This beautiful, spacious condo is in a quiet location next to the Makai Golf Course and close to two other golf courses, within walking distance from the St.Regis Princeville Resort, beaches and snorkeling sites, and near the Princeville Golf Clubhouse. It is almost 1500 square feet, very open and recently redecorated, beautifully and comfortably furnished in the Hawaiian style. Emmalani Court is a smaller condo complex with 5 buildings, 44 total units. This unit is an end, upstairs unit in a building with 9 other units, giving it more privacy than some condos.
It is within a 10 minute walk to Hideaways Beach and close to Queen's Bath for snorkeling with the sea turtles. You can sit on the lanai, sipping your latte or wine, and look out for whales in the ocean or watch the unusual behavior of albatross on the lawn. There is plenty of room for family dining or there are several nearby restaurants.

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2009
I am a General Contractor in Santa Barbara, CA. I grew up in San Jose, CA and graduated from UCSB with a degree in anthropology. I enjoy art and cultural diversity, and have traveled extensively in S. America and Asia. I love to surf and fish in my spare time, and Princeville is the ideal location to go for some great waves and beaches. My girlfriend and I visited and fell in love with the area and want to go back often.
Why the Owner Chose Emmalani Court
My girlfriend and I visited Princeville, Kauai and fell in love with the area. It is near great surfing spots at Hanalai Bay and around the island. It is also on the eighth hole of the Makai golf course, one of three golf courses in the area, and within walking distance of Queen's Bath, the St. Regis Princeville Resort Hotel, and bike or walking paths that go into the Princeville Shopping Center. This particular condo unit has a very spacious, light feel, with high ceilings and great views of the ocean and the golf course from the living room, bedroom and lanai. It is well built, high quality and seemed like an ideal destination for vacationers.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We have tried to make this a rental that you will want to come back to over and over. Everything has been updated and made to enhance your vacation. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and washer/dryer. The complex offers a pool with jacuzzi and clubhouse. It is near bike paths that go to the beach paths, to the St. Regis Princeville Hotel restaurant, or into town for shopping. If it's raining, you can sit and look out at the ocean view or relax with a movie, TV or book without feeling cooped up.

We've stayed at many rental properties in Hawaii but this one is by far the best we've stayed at. This does not feel like a " rental property". There are so many welcoming touches here that I don't know where to begin. I guess a good place to start is by thanking previous renters for maintaining this as if it was their own home. Gorgeous, comfortable furnishings, thoughtful amenities, gorgeous setting....thank you for this wonderful week Glen and Priscilla!

Sitting here on the lanai on a perfect morning, drinking coffee, watching a gorgeous sunrise, surrounded by all kinds of different birds on our last day of our vacation. We arrived to this beautiful island 13 days ago. Wow did the time go fast! During our stay we experienced a variety of weather, mostly sunny and comfortable along with some days of rain and wind. We explored many beaches, from Donkey Beach to Ke'e to the north. All different but all beautiful in their own special way. Hiking the Kalalau Trail on the Napali Coast, kayaking the Hanalei River, surfing near the Hanalei Pier (great for beginners like me), catching a tan, watching the sunsets or just eating a shaved ice at the Wishing Well in Hanalei town were some of our favorite activities. Wish we could stay longer, but have to go back to reality. Great times.

First time here for me. The weather was beautiful and varied: warm sun, cool breezes, clouds & sun, rain, and sunrain. I'm still amazed at the variety of trees, plants, and flowers, each blooming and fragrant, but the best? The bird calls of the common mynah, crested Brazilian cardinal, and the feisty little sparrows and shy doves. Truly a garden island here, and this was a lovely place to call home, even for a few days.

My daughter, son-in-law, one-year-old grandson, and I just spent a marvelous vacation on Kauai. Central to our enjoyment was being able to stay in this bright, clean, spacious, comfortable condo. It's an end unit, which adds to the sense of space and privacy. Because the two bedrooms and bathrooms are completely separate from each other, it's ideal for an extended family such as ours. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking our meals there. We particularly appreciated the lanai for star gazing on the warm nights. Even though we don't play golf, we liked the views of golf course and ocean, and the golf course is a fine place from which to view sunsets. Photographs included in the advertising of this property certainly do not overstate its desirability! The location of the condo is great for walking to nearby beaches, restaurants, shopping, a children's playground, post office, and other amenities - all the while being able to see birds and smell flowers! Hanalei is a short drive away, as are many beautiful, secluded beaches and places of interest. Kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, and shave ice are all close by. To my mind, this north coast is the loveliest part of Kauai. We had one rainy day while we were there, and I must admit that it was good to be able to stay in, bake banana bread, and watch a movie on the large-screen television. Our hope is to return to this same place before too long. Meanwhile, I would (and will!) certainly recommend this condo as a perfect place to stay.

Your condo is so comfortable and well laid out, pleasant and bright. It was the ONLY way to go with a one-year-old! The location is great, and we were able to walk to lots of places. As I was often on "Kelsey duty" (a joy!), I liked being able to walk him around the neighborhoods. People were all so friendly! Priscilla's notes were also helpful, especially about the way to get to the nearest beach. It's wonderful to have a kitchen when on vacation, in order to be able to shop at natural foods stores and farmers markets. Both Gwendy and I enjoy cooking, and we found your kitchen fun to work in and well stocked. I did add a tea kettle, which I hope will be of use to you and to others.

Glen's condo was a perfect home-base for our family. The location is quiet with beautiful views of the ocean and we loved being able to walk to several close-by beaches. Princeville has its own shopping center and is also close to the happenings in Hanalei like the farmers market, live music, shops, a health food store, and kayak rentals. The condo itself was beautifully decorated with all the amenities we could ask for. All the comforts of home were provided including beach towels and chairs, kitchen supplies, even snorkeling gear. And everything from the towels to the blender were quality. As a family with a young one, we really appreciated having our own washer and dryer. The layout of the condo is very nice - I loved the open kitchen, dining, living area and the two bedroom/bathrooms both had plenty of privacy. Because of the smart layout, this condo would work well for any number of configurations - a family, two couples or friends sharing, or like us, a young family with grandma on board for childcare help. Plus, we all found the beds to be really comfortable - a quality I really appreciate in a vacation rental!
