This stand-alone cottage comes fully furnished with a well-stocked kitchen that has all the amenities for an inspired cook. A front loading washer and dryer, linens+towels+robes are included. Comfortable 1 bedroom with Queen size bed and skylight, living room with large picture window, relaxed wood deck overlooking treetops, gas burning fireplace, (+queen size convertible sofa), a separate office with desk and closet.
This lovely retreat, sitting at the base of Mt. Tamalpais, is minutes to hiking/biking trails and is around the corner from the Mill Valley public golf course, tennis courts, and Boyle Park. It's a short 10 minute walk to downtown Mill Valley where where you can enjoy Peet's Coffee, boutique shopping, great restaurants, the old Sequoia Movie Theatre and Throckmorton Theater. Mill Valley Recreation Center is a short 10-15 minute walk and includes an indoor swimming pool, spa, weight rooms and outdoor recreation facilities. Downtown San Francisco is 10 miles away. Tennessee Valley, Muir and Stinson Beaches are all less than a 30 minute drive, while the world famous Wine Country less than an hour. This is a perfect location and central to all of the activities that make the Bay Area so special.
The cottage is perfect for parents/friends/relatives visiting family over the holidays, house-hunters, business stopovers, a single person wanting a peaceful retreat, or a couple looking for a romantic getaway. Ideal for two, but can sleep 3.

Why the Owner Chose Mill Valley
The quaint town of Mill Valley is located 15 minutes north of San Francisco, over the Golden Gate Bridge. It's nestled at the base of Mt. Tamalpais, a popular Marin destination for biking (both mountain and road), running, hiking, and picnicking. Mill Valley boasts a wonderful selection of superb restaurants and theater choices, and is a shopping destination throughout Marin County. Muir + Stinson Beach are 20 minutes away, and wine country, a mere 45-60 minute drive. It's a all-around epic location and suitable for everyone's taste.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
The cottage has a lovely deck with table, chairs, umbrella, and hammock, which makes for a nice indoor/outdoor living space during the almost-always sunny days in Mill Valley. On wintry days, the rain tapping on the huge picture window and gas burning fireplace make for some very cozy ambience.
