Fall: Spectacular fall colors, hunting, fishing Winter: Ski the deepest powder in Colorado at Wolf Creek with nearly non-existent lift lines and groomed runs that satisfy the beginner and intermediate as well as back country skiing that challenges the extreme skier. Additional downhill skiing at Durango Mountain (Purgatory) is 90 minutes away on easy traveling roads. Other winter fun includes cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and ice climbing.
