Come and Visit our spacious and peaceful home on the Blue River in the Heart of Summit County. We offer a home which has everything in a location that offers the best access to activities like downhill and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, sledding, ice skating, shopping, fishing, boating, hiking, biking, rafting, and everything else the mountain offer.
Our Mountain Home is located at Blue River Run, on the famous Blue River, just off Highway 9 only 1 mile from I-70. You can reach this within 75 minutes from Denver and you are in the center of Summit County. It is 5 miles from Keystone, 9.5 miles from Breckenridge, 10 miles from Copper Mountain Ski Resort, and only 45 yards from the free Summit Shuttle, which will take you anywhere you wish.
With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms along with luxury accents, this quiet duplex is a great home base for a unforgettable vacation. And you will enjoy the fact that everything you expect in your home is already here, from a fully stocked kitchen, all the staples that you need to cook a delicious meal, to entertainment centers and a reading library with your favorite DVDs, videos, and books. A Wii gaming system along with large Flat screen will make the whole group laugh and enjoy this getaway. Broadband Wi-Fi internet, and computer complete this home with access to information on everything you need.
A Tour of our Home starts with the ground floor with an over sized 2 car garage that is heated. No ice or snow on your vehicle, and you can leave those ski boots in your vehicle and they will still be warm and cozy the next day. There is also the 4th bedroom on this level with bunk beds, a private bathroom and shower, and the large private hot tub.
Go up to the main level and you will find the large living room (900 square feet) with a large deck, fireplace, huge kitchen and dining room. There is also a large powder room on this level. The accents are character wood, natural timbers, and stone with a granite countertop, peeled pine railings, and a large warm fireplace ready and waiting. Our kitchen has a large variety of everything you need from pots, griddles, coffer maker, wine glasses, cups, utensils, spices and staples to make any meal. The little things make a great vacation, and finding that perfect spice already here, will make your best meals easy.
Up to the Top Floor is the main living area with a large master bedroom featuring a flat screen TV and DVD Player, a King Sized Bed with the best in linens, and a large walk in closet and bathroom. The bathroom has 2 sinks and a huge tubs along with space for you both to enjoy. The 2nd bedroom has a computer connected to a broadband connection so you can leave yours at home, and still get information on everything you want to do. The queen sized bed and walk in closet makes this room just as desirous as the master bedroom. Enjoy the plush mattress and down comforter along with a great view of the 3 Peaks mountain side. The 3rd bedroom completes this floor with a pillow top mattress for a beautiful night sleep. The huge 12x5 bathroom for the guest rooms includes an oversized tub/shower, a large countertop with 2 sinks and storage for everything you can bring.

Why the Owner Chose Blue River Run
We love the peace of a Gold Medal River, the Blue River. Summit County can be a busy place, and this location enjoys the quiet of the River, and lots of space and can be accessed without the traffic of Wildernest, Keystone, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, or Frisco. This area is very private because all the units are owned by families and only half are occupied at one time. No professional management companies crowding people in. This unit is large and spacious with all the small luxuries that you want on a vacation. With 10 foot ceilings and beautiful accents Blue River Run is unique. Great kitchen, lots of bathrooms, heated covered parking (no ice or snow on your vehicle), flat screen TVs, and Blu Ray DVD entertainment center with Wii gaming, and a huge private hot tub.
The Unique Benefits at this Duplex
The reason we love this area is "Peace, Relaxation, and Activities." In the Winter, you are within 7 miles from the best skiing in America with easy access to Keystone, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain either a short drive away or catch the free shuttle 50 yards from our place. Vail or Beaver Creek is another 30 minutes away but adds another wonderful ski area. Half a mile down the road is the Raven Golf Course which offers Free groomed cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and great lunches. Another half mile away is a traditional ice skating pond with skate rental available. You can create some great memories beyond the traditional ski vacation. The Silverthorne Rec Center is .5 miles away with fantastic water rides, huge exercise gym, and enjoyable steam and jacuzzi rooms. Great restaurants all around invite you to try everything from sushi, to Italian, to great steak and fresh fish. In Summer, the Blue River is a Gold Medal River that means in over 9000 miles of rivers in Colorado, only 167 miles have this kind of great fishing and can be designated Gold Medal. It is also beautiful with a new bike path the criss-crosses the river and connects with the Dillon Dam Trails, and Keystone, Frisco, and Breckenridge for over 100 miles of perfect walking, biking bliss. There are hundreds of hiking trails within 10 miles including some easy walks, some beautiful peaks and lakes, and even a 200 ft waterfall. You will see wonderful wildlife including deer, elk, ducks, wild birds, beaver, squirrels, chipmunks, and eagles. Championship Mountain golf is half a mile away at the Intrawest managed, Raven at Tree Peaks. Come and enjoy the natural beauty and activities that will make you glad to have a private hot tub at the end of each day. We think this is truly an escape from our usually hectic lives and a chance to focus on what is truly important.

We love Silverthorne in the heart of Summit County because, you can enjoy all the winter and summer activities within a few miles of our place and then come home to a great hot tub, a great kitchen and some great food.
