Year Purchased: 2005
I grew up in Arizona and returned gratefully after spending decades in cold harsh climates where I dreamed every winter of southwestern sunsets and palm trees. Now I have them again. I invite you to share them. My house has a small but fully equipped apartment that goes directly out to the solar-heated pool and large garden patio with a pergola and places to bask or eat. There's a separate private entry to the guest unit, as well as access to good laundry machines. Everything is included. Guests have their own wireless internet, security alarm, premium cable TV, heating/cooling, and cooking facilities. There's plenty of closet space, good light, and an excellent sofa-bed in the den as well as a Stearns & Foster queen bed in the bedroom. Cleaning service is available if you want it. Welcome!
Why the Owner Chose San Clemente
I bought the house because I fell in love with its grace and privacy, its protected gardens, and its location in one of the original Tucson neighborhoods, San Clemente, which is now a nationally designated "historic" district. The house is from 1938; the apartment was added later but is in the same style. The location is excellent -- it's quiet but central, with easy access to restaurants, parks, zoo, tennis, golf, shopping, and the university. It's easy living!
