We've stayed at many rental properties in Hawaii but this one is by far the best we've stayed at. This does not feel like a " rental property". There are so many welcoming touches here that I don't know where to begin. I guess a good place to start is by thanking previous renters for maintaining this as if it was their own home. Gorgeous, comfortable furnishings, thoughtful amenities, gorgeous setting....thank you for this wonderful week Glen and Priscilla!

Sitting here on the lanai on a perfect morning, drinking coffee, watching a gorgeous sunrise, surrounded by all kinds of different birds on our last day of our vacation. We arrived to this beautiful island 13 days ago. Wow did the time go fast! During our stay we experienced a variety of weather, mostly sunny and comfortable along with some days of rain and wind. We explored many beaches, from Donkey Beach to Ke'e to the north. All different but all beautiful in their own special way. Hiking the Kalalau Trail on the Napali Coast, kayaking the Hanalei River, surfing near the Hanalei Pier (great for beginners like me), catching a tan, watching the sunsets or just eating a shaved ice at the Wishing Well in Hanalei town were some of our favorite activities. Wish we could stay longer, but have to go back to reality. Great times.

Aloha & mahalo mui! We loved staying here while working on a new edition of Kauai Trailblazer. Very tastefully decorated & luxuriously appointed. Loved being here! Thanks you for sharing your sweet condo with us!

Your condo is so comfortable and well laid out, pleasant and bright. It was the ONLY way to go with a one-year-old! The location is great, and we were able to walk to lots of places. As I was often on "Kelsey duty" (a joy!), I liked being able to walk him around the neighborhoods. People were all so friendly! Priscilla's notes were also helpful, especially about the way to get to the nearest beach. It's wonderful to have a kitchen when on vacation, in order to be able to shop at natural foods stores and farmers markets. Both Gwendy and I enjoy cooking, and we found your kitchen fun to work in and well stocked. I did add a tea kettle, which I hope will be of use to you and to others.

Glen's condo was a perfect home-base for our family. The location is quiet with beautiful views of the ocean and we loved being able to walk to several close-by beaches. Princeville has its own shopping center and is also close to the happenings in Hanalei like the farmers market, live music, shops, a health food store, and kayak rentals. The condo itself was beautifully decorated with all the amenities we could ask for. All the comforts of home were provided including beach towels and chairs, kitchen supplies, even snorkeling gear. And everything from the towels to the blender were quality. As a family with a young one, we really appreciated having our own washer and dryer. The layout of the condo is very nice - I loved the open kitchen, dining, living area and the two bedroom/bathrooms both had plenty of privacy. Because of the smart layout, this condo would work well for any number of configurations - a family, two couples or friends sharing, or like us, a young family with grandma on board for childcare help. Plus, we all found the beds to be really comfortable - a quality I really appreciate in a vacation rental!

My daughter, son-in-law, one-year-old grandson, and I just spent a marvelous vacation on Kauai. Central to our enjoyment was being able to stay in this bright, clean, spacious, comfortable condo. It's an end unit, which adds to the sense of space and privacy. Because the two bedrooms and bathrooms are completely separate from each other, it's ideal for an extended family such as ours. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking our meals there. We particularly appreciated the lanai for star gazing on the warm nights. Even though we don't play golf, we liked the views of golf course and ocean, and the golf course is a fine place from which to view sunsets. Photographs included in the advertising of this property certainly do not overstate its desirability! The location of the condo is great for walking to nearby beaches, restaurants, shopping, a children's playground, post office, and other amenities - all the while being able to see birds and smell flowers! Hanalei is a short drive away, as are many beautiful, secluded beaches and places of interest. Kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, and shave ice are all close by. To my mind, this north coast is the loveliest part of Kauai. We had one rainy day while we were there, and I must admit that it was good to be able to stay in, bake banana bread, and watch a movie on the large-screen television. Our hope is to return to this same place before too long. Meanwhile, I would (and will!) certainly recommend this condo as a perfect place to stay.

First time here for me. The weather was beautiful and varied: warm sun, cool breezes, clouds & sun, rain, and sunrain. I'm still amazed at the variety of trees, plants, and flowers, each blooming and fragrant, but the best? The bird calls of the common mynah, crested Brazilian cardinal, and the feisty little sparrows and shy doves. Truly a garden island here, and this was a lovely place to call home, even for a few days.

Chances are you went to Kauai for some relaxation and peacefulness--this place HAS IT! Not only are the accomodations GREAT--new and modern everything (not like those 70s dingy condos you sometimes get stuck with), the amenities are just like at home and for me NICER! lol--with internet, cable, A/C, etc.a POOL (which is REALLY nice as most beaches on Kauai are not really swimming or lounging friendly--mostly for other water sports), AND the location is FANTASTIC!! Right in Princeville on the golf course, where you have an ocean view--not a peek a boo one either! lol--and a lanai (balcony) to enjoy it. Plus, what I thought was great was that we were within walking distance from the hotel (st. regis? or Hyatt--I forgot which) where you can enjoy the music, a cocktail, luxury surroundings, and a pretty much panaromic view of the sunset w/ the Kanapaal'i coast line in the backdrop! We went there almost every night! (Note: a couple nights we didn't see much of a sunset because of the clouds, but it still was a gorgeous, gorgeous, view!) To be honest, the pictures didn't do it justice. I thought the pic's were nice, but when we got there, we were actually surprised--it was nicer than the pictures! So we thought we had scored! ha! Very clean, new, modern, higher end things. The owners were also very gracious and everything was as stated to us. We had a great time and can't wait to go back for another trip!! We'd definitely use them again :) Hope this review helps you decide! Aloha! p.s. This is in Princeville on the North part of the island, which is really a good spot to be--especially if you are a hiker or a snorkeler. Anini Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on kauai and is just minutes away, and so are most trails into the kanapaal'i. If you stay in Poipu (where most others do if not Princeville), then you are A WAYS away and that's a problem when it turns night on the island. There is only ONE "highway"/road on that side of the island and very few or no street lights (and with the cloud coverage, it gets really dark). So being in princeville area is really a treat. I've stayed in a few places including Kapa'a as well...Princeville, prob. my fave! And this condo, great deal!
