This rental exceeded our expectations! Rental is exceptionally clean and well maintained. Very spacious home. Fire place and hot tub were awesome. This rental has everything you need for a relaxing get away in Mount Snow! Snow came just in time for our long weekend. It is located only minutes to Mount Snow. We had two fabulous days of skiing. Owners were excellent.

Nice House - Good Luck Getting your Deposit Back

While the house was nice enough, and a short drive from Mt. Snow there were several issues we ran into: 1) I had to fight the owners to get my deposit back, and even then they kept half. We left the house in great shape and the owner complained about having to hire a cleaning service. Apparently they don't typically clean the house between rentals?!? 2) Television and electronics are very out of date. Watching playoff football on these large pieces of furniture was not ideal. 3) The stairs are very 'tricky' and nearly everyone nearly fell or did fall at some point. 4) The house doesn't comfortably sleep nearly as many people as advertised. One of the pullout couches slumps badly.

Owner response:Funny - they left a very positive review in our guest book. We take great pride in the cleanliness of our home and how we prepare it for our guests. This is the first time that we have ever retained part of a deposit, which we did so we could pay the cleaning people for the extra time they spent to clean the house and do extra laundry with the "friends they had over" that were not listed on the rental agreement. Our home sleeps a maximum of 12 guests in beds as we clearly indicate. The pull-out sofa (with a broken frame) he is referring to is not listed in our bed count. There has always been a flat screen tv and past and present day electronics in the game room. In honor of the Patriot's super bowl game, we purchased a new flat screen to replace the console tv for the living room. Sorry it wasn't in place for his party weekend. We have many repeat guests for good reasons - it is comfortable, clean, and well equipped.

When we take vacations, we travel by motorcycle. This trip we traveled 3400 miles roundtrip from Minnesota to Vermont. It was great to have a home to go to at the end of the day of exploring. The roads were winding and scenic which we love. The house was clean and well maintained. It was perfect. Thanks!

The pictures of the house do not do the house justice. We easily slept 12 people which included 4 couples. It is minutes from Mount Snow and 7-11.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with young children.

It's huge!! We wanted to relax and enjoy the house & spend quality time together as a family. We did just that too!!! The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. We especially loved the fireplace, hot tub, and pool table. It snowed during the weekend and was very pretty with the scenic surroundings. We all slept well and sound. We would love to come back ASAP!!

We spent a great weekend at this lovely Mount Snow home. Literally only 5 minutes away from the slopes! I was a little concerned that with 12 adults that we would be on-top of one another, but we were pleasantly surprised with all the space! Also, there was nothing better than hitting the hot tub after a day of riding. There were also lots of board games, a pool table, foose ball, and a ton of movies. We had a really great time! The attention to detail the owners put into the house really made you feel like you were staying at a 4 star hotel. I would recommend this house to all!

Cozy and Accommodating!!!

Marie and Greg have opened up their home and provided guests with an amazing opportunity to stay only minutes from the base of Mount Snow, while allowing you to feel right at home. The house was exactly as described, beautiful, spacious, very accommodating, and best of all cozy. It slept 12 of us very comfortably and gave us memories to last a lifetime. Mount Snow in itself is a top notch mountain for skiers and boarders of every level, however the house was somewhere you could call home after hitting the slopes and feel very comfortable about it. Plus there is nothing like jumping in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. The house was fully furnished from the pool table and foosball, had a great tournament going all weekend on both, to well applianced kitchen which included my personal favorite and well-used waffle maker. Best of all is that the house really does accommodate groups of all ages. We were a mixed gendered group of mid to late twenties but immediately suggested a getaway here to both my parents and in-laws. It was truly an experience like no other. Before we even left we were planning our next trip back up. The owners were great to deal with, making the rental as smooth as possible. They even made little suggestions to us about things they thought we may enjoy, as well as provided us with a lot of great and useful facts about the area. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. Jason

I booked this home last January (2009) for 10 people, it being our first Vermont ski trip. Greg and Marie were very accomodating, gave us tips on where to go for groceries, went out of their way to troubleshoot the online network, etc. As for the home itself, anyone can tell that Greg and Marie paid alot of attention to detail in decorating. From the pool table, jacuzzi (which we didn't use, but was nice to have), fireplace, board games, snow ball fights in the backyard, sleighs in the garage, there was more than enough to do after a day on the slopes. In addition, there were more than enough shovels and rock salt ready for us to use in case we got snowed in. There was plenty of room to accomodate my group. I would definitely recommend this home to my friends and family. Location was very convenient as it was a very short drive up the road to Mount Snow. I look forward to booking this home again in the future.

Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful home. It was the perfect way to ring in the New Year! The house is amazing – very spacious, cozy and comfortable. We loved the hot tub and the pool table. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our large group meals. Can’t forget the outdoor grill and our steaks! We had a blast skiing – conditions were a little icy but it snowed a few days so that was nice. Thanks again for sharing your house with us! Happy New Year
