This 3000 sq. foot mountain top home overlooking the Town of Banner Elk on one side and backing to Beech Mountain Ski Slopes on other features 2 large decks with panoramic long range views, a game room complete with full-sized pool table, foosball, shuffleboard, poker table top, wet bar and other games. At 5500 feet above sea level, the altitude equals that of Denver, CO which makes Beech Mountain the highest town east of the Mississippi.
This house is one of the few sitting on top of Beech Mountain, so its breath-taking mile high view can not be found in many other homes. The home also features a hot tub, 10 person mountain style dining table, complete kitchen, a stunning 20-foot high great room with floor to ceiling windows and wood stove, and ample games to entertain family and friends after a day of enjoying the area's multitude of outdoor activities.
The slopes are located just across the street, with an intermediate level trail for ski in/ski out.
There are 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The Master bedroom is located on the top floor, overlooking the main living room and its spectacular views. The upstairs bathroom features a separate shower. The living room on the main floor has a large sectional sofa and ample seating in the dining area for large groups. The Murphy Bed and another full bath are also located on this level. The bottom floor is where the remaining two bedrooms (one queen bed and two twins) the third full bathroom, the sleeper sofa and game room are located.
This house provides perfect backdrop for an adventurous time away all year round.

Two families share in this quaint home away from home. We are both from Charlotte, NC and enjoy spending as much time in the beautiful mountains as we can. As an additional amenity and security for all our renters, we provide access to a local agent for information about area attractions, key pick up, and other onsite assistance.
