Maui is magical and there is no better place to experience it than our condo in sunniest part of the island: Kihei, in South Maui. Not only is Kihei sunny virtually every day, but it's location is central to exploring the entire island! New features for 2012 including bathroom, new sofa bed, and new flat screen TV!
Wake up in your KING SIZE FOUR POST BED (a $3000 Simmons Beautyrest pillow top mattress) and a stunning view of Haleakala (Maui's 10,000+ ft volcano). If you wake early enough, you'll see a fantastic show of colors in the sky from your bedroom window! Enjoy coffee on the spacious tiled lanai (patio) as you sit in the chaise lounge or at the table that seats 6. Take a quick stroll (about 40 steps) to the gigantic bluer than blue pool...Take in the lush grounds covering over 5 acres and overflowing with plumeria, hibiscus, palm trees and other tropical plants. Walk out the front door to catch a glimpse of the ocean or stroll across the street to see curious sea turtles or playful whales (during season) or a beautiful sunset. Shops and eats are just 1/2 mile South. Farmers Markets, local crafts nearby. Take a quick drive 2 miles south to Kalama Beach Park or Charley Young, Kamaole I II or III, or 7 miles down to our favorite Makena Beach, or any of the 33 miles of amazing beaches nearby. If you're not in the mood to drive, there is a bus stop just across the street on S Kihei Road. Or shoot up north to take the infamous ROAD TO HANA, or head up to the spiritual IAO VALLEY PARK, upcountry to the vineyard, or go west to explore Kanapalli...it's all a snap coming from Kihei! We gladly offer TOMMY BAHAMA beach chairs and umbrella, a cooler, skim board, boogie board, etc for your use during your stay.
Relax in the outdoor hot tub poolside after a perfect day of beach activities, hiking, exploring and unwinding. Then rest peacefully in the comfy Simmons Beautyrest pillowtop motion control bed and wake to another perfect day in paradise!
The open floor plan of the kitchen and living room allows for the inside of our home to blend with the outside and makes it easy to share the company of friends or family. Our home is kid friendly (since we have two now) and we have a high chair, pack-n-play, greco stroller with shade, jumperoo, toys, books, and booster seat all available upon request. It's also perfect for a couple (newlyweds, retired, or other) The stone shower will wash away your worries and the daily trade winds will whiz away your stress. If you're in the mood to cook, we have a full kitchen with all new appliances, as well as BBQ grills at the Cabana - which can also be reserved for larger group activities (easily seats 30) and includes a small library of books, table tennis, picnic tables, over head lights and fans. World famous restaurants like Cafe O'Lei, Sansei, Da Kitchen, Jawz Tacos, and Five Palms are also nearby, and Mama's Fish House is 20 min away, a foodie's paradise!
Our small resort community consists of 54 units, scattered throughout the lush 5+ acre property. Each building is only 2 stories, making you feel the ohana, "family" atmosphere and Aloha spirit. We are concerned for the environment and use only green cleaning products, soaps, detergent, etc. in our home. We've installed energy efficient appliances, provide filtered drinking water from the fridge, as well as cloth bags for shopping and ask that you kindly recycle. It's the perfect place for our family to escape stress and re-charge our spirits and we hope our home will do the same for you! ALOHA!

We love our condo community because it is non-commercial (it's not a hotel), it blends in with the land, the people that live here are loving and friendly and we immediately felt at home when we pulled into the parking lot. The swimming pool is super big. We look forward to raising our children here!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The bed is amazing. We spent a lot of money on it because we want to be well rested so that we can drink in every once of beauty that Maui has to offer. If your partner moves, you don't feel it. It's firm yet really soft. The position of our unit allows for the trade winds to blow from the lanai through our home, to the front door, quite strong at times, which we find extremely refreshing.

We really enjoy staying at this condo. It's just like our home, everything is ready for us. The location is also convenient to access to the Kihei beach. We love the house and hope to go back to it again.

Condo moderne et fonctionnel. Séjour très agréable dans magnifique décor. Le condo était au-delà de nos attentes et tout était parfait. Wi-fi, cable, magnifique piscine, bien situé, etc.... Je le recommande fortement et y retournerais sans hésiter. Merci à Déborah pour toutes les petites attentions.

Mahalo Deb for welcoming us into your Maui home! Your condo was perfect for our first visit to Maui. Not only was it in a great location, the condo was the perfect size and had everything that we needed...except maybe a pasta strainer. One of the reasons we were drawn to your condo is the fact that you use all natural non-toxic cleaners and soaps. The bed was just as comfortable as everyone says it is. You were a big help with telling us about the natural and organic food stores in Maui - Down To Earth in Kahalui, Mana Foods in Paia and Hawaiian Moon Store in Kihei. With my vegan diet, we had no problem finding restaurants to eat at. Joy's Place, Veg Out, Maui Tacos, Monsoon India and Ono Gelato were all veg friendly. We want to go back to Maui just to go to Ono Gelato again...yummo! It was so easy to get around whether going to Honolua Bay, Lahaina, Paia, Ka'anapali or Wailea and La Perouse Bay. The binder you left on the kitchen island had lots of great information in it and the book "Maui Revealed" was a big help. The free Hula show with children aged 5 to 17 at Whaler's Village was very entertaining. They were very good and so cute...especially the younger ones. We are looking forward to visiting Maui again and would definitely consider another visit to your condo. Aloha Sherry and Hans :)

I Deb, I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks for sharing your wonderful condo with us. Everything we needed was there, easy to find and your resources in the condo along with the recommendations for things to do and food were very helpful. Tara was very appreciative to have the lotions as well, which came in very handy as well after the we retuned home to the cold dry weather so thank you for that as well. We really had an amazing time on the island and couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and fun getaway. We also had a great experience with our condo in Kanapaali so am sold forever on the Homeaway condo rental concept. Thanks again for all your help and a great experience. Aloha Deborah! We recently return from our short stay at your home, and it was perfect! While in town for a wedding, we had activities in Kihei, Lahaina, Paia, and Wailea, and this was such a great central location. The condo is spacious, comfortable and so close to the beach and pool. And while the community has designated quiet time, it really was quiet and relaxing around the clock. If our travel plans ever take us back to Maui (and hopefully they will), we would definitly consider your condo again for our stay. Mahalo for everything!

I took my grandson to Maui for his birthday and this is the first time either one of us has ever been to Hawaii. First I want to thank the owners for their excellent hospitality. They are the absolute sweetest couple I have ever encountered using a vacation condo. Deborah was so very helpful in leaving us scores of information on places to eat, whale watching, Luaus, and all other types of fun and exciting things to do during our stay. The accomodations were phenomenal!!! Although, it was a 1BD/1BA the condo was huge. My grandson had his own space and so did I and YES the beds were so comfortable I could have stayed in it the whole time. The condo was very quiet and serene. Every morning I sat on the Lanai with my cup of coffee or tea and just soaked in the view. It was so close to the beach, we walked across the street and watched the sunset every night. My daughters and I do a girls weekend every year. Well 2010, we are staying here at Kai's condo NO DOUBT!! If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay during your visit to Kihei, definitely choose Kai's condo it was fabulous and so are they. Thank you Deborah for making our stay the best ever! We had a wonderful, peaceful rest at your home! Scott was able to come with me after getting leave about a week before the trip. Your place is fabulous as are the neighbors that reside there! I found it very helpful to have some staples already there which was very nice. Most places do not leave anything in. It is kept very, very clean and I always try to leave places better than I found them--but that was hard to do! You have decorated beautifully and I'm shocked at how huge the condo is! Everything was in perfect working order and very clean. I would love the opportunity to come next February if you are still renting it out. Again--it would be just me unless Scott can tag along (he's a good whale spotter for me!) My goal next year is to run the 5K whale fun run. Aloha Deb, We just got home from our 2-week Hawaii vacation. The island of Maui and staying at your condo was a wonderful way to spend the last part of our journey. The central location of your condo in Kihei was perfect for visiting all parts of the island. Our kids really loved the condo pool. The large area where the water is 2'-3' deep for the younger set was a welcome change from most pools. When we arrived in Kihei we had lunch at Diamonds Bar & Grill, about a mile down S. Kihei Rd. The service and the food were more than one could expect. The owner even pulled up a chair and joined us while the meals were being prepared. A very welcoming place. Lahaina was everything we expected. The luau at the Royal Lahaina Resort was excellent, and much more affordable than most other luaus throughout the islands. The Haleakala sunrise and bike tour was a highlight for me. And kids had a blast at the sacred pools about 10 miles past Hana. We also spent an afternoon at the Maui Ocean Center, which was a very pleasant chance of pace. Once again, thank you. Aloha and mahalo. Bob.
