"See Ya by the sea" was probably one of the best, most relaxing vacations for me in a long time. With 7 busy children, this home had it all. The great location and safe neighborhood was good for riding the fantastic bikes that are provided. The beach toys and cart were so nice, the pool, beautiful. The beds really comfortable, the view from the master...breathtaking. Connie was really great to work with. We found the donut car, :) more than once. The golf cart made it easy to check on or follow kids. The rooms, beautiful and comfortable, enough games, movies and toys to keep everyone happy. The only thing that bothered us was that a few supplies, toilet paper, bathroom soap, trash bags, dishwasher soap were not there. A quick trip to the grocery, which is close, fixed that. Enjoyed our stay!!

Ron & Connie are so nice to work with and you can tell they love their home. It is beautiful and my family had a great vacation experience. You don't need to take anything but your swimsuit and toothbrush because everything you need is there from beach and pool toys to bikes and the golf cart. Could not say enough good things about the cart or the beach trolley to get around. The mattresses were very comfortable which we have found in other places is not always true; the paintings and decor were a perfect match to the beach; and the furniture was suited to adults as well as our smaller grandsons. Their home comfortably met our three families' needs giving us each our own space. Putting all the boys downstairs gave the adults a lot more quiet time too. There were a lot of restaurants and gift shops within walking distance. We found the donut shop and Shades nearby and probably gained a few pounds from just those two places. If there was anything I would change about the Miller's home and our stay, it would be that it lasted longer than one week. We definitely plan to go back on our next vacation.

This home was perfect for all ages. We had 2 year old girls and a 91 year old Great Grandmother and I dont know who had a better time. The golf cart was a life saver on hot Florida afternoons and the FREE pick up service was perfect after a long day @ the pool. Go to Geaorge's Restaurant or cook on the grill. We used ever one of the houses 6 patios and balconies! Dont look any further! Rent this house!!!

We are glad our house has no steps from sidewalk into completly tiled first floor making it easy enter through a large main door & and wide hallway accessing large setting area with tv, two patios, bedroom, full bath making you feel like you in your own living space. The general area offers so much. Great place to ride the 8 bikes and yes the street legal electric golf car is the envy of all. Oh my, we have spent 22 years in different condos in the Destin/Sand Destin area. For the first time, we ventured out to Seacrest. Honestly, we may never stay in Destin again. Seacrest is a safe, wonderful community filled fun for all ages. The condo is perfect! It is beautiful and well stocked. The owners thought of everything!!! We celebrated my daughter's graduation from high school and our 22nd Anniversary while we were there. We have nothing but fond memories to cherish. Thanks for the use of the golf cart; it was awesome. The bikes were a tremendous blessing as well. Check out the events in Rosemary and Allys. We enjoyed outdoor movies, concerts, and fireworks...all free! We hope to return one day...thanks for sharing your home.

My experience on this vacation was more than a high end rental, but a home. I am quite particular, and quite honestly a neat freek. This beach house was spotless, which extremely pleased my wife. It is a perfect spot for fun in the sun, while just kickin' back and relaxing. This vacation was so perfect. With every ammenity from fully furnished rooms, blu-ray and dvd players, kids games, books, nintendo wii and gamecube, fast internet, plasma tv's, fireplace, two walk-out balconies, jacuzzi tub, double sinks in master bath, specialized kids room with tons of movies, bikes for the whole family, gas grill, beach toys, beach chairs, electric street legal golf cart(with rims and leather real NICE), outdoor coolers for beach, dinning china, every kitchenware possibly needed, additional refrigerator in garage for steaks, and the list goes on. If this wern't enough, you get to look outside and see breathtaking views like the ocean, sugar white beaches, and by the way your front neighbor is Michael Jordan. You are defintely in good company. It may seem that I am very impressed with this home, and you would be right. There may be less expensive homes to rent, but this one will provide more value than any other. The money you will save by cooking and not renting the extras will add up quickly. If you have an opportunity to spend a a week on the most beautiful beaches in the world do not pass this listing by. You will not be dissapointed. The question isn't were to rent but when to come back. We have already rebooked for next year. Thanks again to the Millers for a great and memorable vacation.

My family went to the beach over labor day weekend and the following week. We were beyond happy with the whole experience! Beautiful property, beautiful area, and gorgeous beach! We stayed at this home in July 2010. The amenities were great! There were so many things that we were able to enjoy (beach toys, bikes, floats, and our favorite "the golf cart." We were close to the pool and beach-loved the beach tram. The house was beautifully decorated, large enough for our big group and stocked with toys for all ages. Thanks for having such a wonderful property that my large "modern" family could enjoy! We all had a very special time there! Oh and the beaches were white and beautiful!!!! We can't wait to go back! GREAT HOME!!

We had a wonderful time at "See Ya by the Sea". The home is in a great location, generously equipped to handle any and all of your needs. My wife and 3 year old daughter vacationed here with another family who also have a young child and two teenagers. We all had plenty of space, and never felt "ontop" of each other. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. You will love the views from the decks along with the great breeze. The golf car is a one of a kind and makes you feel like one of the locals when driving it. It is hard to even drive around the neighborhood without people asking you about it. The garage is well stocked with bicycles and even some ocean/pool toys! The pool is a short walk away and one of the largest we have ever seen or had the opportunity to swim in! Even in the afternoons when there seemed to be a large volume of people swimming, the feeling of having only a small place to swim and play was never there. Thank you for allow us to stay at your wonderful home. If you are looking for a place to vacation in FL, look no further this one is PERFECT!!!

No Oil Disaster Here!

My family and I just returned from a fun-filled week at See ‘Ya by the Sea. The beach was absolutely beautiful and we saw no signs of oil or tar balls the entire week. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it any prettier. The sugar white sand and the gorgeous turquoise-blue water reminded me of the Bahamas. We had 4-5 foot waves one day, which was not the safest of swimming conditions, but it definitely added to the beauty. Even after the high surf, there were still no signs of oil or tar balls - no seaweed or jellyfish either. The house is decorated just beautifully with a beach theme throughout which creates a “beachy” feeling whether you’re inside or out. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed to prepare just about any meal you can think of. There is a wide variety of utensils and kitchen gadgets which only add to the ease of cooking. Most places we have stayed have had just enough to get by - but not this place. There is more than one of just about everything so if you haven’t run the dishwasher yet, it’s no big deal. I can’t say enough about the pool area. It is fantastic! We have stayed at many, many locations on the beach over the years and this pool has to be ranked at the top of the list. It’s perfect for little ones as well as adults. We couldn’t believe all the beach toys, bicycles, wagons, chairs, etc., in the garage. We could have easily left all of our beach toys and chairs at home and never missed them. The extra refrigerator in the garage came in very handy for storing drinks and made it so convenient to grab drinks for the cooler on the way to the pool or beach. The golf cart was especially appreciated since my son sprained his ankle on the second day and was on crutches for the remainder of the trip. I am recovering from recent surgery myself so it was wonderful to have it for the both of us. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. You have done a fantastic job with the place. It seems you have thought of everything!

Family Vacation

See Ya By the Sea was just as described on VRBO - and more! We loved everything. Kitchen was fully stocked with appliances/dishes/utencils and cooking tools - pretty much everything you could think of. Some of the photos didn't do justice to the decor - very nice job Connie! Connie and Ron were so helpful and easy to reach - I feel like they really cared about us having a great experience/vacation. I'd definitely recommend this property to others and I'm sure we'll be back - great beach, pool, golf cart, bikes, and anything else you might need. We had some bad weather but we were able to go to the movies, do some shopping, and go bowling all very nearby or within 10-20 minutes. The area is filled with inside and outside activity choices.

Wonderful Vacation Home

We had a wonderful vacation experience at "See Ya by the Sea." The home is well equipped and we lacked for nothing while there. The bedrooms are all spacious and the linens luxurious. The views from the decks are great and there always seemed to be a nice ocean breeze. We took 4 children...my 2 grandsons and 2 girls, ages 11 and 13--(who had never been to Florida.) They all enjoyed riding bikes every day and the pool is just fantastic for everyone. The golf cart is a beauty. We took the kids for a few short rides thru the neighborhood. I saw some envious looks every time from the neighbors! There's also lots of movies, toys and games so the kids found things to do when the midday sun got too hot to get outside. There's grocery stores near the area which made things convenient and Pier Park, a short ride away, is fantastic for dining and shopping. We also loved riding our bikes thru the neighborhood at Rosemary Beach. Such a quaint community. Our only regret is we didn't get to attend church at the townhall Sunday morning. I can't think of a single thing about this house that made our stay less than perfect. I did slip twice and fell once on the tiling, but that was due to some water that had gotten on the floors. We did encounter tar balls on the beach one day and by evening, they had gotten bad enough that we couldn't walk or get into the water. This is heartbreaking for everyone, whether you live in Florida or not. What this has done to the people who depend on the gulf for their livelihood is beyond any of our comprehension. The devastation to the sealife is gutwrenching. My thoughts and prayers go to everyone affected by this disaster. Thank you again for a wonderful stay at your lovely home. Maybe someday we will be able to return.

See "Ya" by the Sea was wonderful! Loved the house and the view! The house was well stocked with cooking gear you would need to make any kind of meal,.There were movies, games and toys for the kids. My nephew looked forward everyday to going to a closet to find a new treasure! The house location is terrific for either the pool or the beach. The golf car was alot of fun...and got alot of attention! Most of all we thank Connie and Ron for opening up their beautiful home to our family. A Perfect Family Vacation

We had an incredible family vacation at See "Ya" by the Sea! The house is beautiful and spacious. The location is excellent. Everything you need to have a great vacation is provided in the house. There is a TV and DVD in almost every room and a huge selection of movies. There are video games, board games, legos, dolls, and a huge variety of toys for the kids. In the garage there are bikes, golf clubs, fishing gear, sand toys, beach chairs, a gas grill, and the coolest golf cart I have ever seen! The kids loved riding the bikes around this quiet neighborhood. I am glad that bikes came with the house because it would have cost us $120 to rent 6 bikes for just 1 day. Everybody loved riding in style on the coolest golf cart around! It is really nice to be able to drive the golf cart to nearby restaurants and shopping. The pool is gorgeous. The pool area is so large and well laid out that we never felt crowded and the kids certainly never got board. Of course the beach is absolutely amazing. The white sand is beautiful. There were boogie boards and sand toys in the garage that the kids put to good use. I was also thrilled to see that there were fishing poles and tackle in the garage. We had a great time surf-fishing on the beach. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great vacation.

Hendersonvillians Highly Recommend

First my apologies on the delay of this review. We stayed there last Spring Break and LOVED it from the moment we arrived. The best thing about this place...location, location, location. You are not in the commercial area with traffic and crazy kids. You are in a neighborhood where you are conveniently located within walking distance to cafes, upscale restaurants, shops and markets. We loved going out each morning for a bike ride or a walk. The house is decorated professionally but is very comfortable. The master upstairs has a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed sitting on the decks (yes one on the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor) each morning and drinking our coffee while viewing the ocean and watching the walkers, runners, and bikers. I could go on and on about our favorite place to stay in Destin but I'll some it up with it is worth every penny. These owners are very generous with providing the bicycles, the golf cart, the pool accessories and everything you need from movies, books, cookware, and 2 refrigerators. Book it, you won't regret it!
