Stayed here in July with my wife and daughter. If you are looking for a place to stay 2 minute walk from the #1 rated beach in the world and walking distance to all the nightlife, this is it. We had our own pool and Jacuzzi while we were there. We also used the grill on the roof of the penthouse, amazing at sunset!!! The Price was right and we had lots of room and were very comfortable. Rooms are clean, grounds are landscaped and clean. We will be back for sure!!!! Great for a family or just a romantic getaway!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

A year ago three girl friends and I stayed in this luxury penthouse and we enjoyed the property along with the beach and nearby restaurants so much; that this year, I convinced my sister and her family of four to join me and my family of three for a mini-family reunion at Beach Villas. The property is just as beautiful and pristine as the photos posted reflect, which is not always the case, when one rents without first seeing the property. The upgraded appliances, wonderful beds and linens, beautiful decor and close location to the beach plus a number of restaurants and bars within walking distance is what brought me back to this property. And, I'm happy to report, a year’s wait between visits had not changed the elegant and luxury penthouse feel. The teenagers, on this trip, couldn't wait to get up and to the beach each morning. As indicated in the specs for this property, the walk to the beach was probably 3 to 4 minutes for me but even less for the kids. We all agree Siesta Beach being named the #1 beach in the US is well deserved because of the clear water and the sand that doesn’t get hot, so it’s easy to walk on anytime of the day. While the kids loved the beach, we adults loved the late afternoon cocktails on the roof terrace as we watched the sun set. And, the owner has provided a very large grill that accommodated us grilling hamburgers and steaks for dinner before we enjoyed playing cards and watching movies in the media room. We also appreciated the two car garage because we were glad to have the cars locked up at night. The pool is not Olympic sized but it was plenty large enough for our pool needs especially since we spent most of the time in the Jacuzzi. And, there were lounge chairs available for those who wanted to soak up the sun. All in all, we bonded as a family and enjoyed staying in accommodations that frankly were better than our homes. So we are already planning on returning next year, and we hope our brother can join us, as there is plenty of room to accommodate more family members. Thanks to the owners for maintaining this lovely oasis for us to return to annually.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I grew up in Florida and have spent most summers at places like Amelia Island Plantation and Longboat Key. Very quiet and almost serene. After hearing so much about the great sand at Siesta Key and proximity to Tampa airport we thought we would enjoy a change of scenery. We had four children eight and under with us and five adults. This property was certainly furnished beautifully (comfy beds, nice kitchen, extra linens and great bathrooms) but the layout was difficult with small children. They felt very far away from the Master on the main floor and the plethora of stairs with darkly lit walls made it seem a bit daunting for the little ones. The Master was incredibly comfortable but the shades, while nice to look at, leave gaping holes for light to sneak in and do nothing for controlling the noise from the busy street outside. On three different weekday nights we were awoken to fireworks going off from 11pm to 4:30am. Annoying to say the least. The walk to the beach was only about 5 minutes but we expected to be on the beach so walking along the busy commerical area where we hoped to God the drivers would stop at the crosswalk for our small children was also a bit annoying. Once we got to it the beach was indeed beautiful! But if you're used to quiet and not crowded this is not the place for you. But if you want to be in the middle of all the action and walk to bars and restaurants this is the perfect place. Last note is about the pool. It is tiny. Almost private plunge pool size. And there are no pool chairs or places to relax by the pool. This is probably because it is so small. Our kids enjoyed it initially but after a day even they were commenting how small it was and how they couldn't swim very far. And thankfully we were in the building by ourselves most of the week. One day there was another family in the pool at the same time and it felt like we were sharing a community hot tub. No space. But it was very nice that it was a salt water pool and not chlorinated. All in all a nice property but just not what we expected.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We were two families meeting for the first time for our daughter's wedding on the beach in Siesta Key. This was a perfect spot...from sunsets on the rooftop to gatherings in the open kitchen/living room/dining room. We all had our own space, and yet we were able to spend time all together. The condo is within walking distance to the beach, town, and all necessities. It is beautifully furnished and does not lack for anything. We will return! Thanks so much!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We live in Bradenton and this is the first time we rented near the beach. The property was beautiful and very well maintained. We liked the multiple level design because it allowed for everyone to have their own space. The location was ideal! The only drawback was that the elevator was more of a service elevator and was extremely slow. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, spacious and beautiful place to stay!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family stayed in the property from December 27, 2009 through January 3, 2010, and had a fantastic experience. The accomadations were first rate and any questions or concerns we had were quickly addressed. The easy access to the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key and the first class restaurants of the Village made the stay unforgettable. My daughters loved "shelling" on the beach at sunrise, and my wife has a new favorite Italian restaurant in nearby Cafe Gabbiano. The property itself was both luxurious and comfortable, with brand new appliances and tasteful decor. The heated pool and hot tub helped make a few cool evenings enjoyable and entertaining. We unconditionally recommend this property, this owner and this location to any future travelers, especially those like us with large families. Peace be with you LaNita, Steve and Siesta Key.
