A group of six adults, who vacation in the Caribbean regularly, stayed at this beautiful house for a week in March. It was the nicest house we have ever rented. From the spacious rooms to the well equipped kitchen, to the spotless pool, it was more than we could have hoped for. The host also had suggestions for the weeks itinerary, which we followed quite a bit and was very helpful. Close to what we thought was the best beach on the island, Foul Bay. I would reccomend this to anyone and it would be my first choice returning to Barbados.

This was a wonderful home overlooking the ocean. The house was very clean and wonderfully designed. My extended family had plenty of room. We enjoyed the house and the pool. A wonderful addition was the wireless internet and library of 850 movies. There were numerous activities near-by including beaches, restaurants, shopping, and activities. We spend several days at Foul Beach which was only minutes away. We also visited the Crane Resort and enjoyed a great lunch pool side. I would highly recommend this house to my friends and family. So much so, that we are planning another visit in May.
Owner response:Hello Gloria, We are delighted that you loved our home and had a wonderful experience in Barbados. It was a pleasure hosting you and we look forward to your upcoming stay in May 2012!

The Little Bay House is as good in person as it appears on the site! I had 12 people staying there for ten days. Everyone was comfortable and we had wonderful time. There are two beaches within minutes of the house, and Bridgetown is a short drive away. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and I am sure you will enjoy it. We also held our small wedding reception around the pool, so Little Bay will always have a special place for us. The owner is great and easy to work with, and the caretaker lives right next door in case you have any issues. Thanks Mike- we will be back soon!
Owner response:Hello Jason, We are very happy to hear that you had a pleasant experience at Little Bay House! You are welcome back any time! Cheers! Mike

Our visit to Barbados consisted of four families and I must say for the five adults in my family, we had a wonderful time enjoying the house and Barbados. Living in Texas ( if you know the saying..everything in Texas is big) well the Little Bay House took my breath away, it is STUNNING!!! No one was in anyone's way and we felt right at home with everything at our disposal. The bus line was close by and taxi services were available when needed. We were able to enjoy the night life on St. Lawrence Gap, visited family and friends, days at the beach and husband played golf six days out of the 9 days on the island. My adult children had a blast and are so ready to return back. They had such a wonderful time enjoying the pool, the surround sound music throughout the house, watching video, and playing games on the play station. The housekeeper was always available when needed ( a very pleasant person). Thank you Mike for such a wonderful vision in making the Little Bay House. We will be back!!!
Owner response:Thank you so much for the kind words about Little Bay House. We put our heart and soul into that house and try so hard to make people happy. We're very glad you enjoyed our home and Barbados. We welcome you back with open arms! :) Cheers, Michael

Michael- We couldn't be happier with our vacation and our trip to the Little Bay House. Your information about the house and the island were extremely helpful and we tried most of the activities listed in your example itinerary. We saw almost all of the island and hit every beach that we could. The pictures can't really capture how beautiful it is in Barbados. The house was absolutely amazing. There were 8 of us and we never felt cramped or in the way of each other. We loved the pool and the huge kitchen which we used frequently. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Dubbie was a delight. He was so helpful and a joy to meet. We are so glad that we got to spend some time with him and get to know him. And don't worry...we don't believe a word he said about you!! Thank you so much for sharing your property with us. We can't wait to come back and visit again!!

We arrived at your "Little Bay House" 2/26/11 and had to leave much to soon on 3/6/11. There were 8 adults and 2 children in our group and your house afforded everyone room to relax and enjoy, the pool was great fun. We used your suggestions on beaches and places to see. We traveled most of the Island but just not enough days or time to take in everything we wanted to do. Cooking in the large kitchen made for many enjoyable evenings, especially using the native foods/spices to the Island. The views were wonderful and we all loved the "running of the goats or sheep" in the early evening from the home at end of your road as they made their way around the block eating the different vegetation. And for those who like ice cream treats, be sure to be around on Saturdays as the ice cream truck makes a stop at Little Bay House. All in all, great place to visit and wonderful place to stay.

Good morning Michael, It's hard to believe that I have been back to work for almost three weeks now. I apologize for the late email but I do want to thank you for the use of your beautiful "Little Bay House". The family and I had the most wonderful vacation ever at your house. From the moment that we arrived and met Andrew at the airport everything was picture perfect. The home is warm and welcoming and is kept in great shape by Andrew. As far as I am concerned the directions/itinerary in your email was the most important item that you could have provided. We were able to follow your suggestions many times throughout the vacation and we thought that they were invaluable. My wife and I spent an entire day following your directions around the island stopping at every single point you listed on the site seeing tour (probably the best day that I had-I'm a history buff). The first day that we were there we ventured over to find the steps that would take us to the beach at Foul Bay and we crossed paths with a family of monkeys; what a great way to start the trip. There are far too many great memories to write in an email (I don't want to bore you) so I'll keep them to myself. One last thing; you are absolutely right about the fact that you can keep the doors open and the breezes sweep through the house making it comfortable for everyone. You are also right that the rains can come at any moment and we had a great time shutting the doors quickly before the rain started (lots of laughs as the kids ran around the house buttoning it up. I did mention in your guest book how quickly Andrew responded when the water stopped running in the house. He had a person repair the leak outside by the tank that was causing the problem in what seemed like minutes. I have to add that sitting in the jacuzzi with a Banks beer or a rum punch at night is priceless! What an unforgettable vacation! Again, thank you so much!
Owner response:We are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed our villa and the island of Barbados. Seeing monkeys on your walk to Foul Bay Beach is a special treat that I'm glad you were able to experience. It seems like our guests who take advantage of the "Sample Daily Itinerary" always have the most magical experiences. Getting out there and exploring this beautiful country, ripe with history, tradition, and breathtaking landscapes really allows you to leave your cares behind. We are so happy you got so many great experiences out of your trip. Come visit us again sometime very soon! Cheers, Michael

I've visited Barbados a few times in the last couple years, mostly recently in March 2009 when a group of friends and I stayed at Little Bay House. Let me tell you, this is the definition of vacation! The house provides every ammenity you can think of, from comfy outdoor lounges, multiple desk/porches, large new kitchen, movies galore and an adjustable speaker system throughout. During our week's stay, we were able to have fun party nights both inside the house and out on the town, as well as relaxing nights cooking dinner and enjoying the seaside breezes by the pool. The location is unique, something you will NOT experience when visiting the island on a cruise or staying at a hotel chain/property. You have so many unique, uncrowded beaches within a short walking or driving distance. When you stay here, you are truly on vacation - thanks for such a great trip!
Owner response:We are delighted that you had such an enjoyable time at Little Bay House and in Barbados. It would be a pleasure to have your group return.

I traveled to Barbados in Dec. '08 and it was such a fantastic vacation, thanks in no small part to staying at the Little Bay House. The house itself was gorgeous; well-maintained, spacious, comfortable, but what really set the house apart from the other vacation homes that I've rented over the years was the obvious care that the owner took in making sure that our vacation was fabulous. From the time of booking until our arrival, the owner kept in contact with our group, helping with car rentals, activity suggestions, and anything else that you could ever need. The people that are in Barbados to help you during your stay are ridiculously thorough and helpful. Our group of friends spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool and enjoying our own outdoor concerts via the amazing sound system. We all agree that this house is definitely worth a return visit!! A five-star vacation rental at a third of the cost. Brilliant.

The day of our flight down to Barbados, I woke up in Boston to ice and single digit temperatures. That afternoon I was on a beach covered with palm trees looking at crystal clear water where it was a perfect sunny 80 degrees. Talk about tropical paradise! I stayed at the Little Bay House for a week with my wife and a group of couples. The house was perfect and made for such a memorable experience. Downstairs has an open design -- great for socializing and relaxing. The pool area will make you forget about all your worries and the kitchen is a perfect spot to grab a drink (try the local beer, Banks) and watch the chef of your group prepare island fare, if you’re into that kind of thing. The audio system was a nice touch that we all appreciated and the house got a terrific sea-breeze which was a constant reminder that you’re relaxing in the Caribbean. The bedrooms are located upstairs and they each have privacy and their own A/C units, which I think we only used once. At least two of the rooms had their own balconies too. Everything is roomy and spacious – I even thought the design of the ceiling was pretty cool. I’d say the house would be perfect for a group of friends or families with kids who are looking for a relaxing and adventurous vacation. The house in an area that’s off the beaten path so you won’t be hanging out with tourists. There is a dramatic ocean view steps outside the house and a secluded beach within a short walk. Crane and Bottom Bay Beaches have to be two of the best beaches in the world. And the entire island is very easy to get around as soon as you get used to the fact their driving on the wrong side of the road. Overall, our time in Barbados at the Little Bay House was one of the best vacations we’ve ever had -- I’d highly recommend it and I can’t wait to go back!
Owner response:Thank you so much for your kind words. Your group is welcome back any time. Since Feb. 2008 we have added some additional service options for our guests such as private food services, night driver, and island tours. Let us know when you get the bug to escape those cold New England winters again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Barbados, and this house was perfect in every way! Everything you could possibly want is right at your fingertips, and the accomodations are fantastic. The house is very well cared for, and is only footsteps away from breathtaking views and beautiful beaches. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for affordable luxury at it's best!!
