Our 2,200 sq/ft condo is conveniently located in the heart of Ixtapa (Mexican Riveria) nestled among white sands a mere walking distance from casual and fine dining, Marina Ixtapa Robert von Haage golf course, clubs, shopping and entertainment. Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo have much to offer for activities including: shopping, restaurants, golf, a zipline adventure park, snorkeling, scuba, and some of the best fishing in Mexico. Five minutes from Zihuatanejo and twenty minutes from the airport.
Luxurious living in a peaceful gated community under 24 hour security watch. This suite is located on the 7th floor with a main living/dining area and not one, but two king master bedrooms (with flat screen TV’s) that open up to breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean and exquisite rainbow sunsets, fall asleep serenaded by the sound of breaking waves. The master bedrooms and living/dinning area give you a romantic 180 degrees of unobstructed, panoramic ocean view, off a private terrace that runs the whole length of the condo!
Two additional rooms face the golf course and each of these has lush tropical mountain views and stunning panoramic portraits of Ixtapa. Each bedroom is complete with a fan, air-conditioning and its own bathroom for maximum privacy. The mountain view bedrooms have two twin beds in one and a queen bed in the other. The residence combines the privacy of home with the feel of a high-end vacation resort.
The expansive kitchen area which includes granite bar, stainless appliances and a gas range,. You can hire a cook by the day to shop and prepare your meals for you or if decide to take advantage of the inexpensive dining opportunities just outside your door. All water in the condo is purified so you can take chilled water and ice from the refrigerator or any tap with confidence. Off the kitchen is additional sleeping accommodations, the service quarters, has one double bunk bed. This is also where you will find the full size washer and dryer.
During the evening take a seat on the impressive baloney and watch gorgeous sunset over the islands over an icy-cold beer, chilled glass of wine or perhaps it is the “hour of the gin and tonic”. Then perhaps enjoy the flat-screen TV and home theater system or use the free and secure wireless network service available in the condo and throughout the grounds so you can tell the world about your good fortune. Take one of the two elevators just outside your front door that service just 30 condos down to the pool and the beach
Spend lazy afternoons reading under a canopied poolside, or take in a perfect cloudless day floating in the beautiful infinity pool or the adult only pool. The infinity pools border the beach making it possible to hang on the edge and enjoy the views and people watch.
A small separate wading pool provides ideal afternoon entertainment for smaller children. You can enjoy a delicious variety of inexpensive drinks and snacks made by Amara's personal private bartender with snacks, shady tables and endless views. Go though carefully manicured foliage of beautiful flowers and palms and the gate to the vast expanse of pristine sand and clear, warm sapphire blue ocean. Here you can jet-ski, parasail or banana boat ride or just take a massage in a shaded hut right on the beach for about $20, or even go swimming with dolphins. Enjoy your private palapa and sink your feet into the sand while you enjoy every minute of your own tropical paradise. Not for you today, well, a gym, a business center, and paddle tennis courts are also available on the grounds.

I had a great weeklong vacation at this condo in Ixtapa. The condo itself is beautiful - very nicely furnished with everything you could need in the kitchen, for entertainment, etc. Each room has its own bathroom which is very convenient when sharing the place with five friends! The balcony was a definite plus - it has a gorgeous view, perfect for reading in the morning or playing card games in the evening. The condo grounds were also beautiful. Two big pools, with shaded lounge chairs for reading or enjoying a drink from the bar, and really essential built in umbrellas on the private part of the beach (where I spent most of my time during the day!!). Neighbors were friendly, too. The location of the condo is also ideal - you can walk to some good restaurants and bars, and a few small grocery stores, but it’s also easy to grab a cab and go to areas with more places to shop and eat. Since the kitchen was fully stocked, we could also save some money by taking a quick trip to a close grocery store and buy food to make and eat in the condo. It’s also a pretty fast trip to the airport (especially when you get a gutsy cab driver). Altogether, highly recommended!

This is a fantastic condo right next to the water, complete with pool/bar on the water (less than 50 yards, just past the pool). The condo itself is very well maintained with two very spacious master bedrooms and two other rooms with twin beds, with lots of bathroom space. Perfect for large groups, as we took a crew of ~10 people without getting in each others way. Gorgeous sunsets on the balcony with a great view of the beach/coastline. There are restaurants and a small grocery store across the street where you can pickup basic food/drinks and the kitchen is complete for cooking lunch/dinners. Can't say enough good things about the property itself - the staff is friendly and accommodating. Ixtapa itself has plenty to do and this condo is right in the middle of it.

If you're looking for a relaxing stay on the "Mexican Riviera" then this place is for you. The view is miraculous, the pools relaxing, and the condo has everything you could need, from a fully-functional kitchen (with optional chef) to really comfy beds galore. For the price, compared to the amount of people who can comfortably sleep here (we had 6, could have easily fit 2-3 more), it's ideal. And it's walking distance to Senor Frogs!

The Ixtapa Amara Condo surpasses expectations. The condo is very clean and very well maintained. The spacious living room/dining room area fit all of us comfortably with room to spare. The pools/beach were steps away. The beach was well kept and provided great scenery for morning walks. There are tons of great restaurants with in walking distance and a short cab ride. A few of our favorites for the week were just across the street! The Ixtapa Pier is a short walk away and offers great views and good food as well. For day trips, Zihatinejo was a quick cab ride away and had more food and retail options. The trip went by too quickly and I'm looking forward to visiting again!

The condo is beautiful, clean and has a fully stocked kitchen for those nights you don't feel like going out. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a additional restaurants at the marina or in Zih – only a short cab ride away. We had a fantastic time and are already planning our second trip to Ixtapa for next year.
