  The day of our flight down to Barbados, I woke up in Boston to ice and single digit temperatures. That afternoon I was on a beach covered with palm trees looking at crystal clear water where it was a perfect sunny 80 degrees. Talk about tropical paradise! I stayed at the Little Bay House for a week with my wife and a group of couples. The house was perfect and made for such a memorable experience. Downstairs has an open design -- great for socializing and relaxing. The pool area will make you forget about all your worries and the kitchen is a perfect spot to grab a drink (try the local beer, Banks) and watch the chef of your group prepare island fare, if you’re into that kind of thing. The audio system was a nice touch that we all appreciated and the house got a terrific sea-breeze which was a constant reminder that you’re relaxing in the Caribbean. The bedrooms are located upstairs and they each have privacy and their own A/C units, which I think we only used once. At least two of the rooms had their own balconies too. Everything is roomy and spacious – I even thought the design of the ceiling was pretty cool. I’d say the house would be perfect for a group of friends or families with kids who are looking for a relaxing and adventurous vacation. The house in an area that’s off the beaten path so you won’t be hanging out with tourists. There is a dramatic ocean view steps outside the house and a secluded beach within a short walk. Crane and Bottom Bay Beaches have to be two of the best beaches in the world. And the entire island is very easy to get around as soon as you get used to the fact their driving on the wrong side of the road. Overall, our time in Barbados at the Little Bay House was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had -- I’d highly recommend it and I can’t wait to go back!

  We had the most enjoyable week here and felt right at home immediately. The pool cooled us down by day and the ocean breezes by night. We found the home to be conveniently located to everywhere we needed/wanted to be. I would highly recommend this home for a future visit and to anyone else (as long as it doesn't overlap with when we want to return!). Thank you again to the owner and to the staff for a wonderful visit.

  words can't described how amazing this house is. every single thing you need is provided. huge house with a constant breeze and outstanding views of the ocean. set atop a cliff with a huge pool. i can't say enough great words of the caretakers next door. awesome people. it seems that everyone in barbados is super sweet and ready to help. the location is perfect. short cab ride to the gap. but the best part i loved, was our private beach in foul bay. this is one of the best beaches I've ever been too. the waves were huge and perfect for body surfing. just another short walk and you're at crane beach (breath-taking). we were a party of 12 ppl and had all the room we needed. house has killer stereo system which we played all day and night. if you're wondering wether to book this place; DO IT! i PROMISE YOU THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BE IN BARBADOS...... We will be back!!!!!!!!!!

  We stayed at the Little Bay House 1/12 to 1/21/2013. The house is beautifully appointed and HUGE. We enjoyed time by the pool, grilling dinner and coming home early to watch movies some nights (800 plus movies but we watched ones we had all seen...what's better than Cocktail or Breakfast Club). The island is incredible. We followed much of Michael's itinerary and were not disappointed. We LOVED Foul Bay and the serenity. We were the only ones there, enjoyed taking the supplied cooler, chairs and all the makings for mimosas and enjoyed a peaceful day at the beach. We also had a blast at Oistens on Friday night, don't miss it. We had a great meal at Tapas in Rockley, but call for a reservation it was wonderful. And PLEASE, for all that is holy, CALL JAMMIN CAT cruises you will not be sorry!!! I also need to send a big kudos to Michael, Kris and Andrew for doing everything possible to make our stay amazing. Can't wait to bring my family back.

  This was our third time to visit the Little Bay House this year. It was another perfect vacation with a perfect house, location, beach and neighbors. We enjoyed the amenities of the house including the selection of movies, internet, sound system, and the large kitchen. There was plenty of privacy for our group. We really did make the most of the well stocked kitchen. Thanks to Andrew (the neighbor and house manager) for stocking the fridge. We made lots of mango margaritas while hanging out by the pool. This vacation was a little more low key. We enjoyed the beaches. We were lucky to see a group of 20 monkeys about 2km from the house. Our favorite activity is the Calabanza Cruise. We have managed to do the sailing three times. Gina is a doll and her crew will make sure you enjoy the day. Also, I know some people choose not to rent a car, but I would highly recommend getting one. It is easy to get around the island and nice to just jump in the car and see where you end up. Thanks for the use of your house Michael. We will be back again.

  A group of six adults, who vacation in the Caribbean regularly, stayed at this beautiful house for a week in March. It was the nicest house we have ever rented. From the spacious rooms to the well equipped kitchen, to the spotless pool, it was more than we could have hoped for. The host also had suggestions for the weeks itinerary, which we followed quite a bit and was very helpful. Close to what we thought was the best beach on the island, Foul Bay. I would reccomend this to anyone and it would be my first choice returning to Barbados.

  This was a wonderful home overlooking the ocean. The house was very clean and wonderfully designed. My extended family had plenty of room. We enjoyed the house and the pool. A wonderful addition was the wireless internet and library of 850 movies. There were numerous activities near-by including beaches, restaurants, shopping, and activities. We spend several days at Foul Beach which was only minutes away. We also visited the Crane Resort and enjoyed a great lunch pool side. I would highly recommend this house to my friends and family. So much so, that we are planning another visit in May.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

  The Little Bay House is as good in person as it appears on the site! I had 12 people staying there for ten days. Everyone was comfortable and we had wonderful time. There are two beaches within minutes of the house, and Bridgetown is a short drive away. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and I am sure you will enjoy it. We also held our small wedding reception around the pool, so Little Bay will always have a special place for us. The owner is great and easy to work with, and the caretaker lives right next door in case you have any issues. Thanks Mike- we will be back soon!

  Our visit to Barbados consisted of four families and I must say for the five adults in my family, we had a wonderful time enjoying the house and Barbados. Living in Texas ( if you know the saying..everything in Texas is big) well the Little Bay House took my breath away, it is STUNNING!!! No one was in anyone's way and we felt right at home with everything at our disposal. The bus line was close by and taxi services were available when needed. We were able to enjoy the night life on St. Lawrence Gap, visited family and friends, days at the beach and husband played golf six days out of the 9 days on the island. My adult children had a blast and are so ready to return back. They had such a wonderful time enjoying the pool, the surround sound music throughout the house, watching video, and playing games on the play station. The housekeeper was always available when needed ( a very pleasant person). Thank you Mike for such a wonderful vision in making the Little Bay House. We will be back!!!

  We arrived at your "Little Bay House" 2/26/11 and had to leave much to soon on 3/6/11. There were 8 adults and 2 children in our group and your house afforded everyone room to relax and enjoy, the pool was great fun. We used your suggestions on beaches and places to see. We traveled most of the Island but just not enough days or time to take in everything we wanted to do. Cooking in the large kitchen made for many enjoyable evenings, especially using the native foods/spices to the Island. The views were wonderful and we all loved the "running of the goats or sheep" in the early evening from the home at end of your road as they made their way around the block eating the different vegetation. And for those who like ice cream treats, be sure to be around on Saturdays as the ice cream truck makes a stop at Little Bay House. All in all, great place to visit and wonderful place to stay.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.
