  We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day stay at Casa Playa Convenient to everything West bay has to offer, and yet on the quiet end of the beach on cruise ship days. A short walk down the beach gives you access to awesome snorkeling just 100 yards off shore, or hire a boat to go to a reef spot just a few minutes away. We felt completely safe and at home at Casa Playa Bonita, and the solar power was a great back-up for the occasional electric service outages experienced on the island. The wireless internet service and cable were a big plus, too! Dining options were plentiful, and we especially enjoyed Beachers and Fosters. Don't miss out on a paddle board adventure with Anita or Delaney just down the beach! If you love the beach and love the water, Roatan is an awesome destination! Thank you, Diana and Michael for sharing your lovely Casa with us. We hope to return!

  Location is fabulous on an amazingly beautiful beach. Some distance from the cruise beach so you avoid the worst of the crowds on cruise day but still on the most beautiful beach with lots of fun restaurants nearby. Spent 2 weeks at this rental, and other than some annoying power outages, the property was great. Very comfortable, lovely patio where we spent most of our home time, and only steps from the beach.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Our stay at Playa Bonita was absolutely wonderful. The home was clean and comfortable, had everything we needed. Just steps away from the most beautiful beach I've ever seen! Ron and Patricia were great host and hostess:-) The location was very convenient to all of the best restaurants as well. The description and pictures accurately describe the home and beach, it's great. My favorite thing was being able to walk to the end of the beach and swim out to the reef for terrific snorkeling, no need for a boat. I would definitely recommend this place and will book another vacation stay at Playa Bonita next year. We also spent 4 days on the island of Utila and that was fun too. This was our first trip to the Bay Islands, we usually go to Mexico or Belize, but we will definitely go back and plan to stay at Playa Bonita again.

  My family ( husband, daughter 21 and son 24 ) , recently stayed at the Playa Bonita for a family Christmas vacation. My husband and I have visited the island in Feb 2008 and stayed at the Henry Morgan, but decided to try a private listing through VRBO this time and we will probably never go back to all inclusive. We cannot say enough about the friends we made, Patricia, Ron and Dee . We started off our vacation with a slight disruption and it was nice to know we had someone there to help and communicate with. (You three are awesome and a great asset to the Playa Bonita) This quaint cozy property is in the perfect location, beautiful beach, within walking distance to any type of restaurant that you desire although we enjoyed cooking and homecooked meals for a change. You can get fresh seafood any day in Coxen Hole, and we even enjoyed lobster appetizers on the beach prepared by our son. The snorkeling was awesome as expected and the walks to West End were as enjoyable as remembered. My only complaint was the bites I recieved from the sand fleas and I regret not bringing stronger repellent. The rest of the family was not bothered so it depends on how sweet your skin is :) I would highly recommend staying at the Playa Bonita. It is not the Ritz Carlton but the hospitality is much better! We will defintely return in the future.

  El lugar es hermoso la playa es muy Linda los cuartos es lo mejor y las estrellas del mar son lindas y hermosas. “The place is beautiful, the beach is very beautiful, the house is the best and the stars of the sea are pretty and handsome.” La estudia en “playa bonita” ha sido excelente! Hermosa casa, excelente vista al mar, personal muy amistoso y eficiente. Definitivamente volveira de Nuevo “Our stay in the “Playa Bonita” has been excellent! Lovely house, excellent view to the sea, very friendly and efficient personnel. Definitively return again”

  Our stay at Emerald Beach……….. First of all, we can’t say enough great things about our hosts Ron & Patricia. They know so much about the area and are a wealth of info. Casa Bonita is the best place to stay in west bay – you can’t beat the location on the beach; the accommodations are great, and Patricia & Ron (and Dee) know everyone and everything. We can’t wait to come back to CB. We are now lifelong fans! Thank you so much again and all our very best.
