The cabin was great. It was so nice being near Treetops and Gaylord for shopping. Everything went smoothly and everyone had a great time. The lake was beautiful I hope to be back in the summer.

Our stay in a winter wonderland

My wife & I and 3 other adult couples occupied this cabin for a weekend of snowmobiling. Absolutely no disappointments! All the amenities coupled with the rustic charm of this house made for a very comfortable stay - far outweighing hotel rooms. There is more than enough room for the 8 of us to put our things (lots of gear included) & enjoy a relaxing weekend with each other. Right on the lake & just off a groomed snowmobile trail made it an ideal location. Dealing with the owners was very easy and they were most accomodating. Before we left our wives were looking to book a summer weekend here. To our dismay, they found it was already reserved for nearly the entire season. Easy for us to see why and we all agreed this is where we'll stay next year - can't wait! Thank You Richard, your family has quite a gem and we are very happy to have found you! See ya next winter.

We were pleased to share our cottage to those helping others (Pink Ribbon snowmobile fund raisers) and to just kick back and enjoy northern Michigan in the winter. Our winter time use is typically a combo of skiing and sledding, and if it's an extended stay, shopping in Petosky or Harbor Springs. Think snow!

Really enjoyed the cabin. Beautiful time of year w/wonderful areas to tour. Very close to Charlevoix, Boyne City, Petoskey & Harbor Springs. Plenty of sleeping for large families. Cabin is on a beautiful lake w/crystal clear water. Owners very helpful with any problems you may have. I think it is a wonderful cabin for kids to enjoy the beach and kids bunk room with lots of videos and tv's to watch. Having the internet is a great asset. As you know, Gaylord is the golf mecca with golf courses just down the road. Nice little restaurant in Gaylord for a quick sandwich/coffee is going E on Main called the BEAR ?? Spuds warehouse was nice store to explore. Enjoyed the live Elk by Elks Lodge. Thanks for the use of your home.

We had an excellent time on Otsego Lake. The water and beach was perfect for the small children! We rented a pontoon for a day and tested out the fishing. The kids loved our trips into Gaylord where they fed the elk! Plenty of sleeping room. Hoping to return next summer!

Wonderful Week

We had a wonderful time in Gaylord this past week, staying at this Otsego Lake rental with my parents and siblings. The house had lots of room for each of us to have individual space, as well as a nice family room and dining room to spend time together. The Peter's family was very accommodating in leaving the dock in past Labor Day in case we wanted to boat on the lake. The grill worked great, and when we didn't want to cook we had excellent pizza from Al's Market, which is just a moment away. The Peters were very easy to work with and answered all our questions about the house and the activities available in the area.

My family and our friends family stayed here for our summer vacation. We had a great time, the house was perfect for the size 10 group that we had. Thank you to the peters family for opening up their home to us! We enjoyed it so much that we had them keep our deposit and booked another week for next year! If your looking for a relaxed vacation on the beach with all the comforts of home this is the place to be!

We enjoyed staying at the house on the lake. Richard was very accommodating in letting us book at the last minute. The house is in excellent condition - very clean with updated kitchen and bathrooms. We hope to definitely come back in the future.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely home for 5 days over Valentine's day weekend. We found it totally delightful, with all the amenities of home. It was very clean and confortable. Close to skiing at Boyne and that was the only location we decided to ski for 2 days. We also ice fished and although cold, was very convenient. I would highly recommend it to folks looking for a nice "homey" get away.

My family rented the vacation for a weekend fishing trip. We enjoyed having access to the lake right out of the back yard. The accomadations fit our needs to a tee. Richard, the owner was very heipful in sending me all the information I needed we all appreciate his help. We caught a few perch Saturday and everyone had a great time. We are keeping this home on our radar for a possible future visit.

I stayed at the cottage with family and friends for New Years and everyone enjoyed it. It's not too far off I-75 and it's located right on the lake. It's also close to an awesome sledding hill. The cottage had a cozy up north feel to it, but enough room for everyone to be happy. We'd return love to return for the summer!
