This beautiful year round cedar shingle vacation home is situated on 112 feet of waterfront on the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix between Charlevoix and East Jordan. Close to other local ski resorts like Boyne Highlands and Nub's Nob. Just minutes from the Castle of Charlevoix, one of the most popular locations in Michigan for destination weddings.
Each room of this brand new home has been decorated with high quality and comfortable furnishings. Large great room and dining area provide plenty of room for entertaining. Great room has high ceilings, stone fireplace, 48 inch plasma TV (with blu-ray DVD player and X-Box 360 with Kinect) and three sets of French doors that open to a wide deck and overlook Lake Charlevoix. The spacious ground floor master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in closet, vanity area, wall of windows with spectacular sunrise views and French doors opening out onto a large deck.
The second floor guest room with incredible Lake Charlevoix views has a queen size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa. The large third bedroom is great for kids or can accommodate an entire family with two double beds and a daybed. There is a loft upstairs with a convertible twin sleeper chair. A daybed with additional trundle spring bed in the foyer converts into a king size bed for additional sleeping room.
A spacious outdoor deck facing the lake is furnished with additional dining table, gas DCS barbecue grill, heat lamp, outdoor speakers and Adirondack chairs.

Why the Owner Chose Charlevoix
This lakefront site on the widest part of the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix is ideal. There are gorgeous unobstructed views of Lake Charlevoix from all over the house, deck and property. The South Arm of Lake Charlevoix is more sheltered from other parts of the lake, which is perfect for swimming, boating, water skiing and tubing. Lake Charlevoix is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world and provides direct boating access to Lake Michigan through the channel in downtown Charlevoix. The house is conveniently located between the towns of Charlevoix and East Jordan; is only three miles South of the Ironton Ferry (which provides easy access in season across Lake Charlevoix to Boyne City); and is only minutes away from Boyne Mountain for winter skiing.

I grew up spending as much time as I could at my family's vacation home on Lake Charlevoix. Summers for me were full of boating and swimming on Lake Charlevoix and taking longer day trips out on Lake Michigan; going to downtown Charlevoix and watching the boats pass under the drawbridge; watching the boat parade and fireworks during the Venetian Festival; and playing on the many sand beaches in the Charlevoix area. During the Fall, we would take walks or drives and admire the glorious Northern Michigan Fall color show. Winters were spent skiing, snowmobiling, sledding and ice skating. In Spring, we would take walks in the woods hunting for Morel mushrooms and admiring all the beautiful wild flowers or we would stroll in charming neighboring towns like Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Boyne City. After meeting my husband while living in New York City, he too fell in love with Lake Charlevoix so much so that we packed up the family and moved to Michigan hoping to one day fulfill our dream of having a vacation home on Lake Charlevoix. I am thrilled to now be able to share this magical place with my own family and to be able to invite you to come and enjoy Lake Charlevoix and our beautiful home. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do and find that you will want to come back again and again.

This lake house is wonderful. It is well equipped, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. This home is every bit as beautiful as the website pictures demonstrate. We will definitely rent this home again for ski vacations in Northern Michigan.

Wonderful home with beautiful surroundings. House has lots of space and is tastefully decorated: our group of 12 (family reunion) never felt cramped. The kitchen has top notch equipment and we were able to enjoy cooking several gourmet meals. The sandy beach and dock are perfect for a fun day by the water. The owners were very helpful and gracious at all times. We enjoyed the local wine they welcomed us with. Their binder is full of information on the area which we found very useful. Perhaps the only complaint is for the house to have only two showers: for a place sleeping 14, an extra shower could certainly be welcome.

The home, lake, and all amenities were perfect for ourselves, our adult children, and our grandchildren. The house is modern, large and suitable for all ages. We immediately booked for the following year, after our stay. Owners were totally responsive to our needs. Great place to stay in a great part of the world.

Our family totally enjoyed our stay at this property on Lake Charlevoix. The house was beautiful and beyond our expectations. Everything was new and top of the line. Very roomy -- more so than even the photos depict. The fire pit, dock and swimming rafts were a bonus. The entire lake was great but where the house is situated on the South Arm was perfect for water skiing, tubing, ect. Our kids -- all teenagers who can be hard to please loved every minute and commented it was one of the best vacations we have taken! We are hoping to return again soon! The owners were also very accomodating and great to work with.
