Owner's Profile

Owner Description

Year Purchased: 2005

I am an avid traveler and the third generation of my family to own in Cohasset.

Why the Owner Chose Cohasset

My grandparents first moved to Cohasset more than fifty years ago looking to escape the city. The same thing that brought them to town fifty years ago - the stunning beauty of the ocean, the small town community, and plethora of outdoors activities - is why we decided to purchase in Cohasset.

The Unique Benefits of this Apartment

Our property provides the perfect location to enjoy everything the community has to offer. You are a five minute walk from some of the best restaurants in the area, charming shops that sell one-of-a-kind items, and the harborfront that supports an active fishing and lobstering community.

In the summer the focus tends to be beaching and boating - we provide a parking pass to our local resident's beach and can connect you with one of the local captains for fishing, sailing, or a pleasure cruise.

Visit the South Shore Music Circus - a 2,500 seat performing arts theater featuring classic and cutting edge musical and comedy acts all summer long. The Music Circus is a mere 10 minute walk from our property.

All year round you can enjoy nearby parks including World's End or Wheelright Park, which offer many miles of hiking and cross country trails.

Once you have experienced everything the area has to offer, you can drive to the MBTA train station (5 minutes) and take a train and be in downtown Boston -- a world away -- in just 45 minutes. In the summer you can take the ferry from Hingham or Hull and enjoy a fantastic boat ride on your way in.

beautiful property, great location

My husband and I stayed with our 8-month old daugther last week. The condo was even nicer in person than in the pictures. Everything was immaculate and tastefully decorated. We were greated by the owner and he was available to answer any questions, although there was a detailed book about the property that we were provided. The unit is in a great location in charming Cohasset village. Having a kitchen and laundry was very convenient. We would stay here again and have already recommended the unit to our friends. There were steep stairs to get to, and in , the unit.

Special Vacation

Guest: loving New England summers (Atlanta, Ga)
Date of Stay: 08/08/10 Review Submitted: 08/18/10

We had a wonderful time vacationing in the "Village" of Cohasset with our teenage daughter. The owners gave us a personal greeting and shared a wealth of knowledge about their apartment and the surrounding area. Shortly after our arrival we were treated with a live summer Sunday carillon recital from the nearby bell tower at one of the local churches situated on a rocky hill. There was a good variety of gourmet eateries within walking distance, including the Bia Bistro downstairs in the Bates House. (This restaurant had a fairly quiet atmosphere and we heard no noise in the apartment upstairs.) We enjoyed spending some time on the nearby Sandy Beach with the pass provided along with beach chairs and towels. There was easy access to Boston by commuter rail in Cohasset. We also took the commuter ferry to Boston from nearby Hingham one day. It was a great week.
