We really enjoyed our stay at the Bear Run Townhome. The owners have done a wonderful job updating this townhome and have paid close attention to details. The layout was great, it was beautifully furnished, very clean and tidy, excellent amenities, and the owners were very nice to work with. Our kids enjoyed the big screen tv and surround sound at night to watch their movies. The kitchen was set up perfectly and had everything we could have asked for in a rental unit. Cooking while being able to keep an eye on the kids in the living room area was a bonus. The location is great whether you are skiing, hiking, biking, or traveling to other locations in VT. We would definitely recommend this townhome to anyone visiting Bolton Valley or nearby areas!

We came to VT for a little mid-week ski vacation getaway with our two teenage daughters. We arrived after dark, and didn't get the full perspective of the tremendous view outside the front of the unit until the next morning~what a breathtaking sight to awaken to! Words cannot express how clean and well put together this unit is. It's so incredibly spacious and comfortable and took no time at all for us to settle in and feel at home (without all the chores that go along with it!). The girls felt like princesses; each taking their own large bedroom on the first floor, and we settled into the lovely master bedroom on the top floor. All the rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with all the comforts of home, and then some! The warmth and comfort of the decor is felt immediately when entering the unit, and quickly puts you in a relaxed mood from the start. The kitchen is bright, grande and lively, chock full of all the needed accessories to whip up a wonderful apres ski feast. I love how this unit is three stories, providing adequate space for all of us well beyond what we needed. This condo could easily accommodate 10, and while there, we even thought how fun it would be to share our vacation experience at Bear Run with friends next time, as this unit is not short on space! Vacationing with three girls when you're the only guy is not an easy task, and I usually have empathy for my poor fiance, but not this time! This condo made it truly easy for us all, with three spacious bathrooms, and none of us had to compete for the shower! The Timberline chair which enables Bear Run ski-in/ski-out accessibility was closed while visiting, as Mother Nature hasn't been cooperating this winter, but you can't beat the short jaunt by car to the main lift of Bolton Valley, two minutes up the road, and despite the lack of snow this year, the skiing was fun and lift attendants were very personable and friendly. Best of all...absolutely no lift lines! I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the mountains of VT, whether you're an avid skier like us, or interested in seeing all the many area attractions VT has to offer; all in close proximity to Bear Run. The Fall season must be a breathtaking explosion of color right outside your window, with thousands of miles to explore for hiking~we need to return!! ;) Many thanks to Lynne and Glenn for their outstanding job in providing us with such an amazing home away from home!

Glenn and Lynne have a clean, comfortable, and elegant home. Our guests were pleased with condo and all of its amenities. We hosted a reunion of a professional group of environmental leaders and their spouses. This was a great place to cook meals together, entertain, and rest. Glenn was kind enough to provide us with discount coupons to Bolton Valley and though the Timberline area was not open, our guests enjoyed snowshoeing up and skiing down the fresh snow on the trails. We are really pleased with our stay at Bear Run Condo.

Such a lovely and well equipped condo! We were pleased to find 3 floors of living space with multiple bed options, all made up for our arrival. This unit is clean, comfy and renovated nicely. It was a super weekend, and our kids asked if we could move in full time!
Owner response:We hope all who stay have as great a time as we do. Thanks, Glenn and Lynne

Glenn and Lynne, "We can't thank you enough for opening up your absolutely lovely home to us. Our time has been fabulous, (and we weren't even able to ski) You've made such a cozy sanctuary in the mountains. We fell in love with the area-so much to see and do. We will definitely be making a return trip soon! Thank you again for your generosity and hospitality, Yours Truly" (Guests)

We had a wonderful time in Bolton. The townhouse was beautiful and perfect for our us and our 3 kids. We had great skiing since it snowed a total of 20 inches in 7 days we were there! I would highly recommend this rental. I think it would be nice in the summer too!

Our family (children and grandchildren) rented this ski in-ski out condo on the mountain at Bolton Valley Ski Area for a week in March 2011. The condo was perfect. It provided all we needed in terms of amenities, comfort, convenience and privacy. The three levels allowed for group activities on the second levels and bedrooms on the first for the kids and grand kids and on the third level for Gramm and Pop Pop. The computer setup outside the third floor bedroom was well used. We liked it so much will be back for a month in 2012. In addition to the outstanding condo, we think that the Bolton Valley Ski Area is great for many reasons including the following: - skiing: well groomed trails and glades for all ability levels - people: residents, visitors and employees are friendly, courteous, non pretentious and helpful - access: convenient from either from Burlington Airport a half hour or so away or from I89/Route 2 which brings you to the BV access road - weather: average six degree drop up the access road from Route 2 to base lodge due to 1500 foot elevation rise; seems to snow daily due to orographic lift, lake effect and ocean effect snow; perfect combination for lots of snow which was shoulder deep in March - value: reasonable prices compared to other New England ski areas and a much less than a comparable vacation in the Rockies -family orientation -non (downhill) skiing activities: snow shoeing, x country skiing, rec center with pool and restaurants at BV and nearby attractions like Ben & Jerry’s, Green Mountain Coffee, Vermont Teddy Bear, Trapp Family Lodge, Cabot Cheese, Stowe and the city of Burlington and all it offers all within a half hour or so from the mountain

Our family stayed at the condo for graduation weekend at UVM. Everything at the condo was in perfect order and it was a wonderful place to relax outside of the city in-between events in Burlington. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made it easy to serve our family group.

This is a lovely unit from which you can see Bolton Valley skiiers go by. There are 3 floors and it is very well set up for 2 families to share, with room for the kids and one set of parents in the ground floor bedrooms and the other adults on the third floor. The ski are per se is nice for families. Stowe and Smuggs are significantly farther away. The furnishings are quite nice and the kitchen is well appointed.
