We just spent our 3rd vacation at this community, the 1st in this condo. This is a great property, one of the nicest in this building, wish we'd stayed in this condo before! Air conditioning is not needed, the ocean breeze is perfect. This condo has brand new kitchen appliances and was sparkling clean. We couldn't ask for more, the beach is a few steps away and we only have to walk a couple short blocks to our favorite eateries. If you're looking for a great vacation spot with incredible views, this is the place! We live in a hot weather state and look forward to our return here every summer. We've already made our reservation for next year!
Owner response:Thank you for staying with us, we're so glad you enjoyed your vacation. Look forward to having you again next year!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

The location of this 4th floor condo was good, their view of the ocean was good. Keeping in mind it is still a bit away, the condo is not right overloooking the beach. As mentioned in other reviews, this condo needs a good cleaning and maybe updating, the carpet was beyond dirty and needed to be replaced, the linens & towels were well worn as was the fabric on the chairs and 1 of the couches. One thing to mention, there was no A/C, at first I was very concerned, but it really wasn't bad, the large sliding doors provided a lot of airflow, we just had to sleep with windows open at night. The only problem with that was the train, that came by several times. I wish I would have looked a little closer at the condo ammentieis, which is the only reason why I mention it here in the review. The town itself is cute and has character it doesn't seem to be a very touristy spot, so depending on what you are looking for.
Owner response:This condo is 200 feet from the sand, beach and pier. The entire front of the condo is glass with sliding glass doors opening to the oversized balcony. None of the properties in this area have air conditioning, we have ocean breezes! The kitchen appliances were all brand new, just one week before the arrival of this guest. San Clemente is a popular vacation spot with it's beaches, known for great surfing. Many of our guests return year after year.

This was our first time visiting San Clemente and we made a perfect choice with this property rather than staying in a hotel! The condo had a luxurious, yet homey feel to it, and was just steps away from the beach with a beautiful view from the balcony. Valerie was very committed in making sure our stay was everything we wanted and more. The town of San Clemente was very charming and welcoming and we enjoyed all the quaint restaurants, beaches, and shopping it had to offer. We would definitely return to this condo to stay again!

Thanks again Valerie for making sure our stay here was once again exceptional! This is our second time staying here and everything about the property (especially the panoramic oceanfront views) was just as fantastic as we remembered! The apartment could not have been more accommodating and had everything we needed. The Farmer's Market on Sunday morning reminds us of home and the quality of food was great. San Clemente is such a beautiful beach town and was easy to get around and offered lots of fantastic restaurants, shopping, and people. Thanks again. See you next year!

If you're looking for a vacation condo with an awesome view, this is it. Unfortunately though, the listing photos don't accurately reflect the actual appearance of the unit. The carpets are badly stained, and some of the furnishings are threadbare. A plumber had to be called out to unclog the master bathroom sink during our visit, and there is a large gash in the hallway that has been repaired and re-plastered, but never painted. The patio was so dirty, it had to be cleaned up before we were able to enjoy the view. If these are minor annoyances to you, then this condo is a great find. We, however, would not recommend this unit to a friend or relative.
