Just returned from a 5 day stay over New Years with 14 adults. Beautiful spot, great for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and playing in the snow. Bryce was excellent to deal with. The pics on the website do not do the house justice. It's very large, laid out for large groups, and well equipped. We found the kitchen equipment to be more than adequate for cooking large meals. There was plenty of hot water for back to back showers, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and everything you could ever need for a large group snowcation. We'll be back! Thanks for everything, Bryce!

The lodge was excellent for out birthday party getaway for 20 people and the amenities were as advertised on the listing. As a matter of fact, the pictures on the site do not do the facility justice so we were even more excited after arrival! I'm not sure what the last review was all about but found the building to be spotlessly clean and everything in working order. We will be back and have already booked our return for next year to play in the snow! Thanks Bryce!

This could be a nice place, if it was properly maintenanced! Upstairs decorated very cute but be carefull because the wood on the the walls falls off on you and knocks wall hangings off of the wall, none of the faucets are properly installed they wobble all over, don't touch the pool table (my husband leaned up against it and the side fell off---they charged us to take it to Seattle 2 times and to put vaneer on it--it is an old shabby pool table!) Don't plan on using the grill as it is filthy and does not work. Clean it is not! They need to meet Mr. Clean sponges, and a carpet cleaner, they work wonders. To wrap it up in a nutshell you will pay a pretty price to stay in a barn & pay more when it falls apart! Do not take small children it is not a safe place for them with all of the falling pieces in this place! Then again if your looking for a way to make money a lawsuit when you or one of your children get hurt here.....just saying. BEWARE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR HIS FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THIS BARN!

Owner response: I encourage my guests to alert me to any maintenance issues as they arise (loose board, parts arrived Monday to repair the BBQ, and tighten a loose bolt on the kitchen sink) to help keep the building safe and fully functional. As per the rental contract I have a $500 damage amount that will be applied in extreme cases of damage or cleaning. In this case the group was charged $150 to repair a broken pool table, clean juice that was spilled in the upstairs carpets, and to repaint the walls in the entrance where firecrackers exploded against the interior walls. I charge a reasonable amount to cover damages when they occur, and in this particular case the amount is no where close to the actual cost of my time and fuel to drive to Seattle to have a new board custom made to match the pool table veneer. As far as this review goes I find it humourous that they are talking lawsuits when the chance of fire alone by interior fireworks in the middle of a drought and burn ban across the state didnt lead to something far more serious than an angry review for their own malfeasance! I've had nearly 1000 guests this summer alone without any incidents... except for their great times! Thanks for reading this review and response and hope to see you soon! Bryce

The lodge was well maintained, cozy and had enough rooms for my big family and friends. The kids as well as the adults enjoyed sledding in the driveway. We had a blast at the place. We danced and sing karaoke at night without being worried of angry neighbors. Bryce was a very nice manager. He allowed Bella (a big and very good dog) to play with our kids. We will definitely come back and will recommend the place to our friends. Thank you Bryce for being so helpful during our stay.

What can I say? Bryce is the best: very accommodating and helpful; attentive and present when you need him, and otherwise, invisible—although if you head into town, you'll probably run into him at a local watering hole! :) My pals and I are in a vintage/cafe racer motorcycle club (read: we're nice lads, not a sleazy, dirty lot) and we've come here twice for our annual "getaway" from the bustle of Seattle. We usually travel about 20/25 guys, and RCL suits us perfectly. Ironically, one of our guys found RCL when looking for a place to take (only) his wife and two kids. The other houses/lodges/neighbors are far enough away that they aren't bothered, which is a great luxury. No stuffy, hoity-toity B&B vibe which is a huge buzzkill. And I think it's important to point that out; a larger group doesn't have to worry about tip-toeing around like church mice. You can let your hair down. Bryce and RCL let's us have it all: the great Washington outdoors AND having our good-natured fun...buzzing around and jumping the big "hill" by the pond on our club dirt bike, whipping out the guitars and drums (w/brushes) around the campfire and yucking it up with games and BB guns, golf balls...("yuck" meaning "to have lighthearted fun", not "gross"). It makes you really want to return his graciousness by leaving the place better than you find it, which is spotless already. And we do just that. The lodge itself feels like a home; no musty, rusty skank that one sometimes encounters in a resort/lodge. It's kind of fun to get to as well: a long, winding gravel/dirt road way off US 2 that let's you know you're in the middle of nowhere. There is still cell reception so you can remain connected to the outside world if you need. Whether it's a church group, Yahtzee club, or just a bunch of guys/girls gettin' outta the house for a weekend of fishing, riding, hiking and general carousing, this is the place...can't recommend it enough!

We rented the Roaring Creek Lodge for a week for our family reunion and had a great time. There were about 30 of us so we enjoyed that there were lots of beds and bedrooms. There is a big open kitchen/dining/living area which was great for games and visiting. Bryce was great to work with. He even took the time to show us where to go rafting. There are many fun things to do around Leavenworth.

Roaring Creek Lodge is an excellent place for a large family gathering. Our group of adults, children and pets were able to relax and enjoy the winter wonderland. The kitchen is well-stocked with anything one might need, bathrooms have plenty of towels, & there's lots of extra bedding. Thanks go out to Bryce - he was always available for anything we might need. We'll be back!

We had an excellent time at your Lodge this past January. Everything was as listed plus some. Property was excellent, but actually was bigger than expected judging from the photos of the property. Eventhough there were some misshaps with the hot tub, the owner was extremly helpful and made our stay more than worthwhile. I would recommend this place to my friends or relatives in a heartbeat!!

Had a great time. we had around 12 to 17 people. There was a ton of room and a lot to do. The volley ball court was great for the family games. Each room is comfortable and decorated very nicely. Has all the amenities of home. The home was clean. The owner is very friendly and helped out with any info we needed for what to do there. levenworth only 15 mins. away and the lake is about 10 mins. Great location. Would recommend this home. And would return again.

We had a group of people staying at the house, and it was perfect for our needs. I felt the kitchen had everything that was needed to serve/cook for 14+ people. Pleanty of indoor and outdoor space to have fun. The only think I could recommend, would be to have a bigger and propane type grill. Bryce was very easy to talk to and deal with.
