About the owner: Long-time wooden boat-builder, sculler, rowing coach and author of the award-winning book, Rowable Classics, Darryl Strickler welcomes you to The Boathouse at 46 Water Street in Thomaston, Maine. Come for a few days, or a few weeks, or a few months and enjoy Mid-Coast Maine and row with us on the St. Georges, on nearby lakes or just relax and enjoy your favorite activities.
Why the Owner Chose Thomaston:
We wanted a boathouse ON the water, so the choice was easy!
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
The property has the dual advantage of being close to everything, but off the tourist track and very quiet at night. There is first-class, uncrowded restaurant and cafe within walking distance in a quaint seafaring town that was founded in 1605. Museums and shops are nearby.
