renting, so I would only want to be honest. The furniture is run down. There is the futon/couch you see in the picture but it is covered in stains. My teenager wouldn't sit on it without it being covered with a clean sheet. The actual bed is pretty uncomfortable. There is a broken rocking chair in the living room. Other than the chairs at the table there isn't anywhere other than the futon/couch to sit. Having said that though, I would still rent this apartment again if I were in the area. It is just showing some wear and tear that probably should be addressed.

We take great pride at exceeding our guest expectations and where unaware that the cleaning crew had taken the futon cover to be professionally dry cleaned. The condominium is in a great location, near lot of restaurants, entertainment, and of course, 1 block from the beach. Alexandra is really easy to work with, and Paco met us at the airport to take us to our rental car location, explained everything we needed to know and was genuinely friendly and accommodating! We will not hesitate to stay in San Juan at Alexandra's apartment again!

This condo was exactly as advertised. Great location directly up from the beach and easy walk to Ashford Ave shops/restaurants. You get exactly what you expect and more than you paid for! Don't expect a great view but the condo has all you need and is very comfortable. What you do get are fantastic hosts. I can't say enough about how helpful they were from prompt email response,to meeting us and helping get us settled to even helping retrieve a favorite shirt a couple of weeks later! We would definitely stay again

Convenient location - Amazing Owner

The nightly rate will tell you this isn't the Ritz, but what it is, is more than worth the price. Alexandra & Paco have provided everything you will need, from an iron & ironing board to bathroom needs, extremely comfortable beach chairs, beach towels, DVD player, full kitchen etc. as well as suggested places to go to & eat at. I did not get the Paco tour which turned out to be a good thing as it made me do a lot of walking to familiarize myself with the Condado area. I would recommend Miso (opposite the Marriot) about a 15 minute walk to the west on Ashford - try the seafood paella; and Niche' in the Arcacia Inn just down the street towards the beach, great scallops and filet. There's one bedroom, but extra mattresses behind the headboard if additional people are with a couple, also the couch in the living room converts to a bed. Here's what a sweetheart Alex is - I spent 3 days at this condo then headed to Rio Grande for 2 nights (rainforest) - I had almost a day to kill on the return trip to the airport and I e-mailed her and asked if I could use the parking space at the condo for some beach time if the condo wasn't rented - she got back to me and said I could use the space and that she would meet me anywhere I wanted and let me use the condo to shower up after the beach - you cannot beat this type of generosity. My wife and I ended up shopping the day away and never took her up on her gracious offer. Couple other observations on my part - I would skip Bebo's and Yiyo's (next door) - their service is terrible. Our first 2 nights on the Island were spent on Shack's Beach outside of Isabela - very good snorkeling and much calmer surf than San Juan.

Location, location, location

Our stay at Alexandra's condo was just perfect. The location was a two minute walk straight to the beautiful beach, which was very safe, as well as a three block walk to what we found to be an Excellent Restaurant called "Bebo's". Being of Puerto Rican descent, we know Puerto Rican food and Bebo's is the place to eat. The casino's (Marriot's and La Concha) are a 15 minute drive, with traffic, and you should park in the parking lot above the street where there's a Fuddruckers Restaurant on Ashford Street. It's $5.00 to park in the evening and then walk to the many shops and restaurants along Ashford. If your renting a car, take the 50 or so minute drive to "El Guavate", where that small town offers great food and small stores to buy souveniors. Go during daytime and after eating, you can dance the pounds off as we did, in a dance area next to the food area. Condo was big enough for my wife and I and her parents, who got the bedroom, and the futon in livingroom was comfortable for my wife and I, after getting in from the nightlife. Try YiYo's for breakfast, which is just around corner from condo. I will be renting the apartment again later this year, so make your reservations soon. Perfect Location!

My husband and I stayed here with our two young adult daughters and it was a perfect place and location for us. Just up the street from the beach and easy commute to Old San Juan. Paco provided a most welcoming experience and was very helpful in showing us the highlights and making recommendations for sightseeing and dining. We can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our stay so much last year that we returned for a longer visit this year. Thanks to alexandra's suggestions we visited Culebra island, and toured all over Puerto Rico. We went to Rincon to watch surfers and check out beaches. We golfed outside of San Juan and toured the south towards Ponce. The condo was a perfect base to explore San Juan and beyond. We just love this area and hope to return.

Great Value and convenient location!

Alexandra made our stay effortless and has lots of little extras to offer guests.. I noticed that she even went so far to have little toys for tiny travellers! We packed up the back pack beach chairs and headed straight down the street to the local beautiful beach.. Convenient store right next to condo that has "adult" beverage and all things you can imagine and grocery was a short walk down the street. Also a great quaint coffee shop within minutes. We took advantage of the location and went down to the Marriott and local restaurants that were an easy walk. The condo itself is comfortable and well maintained and boasts a washer and dryer! We enjoyed it and would consider staying there again. Very clean!

I was in the Condado area for a family wedding. The condo is conveniently located to some great spots. Breakfast was awesome at Kesalta Bakery which is a short walk from the condo. Also Bebo's cafe for lunch or dinner was also tasty and literally steps away. The condo was very clean and comfortable. It actually felt like a summer home away from home. Alexandra was very friendly and welcoming and went out of her way to accomodate us. We would definitely be back!

The condo was comfortable and as described in the listing. Condado was a very safe area and we felt perfectly comfortable walking back and forth (just 1 1/2 short blocks!) to the beach at night. The location truly is impeccable and within walking distance to both a 24 hour grocery story and many good restaurants. When we arrived, Paco provided us with a driving tour of the Condado area to orient us to the surroundings. He was very kind and we were highly impressed with the additional, above and beyond hospitality. We would absolutely stay at this condo again due to the location and personability of the owners.

First, I'll begin with the prompt reply when I inquired whether the apartment would be available for our stay. Alexandra was great! She replied within the hour and was very attentive, friendly and courteous, and which was very plesant. She made the whole reservation process go very smoothly. We initially reserved the apartment for 4 nights since the last two nights were not available, but to our luck the next guests canceled their reservation and we didn't hesitate to request to stay the remaining nights. The apartment is exactly how the pictures show it to be. It's very comfortable and cozy and the free parking space is an undeniable convenient bonus! There is a yellow folder underneath the tv in the stand with a loads of information and menus to restaurants, which I read through one morning while having breakfast and I thought it was very informative and thorough. The apartment is literally a block and a half from the beach which is clean, beautiful and safe! It is also perfectly located between Isla Verde and San Juan and two blocks from the supermarket (which also serves some awesome breakfast and lunch by the way) and easily accessible to the expressway. The main cross street where the apartment is located is Calle Loiza and whatever you could possibly need, you will have no problem finding along that street. The air conditioner in the bedroom stopped working when we arrived at the apartment late on the second night and I let Alexandra know about it the following morning and went out. When we arrived back later that night, it had been completely replaced with a new air conditioner. Talk about fast! All in all, this was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in and we intend to go back again with our children. If you want a comfortable place to stay in the middle of all the action, without having to go broke on your vacation, this is the place! It feels like being home away from home. Don't overlook it. I will not hesitate to recommend this apartment rental over and over again. Thank you Alexandra and Paco for being so accommodating during our stay!

It's Vacation

My cousin and I chose to stay in Puerto Rico instead of Miami for the Memorial Day weekend. What a great choice! Paco was such a great host. The condo was true to the pictures shown. It had everything necessary for our stay. It had a full kitchen, dining area, a convertible bed that can fit two people in the living room (it is so comfortable) and a queen bed in the bed room. Once we arrived to the condo, Paco gave us his ‘five minutes tour‘ which is an understatement. We drove to Old San Juan and the main attractions which are on Ashford Avenue. There is a grocery store nearby. The beach is a block away (look in the closet for the chairs). There is a yoga studio not too far called It’s Yoga. Every recommendation for a restaurant was a hit with both of us. We recommend the following: Pinky’s for breakfast (located by Uno’s). We left the menu at the condo. Latin Star for local cuisine/dishes. The Sangria is a must. Postino. The tortellini dish can feed two people. Nice ambience. Caficulture (Old San Juan). You must try the French toast with pineapple marmalade. Haagen Dazs. My cousin had to have her daily dose of ice cream. Danny’s Pizza It was truly a vacation. I would recommend. We stayed here for 8 days. It was amazing! Paco and Alexandra are amazing hosts; Paco took me on a five minute tour when I first arrived and showed me some great restaurants, which was so helpful. 5 minute walk to the beach which is fantastic. Condado beach is much much nicer to swim in than the others around San Juan. Also, the sand is doesn't stick to you and much easier to get off your body, clothes and shoes. When I go back to Puerto Rico, which I will, I will definitely stay again. Amazing.

Paco and Alexandra were so sweet and extremely helpful to us during our stay. Paco picked us up from the airport and gave us a small tour of the neighborhood to let us know where the good spots were and also where not to venture to. The apartment exceeded what we expected. It was perfect and way better than a hotel would have been. I will definitely keep them in mind on my next trip to PR. :)

Great Place and Location in Condado Beach

I had the opportunity to stay for 9 nights. What a nice setup. We took full advantage of the full kitchen and 24hr grocery store a few blocks away making some breakfasts and dinners. We did have a car and it was nice having an assigned parking space. The apartment is 1 block from the beach and not far from many restaurants. We purchased a Puerto Rico entertainment book for 2011. We left the book and card for any future guests. The book is good until Nov. 2011. It was also very nice to have a washer and dryer in the apartment. The wifi was fast and there were a good amount of stations on the cable tv. You will not be disapointed at all. Alexandra was great and we hope to schedule another stay sometime. The last Sunday of the month is the Heiniken Free Jazz festival, the Radisson Casino had live entertainment and another close by restaurant had live entertainment on Monday nights. There was a great restaurant nearby that I believe was called Anthony's. They accept the entertainment card and did not punch the card. You will have fun.

Fantastic Vacation

We stayed in Alexandra and Paco's condo from January 18-25 and fell in love with the area. The condo was so convenient for going to the beach, shopping, dining out, or for just taking a neighborhood stroll. Both Alexandra and Paco were so personable and gave us so much useful information which made our stay even more enjoyable. The condo itself was roomy, completely furnished with all the essentials, and spotlessly clean. It was a joy to throw on our bathing suits and be at the beach in minutes. The beach was safe and beautiful. We so enjoyed eating at the local eateries instead of chain restaurants. All the people we met were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. This was probably our best vacation ever and we can't wait for a return visit next year.

We had a wonderful experience renting for 3 days! Everything was exactly as advertised or better! Alexandra was prompt to respond, incredibly helpful with recommendations and went above and beyond by arranging to have a bottle of wine and champagne available at the apartment for me to celebrate with my girlfriend when we arrived. Paco gave us a very helpful tour of the neighborhood, and was happy to give us advice and info via text message during our stay.

Lovely Place to stay

We absolutely loved the condo! It was clean, comfortable and very tastefully done, having a washer and dryer in the house is great especially for days when you hit the beach. Free parking spot is a plus as well! The location is really convenient - a hop, skip,jump away from the beach, a quick drive into Old San Juan and the airport & other points of interest aren't too far either. Lots of nice places to eat on Ashford Ave. Alexandra and Paco were extremely accommodating and helpful from the get-go, and had great suggestions. Paco gave my husband a quick tour of the area when we got there which was much appreciated. We would absolutely come back and stay here again the next time we visit Puerto Rico! I stayed at this adorable Ocean Park/Condado apartment with 3 girlfriends for 2 nights. First of all, Alexandra and Paco were incredibly accommodating and wonderful to work with. They gave us helpful tips and suggested various restaurants and activities to try. Everything they suggested turned out to be right on target! The apartment looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The only difference is that rather than a couch in the living room, there is now a comfy futon. It was really the perfect end to our week long trip to Puerto Rico - Old San Juan was just a quick taxi ride away, the beach was literally down the block, and there were plenty of yummy restaurants (Bebo's, Pinkys, and Delicious to name a few) and cute boutiques (Glam) walking distance away. I highly recommend staying at this fantastic little apartment-- I definitely plan to return. You will not be disappointed!

Great place to stay , excellent value for the location! Close by to many attractions, including Old San Juan, a variety of shops, and fabulous restaurants. Not far from the airport. Only one block from the beach. Alexandra is a great hostess, and available to answer any questions and solve any problems you may encounter during your stay. We had the best time, and really enjoyed the stay at this property. We are actually thinking about returning for Christmas season! I definitely recommend this property to anyone considering a trip to San Juan.

Great Vacation Condo

My wife and I spent 4 nights here and had a great time. The location was excellent, the condo is 5 minute walk to a very nice large beach, 15 minute walk to the main Condado strip area. Several restaurants and a grocery store are all within walking distance as well. It is also very convenient to Old Town San Juan(10 minute by car) and El Yunque Rain Forest(45 minutes by car). The condo provides free internet and a free parking space. Overall I would recommend this location to anyone and would stay here on return to Puerto Rico.

We had the pleasure of staying in Alexandra's condo as part of our trip to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. We can not say enough about how wonderful the experience was to stay at her condo. From our first correspondence with her and the fact that there is an actual map available of the location of the condo in the Condado area, to the extensive information she provided for our comfort, recommendations for good eats in the area and further exploration of the island, and the beach accoutremont available for our use, we could not have asked for more comfortable accommodations. The walk to the beach was only a block and a half away, and it was a quiet beach that wasn't crowded by tourists. There were two amazing Puerto Rican restaurants (Yiyo's and Bebos), within just blocks of the condo. It was in a terrific central location, and made getting around super easy. Alexandra - thank you so much for a wonderful stay, for my family and me, and we can not wait to go back to Puerto Rico for a visit again!

I rent this apt. for 5 days & I just left from it 3 days ago,,,,it was more than amazing to me especially all these fasias inside the apt.,,, its took me to another world ...world let me feel that I'm still human after long time of hard work.its not close to the beach only, but its simply close to everything, starting from the markets,hotels, bars, till the airport.I will visit Puerto Rico again in the next Dce. & I will consider myself more than lucky to got this apt. againfinally,,, I would like to wish all the best to the owners,,, they was helpful to me even more than anybody else I meet in Puerto Rico.

From our first correspondence with her and the fact that there is an actual map available of the location of the condo in the Condado area, to the extensive information she provided for our comfort, recommendations for good eats in the area and further exploration of the island, and the beach accoutremont available for our use, we could not have asked for more comfortable accommodations. The walk to the beach was only a block and a half away, and it was a quiet beach that wasn't crowded by tourists. There were two amazing Puerto Rican restaurants (Yiyo's and Bebos), within just blocks of the condo. It was in a terrific central location, and made getting around super easy. Alexandra - thank you so much for a wonderful stay, for my family and me, and we can not wait to go back to Puerto Rico for a visit again!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My 2 friends and I went to Puerto Rico to relax on the beach for a few days. From this cute 1 bedroom apartment we were able to walk less then 2 blocks to the beautiful Condado beach. It was also a quick walk to the grocery store. The kitchen is full-size and has all the utensils should you decide to cook. However if you want to dine out there are great restaurants on Ashford Avenue which is upscale and a 10-15 minute walk.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

We stayed at this property for 4 nights and thought the location could not be beat. We didn't rent a car, nor did we need to. The apartment was a block and a half from a great beach, a short walk to many restaurants and stores in Condado (including a big, fully-stocked supermarket), and a short bus ride to Old San Juan. On the day of our stay when it rained, we discovered that we were also a short walk to the Museo de Arte de San Juan and spent our morning there. We absolutely loved San Juan. The apartment was a great place to relax and freshen up. It feels very homey and had everything that we could've wanted, including beach chairs, umbrellas (both rain and beach!), and beach towels. We would definitely recommend this property to someone who wanted to be close to everything but not stay in an enormous hotel.

We stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks in February 2010 and really enjoyed our stay. The apt is fully equipped (WLAN - bring your laptop - ...cyber cafés are expensive in San Juan...), there's a free parking space (which was perfect as we had rented a car) and it's only a 3-minutes walk from a nice beach! Supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, gas station, ... everything is nearby. We can definitely recommend this place and will be happy to rent it again next time we come to Puerto Rico!

We had a great time staying in this apartment. It was in a great location, close to the beach and other amenities. Alexandra stocked the apartment perfectly to include extra beach towels, and personal hygene stuff. Laundry was a big plus, as was the airconditioning. The accomodations fit exactly our needs with a very reasonable rate. Would definetly stay here again. Especially with a property owner as professional and courteous as Alexandra.

What we liked most about our visit to Puerto Rico was that everywhere we went we found people more than helpful and pleasant - really a wonderful thing to experience. We came with the kids (5 & 8 yr old) The apt was perfect, we really felt like we could move here at anytime. The beach is less than 3 minute walk and has shaded areas, so we could spend the full day there with the kids or come back and forth. We thought the apt was even nicer than the pictures, it has such good energy! Alexandra and Paco are very hospitable and easy to work with! WILL SEND ALL OUR FRIENDS OVER

The apartment was perfect for our short visit to San Juan! The apartment actually matched the photos on the website, which we were quite pleased to see and there's a folder full of great information that helped make our stay most comfortable. Great value! Good experience!

We stayed in San Juan for three days prior to our cruise. We loved San Juan, the condo in Condado is in a perfect location. It is just minutes from a great beach, we were able to walk to all of the fabulous restaurants and shopping. Old San Juan is a short taxi ride away. Alexandra and Paco were helpful and made our stay very pleasant and interesting.

We stayed here for 3 nights in Dec. 2009. The apartment was perfect for our needs and plans. We had a car and there is private parking. The apartment is conveniently located to many popular spots including Old San Juan (10 minute drive), Condado, Ocean Park. Walk a block to a gorgeous beach. Could walk to grocery stores and restaurants. The apartment is clean, well equipped and everything in working order. The owners are friendly, accessible, helpful and easy to work with.

We stayed at this very well-located apartment for a month during February 2009. Shopping and buslines are nearby, and the beach is a couple of blocks away. The apartment is comfortable, and the owners very helpful. We can recommend this as a good choice for your vacation stay in San Juan. Have fun and enjoy!

We stayed in this cozy apartment for three nights. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were steps away from the beach and from nice areas with restaurants such as Condado and Ocean Park. We had a great time in this trip and when we come back we see ourselves staying here again. The owners were very nice and accessible.
