We really enjoyed our stay at the Bear Run Townhome. The owners have done a wonderful job updating this townhome and have paid close attention to details. The layout was great, it was beautifully furnished, very clean and tidy, excellent amenities, and the owners were very nice to work with. Our kids enjoyed the big screen tv and surround sound at night to watch their movies. The kitchen was set up perfectly and had everything we could have asked for in a rental unit. Cooking while being able to keep an eye on the kids in the living room area was a bonus. The location is great whether you are skiing, hiking, biking, or traveling to other locations in VT. We would definitely recommend this townhome to anyone visiting Bolton Valley or nearby areas!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Glenn and Lynne, Thanks you for the use of your home. We had our daughter’s wedding at the Ponds and your home was just the perfect place for pictures with our entire family. We truly enjoyed the views and ALL the snow. We did get to ski one day and it was the best skiing. Your new bathroom and fireplace is beautiful and we spent many nights talking with the family by the fire. Thank you so much and your home and everything was what my daughter dreamed her wedding to be. Thank you, Phil and Sue PADid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Lynne and Glenn, This has been truly magical stay for us at Bolton Valley. Instead of Christmas presents this year my parents decided to take me, my siblings and or significant others on a ski trip. What a great idea. A few of our family members thought so as well, so they came up and stayed in hotel nearby. We all hung out in the house in the evenings after skiing/boarding all day and cooked dinner together, played games and sang songs, before we all got sleepy and climbed into bunk beds. Whispers before drifting off to sleep reminded me of camp and made me feel like a kid again. It was my boyfriends first time snowboarding on this vacation. This was quite an amazing thing for me to experience. We got him lessons his first half day and I stayed close to him, watching tumble after tumble. It truly a joy to see that by the end of third day on the mountain he was able to keep up with all experienced skiers and boarders and even landed a few jumps. I was sooo proud. Thanks you so much for this beautiful home to stay in. We had a blast.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Dear Glenn and Lynne: Thank you very much for allowing us to stay on your condo. We had an awesome time and it has become one of those unforgettable experiences. It is a beautiful place and for this short time we could call it home. Everything was as it was described on the internet page; very clean, beautifully furnished, comfortable kitchen and living room, spacious rooms with their own private bathrooms. Having the ski resort so close was amazing even when there are kids. The view was amazing and the sunsets seen from the house were beautiful. Thank you again for allowing us to stay there. We hope that in the future we can stay again.Owner response: Thanks, we saw that the kids had a blast, very nice igloo out the back door.

Our family moved to Vermont from out-of-state and needed a temporary place to stay while looking for our permanent first home. We are so thankful that we found Glenn & Lynne's condo - it was perfect for our family of 5 adults for our two month stay. SO roomy, very clean, plenty of sleeping space, 3-1/2 baths, very quiet, beautiful views - it has it all. We felt right at home, and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and comfort of the condo. Glenn & Lynne Browning were very accommodating landlords and very easy to do business with....communication with them was always prompt. We are going to recommend their condo to family members that come to Vermont to visit us in the future. Thanks, Glenn & Lynne!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our party of 4 adults and 2 children coudn't have been happier with this townhouse and Bolton Valley. It's always nerve wracking to rent a place that you are not familiar with, but let me assure you that this place is well worth it. We had more than enough room with the king bedroom on the top floor, and the queen bedroom and bunk room on the first floor. Every amenity you could ask for (and then some) was provided: TV's in every room (with a full complement of kids channels), full bath for every bedroom, views to die for from every window, plenty of bath towels and kitchen appliances. The condo was perfect, and just as described on the website. It was very clean and everything seemed new (I personally loved the washer/dryer, it's a million times better than mine!) and perfectly maintained. We were not expecting to have soap and shampoo in all the showers, soap by all the sinks, dish detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. As Glenn told me, all we needed to bring was food and coffee to get through the week and he was right! There was a ton of adult/kid board games in the closet, DVD's, and the boot/glove dryer was the best investment of the condo as far as I was concerned. It worked like a charm to have bone dry boots and gloves to ski with in the morning. We had a lot of questions before we went, and Glenn was super fast about getting back to us. During our stay, I emailed him a few times with questions, and he got back to me immediately with each question. As for skiing at Bolton Valley, the condo is just a few steps away to a trail that you can get right on to ski to the lift. It was soooo nice not to have to drive to a ski lodge every day, just ski out the back door then back again for a relaxing lunch, then back out again for the afternoon. I highly recommend this property. We are hoping to return again next year for another week! Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you to Glenn and Lynne for maintaining such a beautiful home and so professionally taking care of their guests.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks for the kind words..

We came to VT for a little mid-week ski vacation getaway with our two teenage daughters. We arrived after dark, and didn't get the full perspective of the tremendous view outside the front of the unit until the next morning~what a breathtaking sight to awaken to! Words cannot express how clean and well put together this unit is. It's so incredibly spacious and comfortable and took no time at all for us to settle in and feel at home (without all the chores that go along with it!). The girls felt like princesses; each taking their own large bedroom on the first floor, and we settled into the lovely master bedroom on the top floor. All the rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with all the comforts of home, and then some! The warmth and comfort of the decor is felt immediately when entering the unit, and quickly puts you in a relaxed mood from the start. The kitchen is bright, grande and lively, chock full of all the needed accessories to whip up a wonderful apres ski feast. I love how this unit is three stories, providing adequate space for all of us well beyond what we needed. This condo could easily accommodate 10, and while there, we even thought how fun it would be to share our vacation experience at Bear Run with friends next time, as this unit is not short on space! Vacationing with three girls when you're the only guy is not an easy task, and I usually have empathy for my poor fiance, but not this time! This condo made it truly easy for us all, with three spacious bathrooms, and none of us had to compete for the shower! The Timberline chair which enables Bear Run ski-in/ski-out accessibility was closed while visiting, as Mother Nature hasn't been cooperating this winter, but you can't beat the short jaunt by car to the main lift of Bolton Valley, two minutes up the road, and despite the lack of snow this year, the skiing was fun and lift attendants were very personable and friendly. Best of all...absolutely no lift lines! I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the mountains of VT, whether you're an avid skier like us, or interested in seeing all the many area attractions VT has to offer; all in close proximity to Bear Run. The Fall season must be a breathtaking explosion of color right outside your window, with thousands of miles to explore for hiking~we need to return!! ;) Many thanks to Lynne and Glenn for their outstanding job in providing us with such an amazing home away from home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Glenn and Lynne have a clean, comfortable, and elegant home. Our guests were pleased with condo and all of its amenities. We hosted a reunion of a professional group of environmental leaders and their spouses. This was a great place to cook meals together, entertain, and rest. Glenn was kind enough to provide us with discount coupons to Bolton Valley and though the Timberline area was not open, our guests enjoyed snowshoeing up and skiing down the fresh snow on the trails. We are really pleased with our stay at Bear Run Condo.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
