It has taken us two years to find an apartment equal in style and elegance to our first successful acquisition in Prague. The new apartment represents our values of providing accommodation which captures the historical charm of Prague, while at the same time offering value for money. This Art Nouveau building, with a life, has been renovated by an Italian company. Their work on this building was nominated for an award. In the apartment, many original features have been preserved. Parquet floors, French doors, high ceilings and large original windows blend tastefully with restored antiques, chandeliers and touches of modern style. There is a sunny, quiet balcony overlooking a courtyard, where you can enjoy breakfast in tranquil surroundings. It is as comfortable for 4 as it is for 2 people. The large living room comfortably accommodates two extra guests. The apartment has been styled with an attention to detail, care and elegance, sure to leave you with memories as deep and vivid as the city itself.

The apartment is in Old Town, the historical centre of Prague. It is 5 minutes walk to Na Prikope street, where you will find the Municiple House and the Jewish Quarter. Wenceslas square and Old Town square are a few minutes from here. Florenc metro station is 1 minute from the apartment. This will take you to Museum, the top of Wenceslas square in 2 mins. All attractions are reachable by metro in minutes. There are trams and a bus taking you directly to the Jewish quarter of Old Town, from where it is a few minutes walk to Old Twon Sqaure. You are one minutes walk from a supermarket and shopping centre. Palladium shopping centre, the city's largest, is 5 minutes away. There is a bus station behind the apartment and the main train station Halvani Nadrazi is one metro stop away. Hilton Hotel is opposite the apartment with its famous sky bar where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. This quiet location is perfect for exploring the city by tram, metro or by foot.

Why the Owner Chose Prague

Having lived in Prague for 7 years, I am in the perfect position to pick the best locations in the city for our vacation rentals. The apartment is perfectly located, as not only is it in the centre of the city, with the major attractions within walking distance, but the street where the apartment is located, is also quiet. This includes the balcony, overlooking a courtyard, which is the perfect place to relax and sip a chilled wine after a busy day.

The location also offers unbeatable links to metro, bus and tam lines. Florenc metro station is on your doorstep with two lines taking you anywhere in the city in minutes and there is a bus and tram station seconds from the apartment.

There are two supermarkets in front of the apartment and a shopping centre where you can find a bakery and deli. Everything you need for convenience, comfort and relaxation. We are also happy to recommend restaurants in the area which are more popular with locals, should you want to escape the tourist crowds for a more local experience.

The Unique Benefits at this Apartment

The major benefits of our accommodation include, its excellent location, unique south facing balcony overlooking a quiet courtyard, the award nominated renovation of the building and the character and charm of the apartment itself, which was created by restoring and highlighting many of its original features. We have also paid great attention to detail in the furnishing of the apartment, which includes stylishly restored antique furniture and elegant and original décor. We are also dedicated to the highest level of customer care, from the moment you are picked up at the airport by our friendly taxi drivers, we are on call to assist and advise you. Our aim is to create an experience for our guests which will emulate the historical magic of Prague. We would like your memories of our apartment to be as rich and vivid as those left by the city itself. We look forward to accommodating you.

Owner's Map of Prague

First of all, I would like to thank you for your interest in my Prague property and I would also like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. I was born in Israel, grew up in London and have been living in Prague for the last 6 years. This is the second apartment we offer for the holiday rental market. We were successful with our first holiday rental in Prague, #185760 which achieved an 80% occupancy in 2009 and have tried to emulated many of the features which we feel made the first apartment so popular. We also continue our dedication to providing the same level of customer service which has give our first property 50 5-star reviews in just 18 months on the market. I am confident we can continue and even surpass these standards in 2010 with both apartments offering the highest standards in terms of the accommodation and the services around it

Charming apartment

We spent 11 days in this lovely, quiet apartment, this past October. The pictures are very accurate as the apt. is decorated with many loving details. The owner is super great to work with and responds quickly if any problem surfaces. A grocery store and public transportation, bus & metro, are just around the corner and a 20 minute walk brings you to the old town area. Also it is very close to the train station if you are going on to other parts of Europe. The sunny balcony is a plus and looks into an interesting courtyard with views of other buildings. It is great for drying clothes on a rack that is in the apt.,as well as enjoying a glass of wine! I loved the art deco feeling of the apt.,especially the etched glass french doors going into the kitchen and all the long, large french windows! Very elegant! My only negative comment would be that the bed (which is a nice size) and small couch in the living room for watching T.V. are not very comfortable and could be improved. Thanks Ilan for a great stay in Prague!

Owner response:Thank you for your valuable feedback. We have since replaced the bed and upgraded the mattress. We will also replace the sofa in the living room. Thanks again for pointing this out. Ilan

The apartment is attractively designed, comfortable, clean and spacious as well as being equipped with everything one needed for a weeks vacation. Just as it is portrayed on the website. Close to transport and easy walking to Old Town, restaurants and other attractions. The owners were extremely helpful from the initial enquiry until our departure. Free wifi makes life easy for travellers. The apartment is a delight to come home to after exploring a magnificent city.

This is a beautiful apartment It is decorated with care and attention, just as described in the advert. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy the balcony but I am sure it is fantastic in the summer months. The location was great. We could walk to all attractions but if we didn’t feel like waking there was a metro at the door step of the apartment as well as a tram and bus stop. It was also really handy having two supermarkets on the door step of the flat as well as a bakery and deli. I would recommend this apartment without hesitations and are already booked in for next year! Thanks again

A collegue and I stayed in this this well located, extremely clean and well maintained cozy apt. The apt was exactly as pictured on the site. The owner was extremely helpful, with arrangements from and to the Prague airport and directions to get to all the visitor sites. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend this place to a couple or a small family.

We enjoyed our Christmas week in this very warm and cosy apartment. Situated in a quiet but convenient location, it is well placed for the trams and Underground. We used the public transport systems a great many times, to get to the famous sights and outlying areas. Also, it was an easy walk into the central squares and shopping mall. The two handy supermarkets were very useful, and we found several very reasonably priced restaurants nearby, heading away from the centre, along Sokolovska. The apartment felt very safe and secure. The owner was very helpful and keen to ensure we were able to contact him at all times, in the event of any mishaps, over the holiday period. He seemed genuinely interested in our wellbeing and the taxi arrangement for our arrival was excellent. Getting back to the airport by public transport was very easy and cheap (approx £3 for 2 people and 2 cases!!) using the tram from round the corner and the airport bus. It took about an hour. An enjoyable holiday, we would be happy to return to this apartment. Thank you.

We stayed in the apartment for the month of January and were totally satisfied. It was cosy, warm, and comfortable. Ilan was a welcoming host and quickly responded with advice and anything we needed. We used the kitchen for most of our meals which saves a little on the holiday budget. The apartment is situated in a very convenient location, a few steps from the Florenc metro station that has two of the three main subway lines passing through - so you can get just about everywhere in Prague easily and cheaply. (A month pass cost us only 20 euros each.) It was also possible to walk directly to the historic city center without difficulty - although it snowed during most of our stay! Prague is stunningly beautiful and this apartment is a fine place to use as a base for seeing the sights and taking in the fabulous musical scene.

Lovely spacious apartment on a quiet street within walking distance (10 mins) of the city centre. The apartment was clean, tastefully decorated, well maintained and well equipped. There were two of us but the apartment could fit another 2 - 3 or even 4 comfortably so it would be suitable for a small family. The owner was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property highly!
