Springbreak in Seattle! The weather was not very cooperative, but this cozy condo was the best that could have happened to us and our three kids. It is exceptionally equipped with everything and anything, more you would ever expect from a vacation home. Since it was raining a lot, the kids wanted to spend more time inside than outside, and they never got bored. Lots of board games and toys are provided as well as an impressing collection of video games and movies. Although located very close to Seatac Airport, we never heard any noises from the airport. The condo is right at Seahurst Park, which has a beautiful beach line, trails and playing structure for kids. Jim and Debbie provide all information we would need, maps, traveler guide books, an entire information station right there in the living room.We even had a desktop computer and printer for our use. We could not ask for more (except for better weather ;-) Oh, and not to forget: the beds are the most comfortable ones we have ever had in a vacation rental. We will come back, but next time it will be summer to make sure we get to see more from the city than, puddles, clouds and fog.

We have stayed in other condos in the United States, but none have compared to this condo! Everything that you could possibly need is provided by the owners. Beautiful setting with Seahurst Park and Pugent Sound behind the condo, a lovely walk to the beach. Very clean and comfortable for our family of four get together! What you see is what you get in this listing! Thank you to the owners for making our visit to Seattle a wonderful memory.

Our family was looking for somewhere to stay that would allow us to enjoy Seattle without the stress of staying in a big town. We stayed here with 4 adults and 3 kids under 3 years old. It was perfect! The beds where so comfortable and everything was setup and ready for us when we arrived. The Owners had information about nearby activities and clear instructions about setting up extra beds which was very helpful. We took advantage of the forest directly behind the unit with a walk down to the water's edge where we found a secluded park for the kids to play. We highly recommend this rental.

We loved our stay in this cozy condo. The beds were wonderful, the kitchen well-stocked, and the toys, games and movies were perfect for my kids in the evening. During the day we kept busy exploring the area. Everything was so convenient to the condo! We took a ferry to Vashon Island, the light rail to downtown, and we walked to Seahurst Park a few times. The information and directions about things to see and do in the area were invaluable. Thanks for everything, Jim and Debbie! It was great to meet you, and the welcome basket was such a thoughtful touch.

This was our second stay at this wonderful, beautifully appointed condo. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is in place. Pantry is stocked with essentials for cooking. Top end appliances, and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Jim and Debbie think of everything. Maps, umbrellas, beach towels, etc. were all there. The location is very convenient to the airport, freeways, and downtown. We have taken several day trips from this location, Vancouver, Mount Ranier, Levenworth, and, Mount Olympic national park. We look forward to making this an annual trip, there is still so much to see and do.

I stayed here with my daughter and my parents for six nights in March 2011. The pictures the do not do this place justice. It is more beautiful and accomodating than the pictures can show. The owners were the best to work with and the welcome basket was much appreciated. All the area information and maps were great! We loved being near the city but not having to deal with all the traffic. The light rail is definitely the way to get to Seattle and not far from the condo. The restaurants that the Crones recommend are all excellent choices. (We ate at most of them) Thanks to Jim & Debbie for sharing your beautiful condo, it made our vaction great!

Jim and Debbie Crones were so communicative: they really know their location and how to make their renters feel at home! I was trying to find a place that was romantic, eye catching, memorable, affordable, away from the city- but not too far, nearby nature, and had a full kitchen for cooking-- and I found this perfect condo. The place was amazing- exceed our expectations! I cannot begin to explain how BEAUTIFULLY furnished the condo was, spacious, and how well stocked! I was making Valentines dinner and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had spices, pots and cooking pans, random sauces that I didn't think they had but they did and saved me a lot of time trying to find it at the grocery, all the utensils, cups, bowls, plates, bottle opener, everything. My GOSH I LOVED THAT PLACE. They had some breakfast food for us and plenty ziplock bags and tupperware, and just the little things like games, candles, movies, extra blankets, reserved parking, MATCHING red bathroom wall with red towels, internet, cozy fireplace, hangers in just the right places made the day go so smoothly - <3 The ambiance was just right. I don't think you'll find such a quaint place like this. We went out to the beach the next morning~ found the maps, directions, and highlights of the area informational~ even though we live around here--- and ohhh my, there was so much more to do I just wished we could have stayed longer. :] I already told several people about it! Thought this would be just okay for a young couple because it's really meant for a family with children or something but it fit amazingly well~ especially with Valentines~ Thank you very much!!!

The condo was a perfect home away from home. It was very comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. It was convenient to all the major highways. No problem getting into Seattle and all of the surrounding areas. We went to Mount St Helens, Mount Ranier, Olympic peninsula, Pacific Ocean, Tacoma and many more exciting places. The information Jim and Debbie gave us on things to do in the Seattle area was very helpful. It was also very nice only being minutes away from the airport. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunsets at Seahurst Park which is down a trail from the condo. I would love to go back again and stay at Jim and Debbie's condo. We had a chance to meet them the last night of our stay and they are very accommodating and genuine people.

We were a german group of two couples (aged in the 50s and 60s) going around in the Northwest of the USA for more than 3 weeks and we found a lot of wonderful places between Denver and Vancouver.But this one was really the highlight of our tour.From here you can explore Seattle in a very comfortable way going by car or train.And then you come back to a wonderful quiet places with impressive nature just in front of the door.Already in the time of planning the visit of Seattle, Jims informations were so helpful.For example Jims restaurant-tips Huckleberrys (in the morning) and "Bahama Breeze" in the evening were great. In the condo you find everything you need and even more.We felt immediatly "at home" after arriving. We would like very much to come back and of course recommend this place and hosts to our friends.

We enjoyed our Seattle visit in large part due to the wonderful accommodations. The condo was attractive, clean and well appointed. It was a home away from home. We enjoyed our walk to the Puget Sound Park and could have been happy to never venture far from the apartment. We rented a car and explored the Pike Place market, Seattle underground, Mt. Rainier, Vancouver and Bainbridge Island. It was also convenient to the bus and public transport. Thanks again!

Perfect place, perfect owners, perfect stay!

Stayed the second week in August and had a marvelous time. The condo is less than 10 minutes from SeaTack airport, 10 minutes or so from the light rail, less than 15 minutes from downtown Seattle and convenient for everything! The condo was SO clean and well appointed. We cook where ever we go and we found the kitchen nicely appointed, the beds comfortable, the baths well laid out and everything that we needed including clothes washer/dryer with detergent and fabric softener. Soap and shampoo in the baths, spices and seasonings in the kitchen, grill mitts and spatulas for the gas grill and quiet surroundings made for a carefree retreat. There was even a welcome basket when we arrived from a long flight. A brisk walk down the hill through forests on good trails took us to Puget Sound and a great view of the sunsets. Jim and Debbie provided everything that we needed. Even those things which we forgot to bring with us we found were already there. It was a great experience and we would love to go back again. We left temps of 105 and humidity of 85% and found great temps in the 70's, beautiful views and friendly people; just what we were looking for!

Our family of five adults stayed here for a few nights and it was great! The condo was really cute and well-maintained - just the way it was pictured in the listing. Plenty of room for us all to spread out. And we definitely appreciated how close it was to the airport when we had a 6:45 AM flight back home! The condo owners are very nice people and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Downtown Burien was pretty cool and was a nice place to head for a bite to eat when we didn't feel like going into Seattle. I enjoyed getting my morning latte fix at Burien Press. Since my family tends to be all about the food, here are some places in Seattle we loved: Salumi (delicious meats and sandwiches - just don't show up at like 3:45 like we did or they will be out of a lot of things), Cafe Besalu (perhaps the greatest bakery EVER - the ginger biscuits were absolutely incredible), Main Street Gyros (not sure which was better - the gyros or the feta fries), and La Creperie Voila (a funky little outdoor kiosk downtown - the fig, apple, and goat cheese was my favorite).

The condo was great! Everything was convient-getting to downtown was quick, shopping was nearby, Seahurst Park is great. The kids loved the ocean. Everything we needed was in the condo. Jim and Debbie keep everything in emmaculate shape. I am a clean freak, and do not like staying in hotels. This condo felt like a home and everything was spotless. This was my first time renting a condo anywhere, and I was very worried after hearing stories of how friends made out renting condos. I was very pleased with the condo, it was described accurately, really it was much nicer than described. Extremely clean and very well maintained, we loss a pill bottle and had to go under beds and couches to find it, and it was just a clean under there as the rest of the condo. There was a welcome basket that was very appreciated coming off the plane late in the evening. Jim and Debbie were very informative about things to do and see around Seattle, and the maps were very helpful in finding attractions. It is not far from airport if you are flying, and a lot of stores around the area. They left a recommendation for restaurants and we tried some of them, and were very please with their description of locations and prices. I had a adult travelling with a broken back which was healing, but still he was in a brace with a walker, we were so please we had rented the condo, as it gave him places to relax, put his feet up and feel like he was at home. I highly recommend this condo to anyone, there is toys for children, computer for teenangers, comfortable beds for us olders, and a very nice place to visit, a lovely little balcony. We did not try the pool or the hot tub, we did not have time to busy visitng all the sights. We went out to Seattle for a Wedding and I told everyone about the "Wonderful" condo we were staying at--some are going to rent it when they come next time. I think I am spoiled for the next time I rent a Condo, will expert it to be just like this one.

Thank you and your wife for offering your condo for us to stay at while in the Seattle area. The beds were comfy and having 2 bedrooms after being in hotel rooms for 6 nights was wonderful. Also, not having to share a bathroom...priceless. Seahurst Park was one of our favorite spots and I think I brought home about half the beach rocks and sea glass! I wasn't over on my luggage weight but I was probably close. The condo area was very quiet and the last night there we actually slept with the window open and didn't hear a sound except for some birds. We are a family of 4, two kids aged 14 and 8, who would rent here again with hesitation. The kids loved the movie selection which is like Redbox but without the driving :) I don't think we could have asked for anything else to be there for our convenience. You have thought of everything anyone could have wanted. Thank you for having such a first class rental and being first class hosts. We really appreciate all you did to make our four night stay comfortable.

Our stay was fantastic! It was nice to home a comfortable home after a very long day. Wish we would had more time to go around and see everything. We did the City Pass and got to enjoy the Space Needle, Zoo, boat tour, and bus ride up to Goat Mountain. We saw many other site while visiting my brother and his family. The location of the condo was great for getting on and off the freeway and able to travel to anywhere. I would like to have stayed longer and come back again.

This vacation was special for my Mom's 90th birthday with her daughters and some of her nieces. We all traveled quite a distance to meet in Seattle. We were armed with fabulous and detailed information from the owners and I don't know how we could have done without it. The condo was neat and clean with wonderful amenities. Even the kitchen provided everything we needed for cooking and gourmet meals. (I want one of those bar-b-q grills.) We loved Seahurst Park and Fred Meyer store only a few blocks away. Restaurants and quaint town shopping. Everything was close and easy to get to downtown Seattle and the ferries. We will be back for sure. Thanks to our hosts.

Staying at this condo was ideal for us. We were in Seattle for a family gathering, so being next to the park was great for having a barbeque... And what a beautiful location! We can't describe how thrilled we were to find this perfect place for our few days in the Seattle area. This was our first trip to Seattle, with some friends and their baby. Our optimism about staying at this condo was high before arriving, and we were not in the least bit disappointed. The only regret we have is that unforseen plans prevented us from just hanging out and relaxing at the condo as much as we would have liked to. But the time we did have there was great. Everything we could possibly need for the baby was already available when we arrived. The beds and couch are uber-comfy, and the entire place was very clean and well-maintained. Driving to go sightseeing downtown was incredibly convenient, and the "things to do" sheet that came with the condo info before arriving was very helpful when researching plans for the trip. Loved having the computer available. We really couldn't have asked for more. Our only concern after staying here is that now other vacation rentals we might try in the future will have difficulty living up to this one. :)

I would highly recommend this property for a trip to the Seattle area. Excellent location, close to the, waterfront, downtown Seattle and Tacoma. We were able to visit many poplular locations during our week stay. We spent a day in Vancouver, Mt. Ranier, Olympic National Park, Boeing Museum, antique shopping in Snohomish, and all the downtown Seattle attractions. The pictures do not do the condo justice. It is large, comfortable and well stocked and well maintained. All high end applicancesand the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Also many extras you would not find at a hotel or timeshare (umbrellas, coolers, toys, movies etc. things that you need but would not think to pack). The owners, Debbie and Jim went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We had full use of their computer which was a God send. They provided maps and listings of local places to eat and shop as well as recommendations for sightseeing. They were also kind enough to allow a midweek arrival to get us the best airfare. We can not wait to return next year to explore more of Olympic national park and the Oregon coast.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the condo. It was the perfect getaway while he was home on leave from Afghanistan. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed as was the rest of the house. The giant comfy couch and flat screen tv made for a great movie watching and relaxing spot. Both beds are very comfortable and it was great having two bathrooms. It's only a 15 minute drive into the city which was perfect, and the walk down to Seahurst park is beautiful. We can't thank the Crones' enough for their hospitality and generosity. Thank you for such a wonderful week.

Our stay in your condo was perfect. The location could not have been better. It made it very easy to travel to visit our different worksites and return each evening. Jim, I can't tell you how pleased we were with your condo. It worked out perfectly for us to visit our daughter who lives in Seatac. Dear Jim and Debbie,We had such a great time at your apartment in Burien, it was so comfortable. Thank you very much for all your thoughtfulness. The kids especially enjoyed the pool and the games on that big TV. The maps and information were very helpful, our vacation couldn’t have turned out better. I washed the sheets and towels in the morning before we left but I did not have time to iron. Our flight coming home was delayed so we mist our connection in Paris and had to spend an extra six hours there. By the time we came home we were exhausted and haven't quite recovered yet. Thanks Jim,I love it when a plan comes together and everything works out. Thanks for all you help with things to do. We had a great time in Seattle. Thanks for the basket of goodies we ate it all! I really appreciated the boat ride through Seattle, you’re boat was amazing. Can you send me some of the pictures you took, Carol would especially like to see the ones of the Sleepless in Seattle house Boat and Bill Gates house. Carol walked down to the beach that day and then just sat around the pool reading her book. Carol and I had a safe uneventful trip back to Edmonton. The I-5 was dead and only one car at the Sumas border crossing. There is a heat wave here at 32 c (90f) That is about as hot as it ever gets here and usually amounts to a few weeks in early August. We were discussing winters. The coldest it gets is -35c (32 below 0 f) A nice winter day here which can go on for about 3 months (average) is -10c ( 14 above 0 f).We left the dirty sheets and towels on the dryer as you requested. The dishes in the dishwasher are clean. There are a few things in the refrigerator we bought that we didn’t want to take home but seamed a waste to throw out. Have a great autumn.Gerry

Jim & Debbie,We don't think things could have worked out any better than they did. This was our first exchange and we were really glad that we had such a great experience with a family such as yours. Your condo was awesome, and we were very glad to hear that our home worked for you as well. Our daughters auditions went very well. Thank you for the nuts and chocolates, that was very nice of you. Sorry about the vacuum belt, it was only about a week old and I knew it when I put it on that it was the incorrect belt, I'll find the right one this time.
