Why the Owner Chose Wawasee
I built the home in this location because of the view, sandy beach and reputation of the lake. The home is located close to Ft Wayne, Indianapolis and Chicago.
The Unique Benefits at this House
My family and I love the summer lake activities but fall and winter are awesome also. It is very peaceful after Labor Day. The ice fishing is great and we love to snowmobile. My wife and I go up often to enjoy a roaring fire and privacy.

We were at the home for three weeks and had a blast every day. The home is very convenient to town, on a quiet street, and has wonderful neighbors! The home is well equipped and conducive to group entertainment. Tvs are abundant (with dvd players), the garage game room is great for all ages, the channel dock is perfect for your water toys - out of the wake of the lake, and the flat lot is good for those who can't handle steps- one tiny step from front yard through house and out to front pier. The pictures on the site are accurate - no surprises! The owner and caretaker were always available and responsive- can't ask for much else. A GREAT VACATION!!!

This was our third year renting this beautiful home for our family vacation. The house has everything you need and is very roomy! There is a dock in the back for our boat and waverunner, behind the terrific game room with foosball and ping pong :) Lake Wawasee has SO much to do between having fun at the house you can keep active doing other activities. We love hanging out at the sandbar or just staying around home and watching the kids in the nice shallow water out back. We play corn hole several times a day and the neighbors are great! If you want a nice relaxing place to stay we would HIGHLY recommend contacting Mark for a time..it books up QUICK! Enjoy :)

Our family of 10 just returned from a week stay at this lovely lakehouse retreat. What a great vacation spot! All you have to do is look at the pictures and you can see that it is a beautiful, new home.The bedrooms are spacious. The master bedroom suite is beautiful, and the balcony has a beautiful view of the lake. There is a bedroom with a full bathroom on the first level. This would be perfect if you have a person who can't climb stairs. Not only is the kitchen well equipped with utensils, and updated appliances; but it is very large, with a big table, which is wonderful for a large group. The living area was also especially nice for our family. There was a large sectional couch that seated everyone. We did not have warm weather, but with the game room, TVs, videos, the beautiful yard, cornhole, and bicycles, we found plenty to do. I can only imagine how great it would be to swim, and boat on this beautiful lake. The water was crystal clear. Mark, the owner, is quick to respond to calls and messages. He is friendly and works with you to make your time as stress free as possible. We hope to return soon. We would give the lakehouse the highest recommendation.

My family of 11 (6 kids age 1 to 17) enjoyed a week at this beautiful and well equipped home, We enjoyed boating, jet skis, fishing and the lake in front of the home was perfect for the small kids to play - shallow up to the end of the long dock and very clean. Wawasee is a huge lake so it never seemed too crowded with boats. We only ate out a couple of times and mostly cooked in - kitchen very nice. Kids played in the yard - corn hole etc. and the garage in back was a big hit with ping pong and foosball. Will certainly recommend to friends.
