My ocean front 5th floor studio condo is 2 steps from a 1,200 sq ft terrace that overlooks the beautiful ocean. Just step through my glass slider
and enjoy the AMAZING OCEAN VIEWS and breeze.

Imagine having breakfast on the terrace or an afternoon happy hour. The view is truly a million dollar view.

Coral Beach is a community of privately owned condos. Many owners rent their condo as a "self-catering" unit for DO-IT-YOURSELF travellers.

The complex has beautifully groomed grounds and is in a secure environment. The extra large balcony is technically public area, as are all large terraces at Coral Beach, but my condo is the ONLY one with a slider on to this specific terrace.

The beach is made of lovely white & pink coral sand and is very soft. Most people say it's one of the best beaches in all of The Bahamas and I agree!

A short 20 minute stroll down the beach to the left is World Famous "Billy Joes" Conch shack.

Right beside Billy Joes is a variety of watersports including: jets ski, parasailing, banana boats, snorkeling cruises, etc.

Amenities include: High access internet access available via cable modem and ethernet cable (Note--not wireless at this time)

King-size bed & Queen sleeper sofa, linens, A/C unit, new microwave oven & stove, dishes, blender, coffee maker, full-size refrigerator, TV with cable, CD/radio, terrace table and chairs and coolers for your day trips.

The POOL BAR is OPEN and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for very reasonable prices. Items include: burgers, fish, lobster, scallops, dogs, seafood platters, beers, mixed drinks, fruity drinks, etc. The menu can change daily and is always a treat!

There is a small On-site store for snacks, water and toiletries.

Port Lucaya Marketplace and hotels are a short 15 minute walk down the beach.

Golf five minute drive.

Grand Bahama International Airport 10 minute drive. Estimated cab fare each way is $20-25.

  • Hey Brian, Your place is just the greatest! We've now stayed in it at least 4 or 5 times and always find it nice, clean, comfortable and inviting! We LOVE the location with the great views of the ocean and beach and the fantastic deck! Perfect ocean breezes! The beach is absolutely beautiful, not many people, so extremely enjoyable! It's a real plus that the kitchen has lots of useful tools as we do a lot of our own cooking. We also love the internet access!! What else can I say? We've stayed in several other places and like yours the best by far! Nancy & Hal

  • We've stayed at Brian's Place several times now, and every time it's time to leave, we begin to think, immediately, about when we can possibly return. We just love this place so much it's hard to describe. A beautiful beach is literally steps from the studio, some great golf couses are just minutes away by car or taxi, the best dive op on the island (Grand Bahama Scuba/ Fred & Melinda) is very close by, and the Lucaya Market Place (with its multitude of shops and restaurants) is within walking distance. The studio apartment itself is much more than comfortable and commodious, and the terrace space and views are simply spectacular. If Brian (the owner) was not such a great guy to deal with, I wouldn't even write all these glowing comments, for fear that his hidden paradise would never be available to us. And for a Yankee fan to say nice things about a Red Sox fan means that he (and his extraordinary place) must be very special indeed. We can't wait to get back there! As always, Brian, thank you!   • Thanks Brian- Great time- great value! We stayed from June 8 June 15th and had a relaxing vacation- the beaches were perfect! The food at Lucaya was better than I'd remembered- be sure to visit Shenanigan's for the awesome potato soup and Zorba's for the pastichio! Blackbeard's is still not up-and-running, which would have been great, but all else makes for a future return visit! Thanks again!

  • Thanks Brian! We had a great time, the location is great - walking distance from where all the action takes place but secluded enough to allow for some privacy. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to several coworkers.

  • 5/8-14,2007 - Brian's condo was a wonderful (and economical!) way to spend a relaxing vacation in the Bahamas. This area is more laid back and slower paced than Nassau. The condo is well equipped and the terrace provides a fantastic view of the beach and pool. The poolside bar (BlackBeards) was closed due to a dispute with the new mgmt, so you will need to have breakfast/lunch foods. We suggest packing snacks and foods like crackers, EZMac, KoolAid and cereal. The food here is very limited and twice the price in the US. Also, BlackBeards rented the beach chairs, so none were available. It'd be good to pack a "noodle" (they were $20 here!) or find a few chairs to keep at the condo. If you are looking for an easy, laid back vacation, this is the perfect place for you. The resorts at Port Lucaya are fancy & nice, but Brian's place had much more to offer for much less $$. We met a few ladies that have been coming to Coral Beach for over 15 years and still love it. I can see why! We hope to come back again very soon.

    Blackbeards is going through internal changes and it appears the present leaseholder has walked away from the business. Hopefully the bar will be remodeled and open for business soon!!!

  • 3/21-3/28 07 The views from the terrace are truly amazing! Location to Port Lucaya is great, enjoyed happy hour every day at Blackbeards. Should we come back to the Grand Bahama Island again, we wouldn't hesitate staying here. Sorry we didn't get to meet you, Brian. Several people at the complex told us you are a great guy! Thanks again for sharing your place with us.

  • Just returned from a week at Brian's place at Coral Beach. October is a great time to be in the Bahamas, and Coral Beach is the perfect location. Brian's condo was very nice - big and comfortable and having all the conveniences. It has a perfect view and the terrace is great. It's a great value.

  • We stayed at Brian's place last October, not long after the storms. Well, what a wonderful location! The terrace is something else, with the views, the dawn to dusk sun, and the sea so near. Love to return one day. The condo itself has been well equipped by Brian, who we have since had the pleasure of meeting (at the bar!) on a subsequent visit to CB.

  • Another wonderful two weeks at "Brians place" /Coral Beach in beautiful Bahamas. We really enjoyed the new stove, microwave, counter space and other improvements in the kitchen. Our favorite spot is the wonderful deck where we start our day with coffee and the most beautiful sunrises you have ever seen and end it with a nightcap while listening to the waves hitting the beach. We enjoy walks on the beach--quiet ones leading down to the jetty and fun ones on our way to the resort and Port Lucaya. All the people are very friendly, restaurants are good, casino is beautiful, beaches and water are the best, -these are the reasons that we have called this "our home away from home" for nine years!
