Lone Moose 101 is a corner unit of a small condo development all to itself nestled at the base of the mountains. Views are unobstructed on 3 sides from any of our 3 decks up the mountains to the slopes. True ski in - ski out with a dedicated lift for the development. Ski over to all of Big Sky's enormous terrain and enjoy the absence of lift lines in this resort. Break up your trip with a visit to Yellowstone Park which is less than an hour's drive. Fantastic cross country trails are also available.
For the summer months, the fishing is outstanding in the Blue Ribbon Gallatin and Madison Rivers. And a white water rafting trip is a must. Yellowstone is full of life in the summer, and numerous hiking and biking trails are all over the area. We see wildlife every trip and nearly every day, often right from our unit.
Our large, family friendly unit is a comfortable way to see the area and enjoy all that Big Sky and Montana has to offer.

Why the Owner Chose Lone Moose Meadows
Montana is pristine and full of space. Big Sky has a huge ski area with no lines. To be able to break up a ski vacation with a trip on snowmobiles into Yellowstone Park is a special treat. If you prefer, a major cross country ski resort with extensive trails is a mile down the road. Plus, the area boasts 3 blue ribbon trout streams for some of the best fishing in the country. A creek bubbles by right outside the unit. This small condo development of three buildings (4 units in our building) is all to itself with nothing but a ski lift and a panorama of mountains in sight. Wonderful year round destination. We see wildlife from our unit every trip.
