House has amazing views of the ocean and fort (the last operating fort in North America).
No traffic lights, just wild horses and iguanas, which, sometimes, you must wait for to cross the road.
In Esperanza, a ten minute drive, great snorkeling and lazy cafes on the Malacon. And, don't miss the Bioluminesent Bay - an unknown wonder of the world!

Year Purchased: 2006
I live in Amherst, MA. I am a administrator for schools for "at risk" youths. I have two children who are grown and "launched" - one in college and one working in D.C. I have three properties in Vieques, all of which have been labors of love. I plan to spend most of my time there when I retire (at the very least, a refuge from New England winters!).
