This condo is everything you would want and more for your next vacation rental. The location is great, the beach is beautiful and an elevator ride away. There are two balconies to enjoy beautiful sunrises, sunsets, ocean waves or just people watching - you choose. Our kids really had a great time here. It's comfortable and has all the amenities of home and more. The decor is really nice. The bedrooms and baths are setup perfectly. You can tell hard work went in to making the condo what it is. The owner met us the day of arrival as promised and reviewed all the details of the unit as well as the property with us. The unit was clean, fresh and ready for us on arrival. The property has a beautiful pool, hot tub, workout facilities, etc. This experience and property are first class. We plan on staying again.

Exceptional accommodations with phenomenal view

Our family had the opportunity to spend a week at this beautiful condo in July 2011. We were so happy with our time. Brian was wonderful to deal with, so personable and even went out of his way to meet up with us to provide the key and help explain everything about the property and answer any of our questions. The condo is professionally decorated and everything has been well cared for. Gorgeous furnishings adorn every room. It is luxury at its best. Every detail has been thought through. In a state of the art kitchen (complete with wine cooler), there were many items that they provided that we didn't have to go out and get - like salt and pepper, Pam, coffee, etc. All the dishwashing, laundry and other cleaning products were all provided, as well as toilet paper and a big stash of paper towels. Brian even told us we were more than welcome to use their beach umbrella, chairs or any of the toys for our children that they had there. I cannot explain how phenomenal this condo is. You just have to see it. Breathtaking views with nice outdoor furniture and a top of the line outdoor grill lured us to stay in one night and cook out instead of going out to dinner. The condo is located at a great part of Daytona Beach Shores - just minutes from the pier with all the action or a few minutes the other direction to Ponce Inlet with all its good restaurants and the lighthouse. We were very happy with our stay and hope to come back again soon.

First Class Accommodations

I am not sure that words can describe how nice a condo this really is -- impeccably decorated and every little detail was perfect. This is literally a first class accommodation. My wife and I recently retired and decided to get away for five weeks in April and May (2011). We fell in love with the on-line pictures of the condo and upon arrival, the real thing was even nicer than expected! The weather even cooperated while we were in Florida . We would wake up each morning, sit out on the large balcony with our cup of morning coffee, and just watch the ocean. It was so peaceful. Five weeks was a long time, but the condo made us feel like home. The condo was completely stocked with cooking utensils so you did not have to buy anything but the food. We mostly used the outside grill – but the kitchen was immaculate. There were plenty of linens, even beach towels. You will not be disappointed by renting this unit. Ocean Vistas occupants also have access to a pool table, business area with a computer, work out facilities, sauna and heated pool. The common areas were always clean and kept up in a first class manner. Brian met us, as scheduled, on our arrival date and gave us a complete tour of the facilities. Parking for the facility is secure and they also have security guards so you always feel safe. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who wants to experience the life of the rich and famous in a beautiful beach front accommodation, because that is certainly how it made us feel. We most certainly hope to vacation there again!

Stunning Condo with a perfect host

We rented this wonderful condo from Brian for the Daytona 500. What a fabulous week we had here. It is first rate in every respect. The condo was spotless and had superior furnishings, that appeared to me to be new. This is a 5 star property. TV's everywhere, and full satellite service. The view is great and the outside deck was perfect for taking in the ocean, and BBQ's. It is also very quiet. We cooked almost every night and I didn't lack for any pots, pans or dishes. As a matter of fact knowing that I was going to cook for one of the NASCAR teams, Brian bought us a large pot in order to make sure I could make the dishes I wanted to make. The team was so impressed, I think they may consider staying at this complex instead of renting hotel rooms, next year. They are going to have to fight us for his condo however. Brian was right on time to let us in, and our deposit check was sent back in 4 weeks as agreed upon. Although there are a number of great restaurants around, I just prefer my own cooking and brought my own wines. Within a very close distance, there are at least 2 supermarkets, a liquor store, as well as a fabulous homemade ice cream establishment about a mile from it. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. You need a car to get around Daytona Beach. My family and I would stay here again without hesitation, and I have already told several of my friends that this is THE place to stay in Daytona. So much better than any hotel. Accessing the wireless was easy. Ocean Vistas, has a fully functioning workout room as well as a business area to work, with printers, faxes etc. Brian is a straight up guy who took very good care of us.

This is a fantastic condo. Describing it as a "condo" does not do it justice. It is very spacious and professionally decorated with every comfort of your own home. My wife, two children and I (ages 17 & 20) stayed at this beautiful condo for 10 days. We have traveled extensively and we all agreed that this was without doubt the very best we have experienced. Beyond the condo itself, the beach is fantastic with plenty to do in the area. Brian was great and very professional. We were surprised such a beautiful home was available for vacation. I did a lot of research and if you plan to stay in the Daytona Beach area look no further, this is without a doubt the very best.

Perfect Family Vacation

We absolutely loved this condo. After renting houses and condos for the last 7 years, this is the place we would love to come back to. It is spacious, beautifully decorated, well-stocked, conveniently located, with very comfy beds, good beach access, gated secure parking, wonderful courtyard and pool, great views, and very clean. We have 9 in our family and ranged in age from 10 months to 60 years. The crib provided was perfect as we didn't have to bring one with us. Ocean Vistas is top notch and Pam was always happy to assist us with anything we needed. We all had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back next year. I also wanted to say our experience of renting from Brian was great.

Fabulous Vacation

This was b y far the nicest place we have ever stayed at! I have stayed at a lot of condo and this one beats them all! It was very clean, plenty of room for all of us and it was beautifully decorated. The location was awesome. I just can't say enough about what a great time we had and what a huge, beautiful, relaxing space this is, I highly recommend it to anyone, but especially those with a bigger party, everyone even had their own rooms. It was Fabulous! Thank you Brian, we look forward to returning next year.

Good and Bad 7/31/10-8/7/10

Condo was nice and well appointed. A/C went out and was repaired the next day following a same day service call. Had to prompt to get the deposit back twice and then received the check after 7 weeks to be charged for twin bed duvet covers. Interesting part is that we waited for entrance at check-in due to the owner haveing to go out and pick up a duvet cover for a bed. May have just been time for upgrades, but hated to see it come from my deposit. No immediate notification of the problem following checkout, to me it was a cheap way to prevent a return customer.

Owner response:In response, the air conditioning did go out. After learning of this at 9pm, I had a technician there as soon as possible which was at 8am the next day. I do not agree with the statement the guest had to wait 7 weeks, it was 4 weeks from the departure date, which the rental agreement clearly states. The guest did not mention they had to wait 10 minutes is due to the fact I made an exception for them to arrive 2 hours earlier than the stated check in time of 4pm. The guest is correct, I did charge them a very small portion ($75) of their deposit to purchase new fabric for the damaged duvet on the twin bed, which was stained with orange and green markers.

Dream Vacation Property

This was my first time renting a property off of VRBO.COM, and I would stay here again at the Ocean Vistas in a heartbeat. Care went into every little detail in decorating this condo, and Brian was a terrific host. There was PLENTY of room for my husband, me, and my 2 sisters. The condo is right by the elevator on the 6th floor and there were plenty of carts available which made unloading the car a breeze. The Gourmet Kitchen was stocked with everything I needed to entertain my guests and the cookbooks were also a nice touch. We all loved the pool table clubhouse, swimming pools, hot tub, excercise room, free wi-fi, and tons of other amenities that you would not get at other vacation properties. It was far enough away from the spring break crowd but close enough to Publix Grocery Store, IHOP, and plenty of other places to shop and eat. We were very sad when the vacation was over and we had to leave, but look forward to one day vacationing here again.

As advertised, Ocean Vistas is pure luxury and sophistication. The home was exactly as described and is absolutely beautiful. It was real bonus to have Pamela the concierge help us with all of our needs. We loved the fact there was a heated ocean front pool and beach just steps away. Having the Ocean Walk so close was a real bonus, as the kids could go to the movies, arcade or waterpark. My family would highly recommend this home to anyone, and we will definitely be back. Thanks
