Newly renovated, Nalu house is located just steps away from the 2.5 km Chesterman Beach one of Tofino’s famous surf beaches. It’s a 3 min drive to Cox Bay and a 10 min drive to Long Beach and 5 min. to the town of Tofino. The house sits on a private ½ acre treed lot and offers two comfortable self-contained suites. The Surfers Studio and the 2 bedroom Groundswell suite. Each suite can be rented separately or together.
The Surfers Studio is a bright lofted studio suite that looks out to the Nalu Garden. Perfect for a couple or two singles, the suite has a comfortable queen bed in a cozy loft and a couch that can be pulled out to a double bed. The entire suite is newly renovated with heated slate & hardwood floors, concrete counter tops & skylights.

My family and I have stayed at Nalu House twice now for one week each time. Tim is a wonderful host who keeps the property really neat and tidy. The Groundswell suite is perfect for four adult travellers, the bedrooms are large, beds very comforatable and literally a 60 second walk to the most beautiful beach I have ever been to. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything to make your meals including a gas barbucue so no need to frequent the over priced Tofino restaurants (unless that is what you in to!). The outdoor shower, hot tub and traditional sauna are a bonus especially on those colder days or just after surfing. We have felt most comfortable here and plan to come back again next year.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: That's me Lara and my husband Tim. I'm an Art Director & Tim is a stand-up comic. In our leisure time we can be found standing sideways on a board on water, land or snow.
Why the Owner Chose Tofino:
In 2001 we moved from Toronto to Vancouver so we could snowboard big mountain terrain regularly. We also wanted to learn how to surf so we took a surf camp in Tofino and we're officially hooked! It took us 9 years to move to Tofino and buy the Nalu house. Now we are across the street from the beach where we can surf everyday.
